      Superhero Pink His cause of death is irrelevant, as there are many different ways to die. What is important is the incredible entertainment legacy he left behind. The hundreds if not thousands of animated shorts created by his talented crew, Disneyland/World would not have existed without someone willing to take the risks required to create a company such as his. I am a huge fan of animation, and while Disney's style is not my #1 favorite (#1 is Warner Brothers) Disney certainly ranks in the top three...

      ***** Actually, Anime dates back further. The Mickey Mouse cartoons, dates back to 1928. While anime, dates back to 1907, or further than that, because, Kamishibai, considered a precursor to modern anime & manga, was a storytelling method used for centuries, it originated in Japanese Buddhist temples in the 12th Century, and was revived during the Great Depression. So anime still would've been around if Walt Disney wasn't.

    • @Walt_Xander94
      @Walt_Xander94 9 років тому +3

      *****
      Walt had nothing to do with that either. I checked, the large anime eyes, dates back to Osamu Tezuka, creator of Astro Boy, who was inspired by early cartoon characters like Betty Boop, who was created by another pioneer in animated cartoons, Max Fleischer. He was around *before* Walt Disney was, and he invented the Rotoscope, so if it wasn't for him, the Snow White film wouldn't have been made, or at least, not in the way Walt & his animators made it

    Oswald was Walt's first character, but he made him when he was working with Universal Pictures. He lost the trademark to Oswald when he was seperated from the project and then made Mickey Mouse. He then rose to fame and became the face of Disney. No one really knew about Oswald until "Epic Mickey" came out. Everyone should know about Oswald. It's quite an interesting story.

    There should be a Disney Nostalgia/History section showing more of the old stuff & Walt’s history on Disney+ where the can honour Walt’s legacy. After all he started the whole company. They could show the older cartoons, the shows like “Wonderful World of Color”, & even the old shows like “Zorro” etc.
    I feel the current people in charge are so obsessed in moving the company away from Walt’s vision & legacy of work that it’s almost unrecognisable as having any Disney Magic. I don’t care if they have to put “disclaimers” at the start of all the old shows that were products of their time. It’s his history & heritage & without him we wouldn’t have what we have today - & they wouldn’t have the jobs they’ve got.
    Give us a Nostalgia/History/Legacy section where we can remember Walt, not bought in stuff like Marvel etc.

    Walt Disney is fucking GOAT. He was a showman in the truest sense of the word. A pioneering force in the world of animation he transformed the entertainment history completely with his innovative ideas and creative visions. In his over 4 decade long career he changed the way the world looked at animation and was solely responsible for ushering in the golden age of animation. Til this day no other person has singularly contributed to the animation industry like he has. If it wasn't for him there would be no anime and manga. Osamu tezuka the godfather of manga the one who started it all was heavily inspired by Walt Disney. He saw the Bambi movie at least 80 times and most of his character designs are similar to walt's characters. He received more academy awards and nominations than any other person in history. Between 1932 and 1969 he won 22 academy awards and was nominated 59 times. Sadly his chain smoking habit lead to lung cancer which he succumbed to but he will forever be an icon in human history
    RIP WALT DISNEY 🙏

    And to think, this aired in 1989-- JUST prior to the "Disney Renaissance" the started with "The Little Mermaid"... :O
    (ALSO-- was I the only one amused that there was a commercial for a live-action "Frog Prince" movie at the end??? LOL!!)

    I love Disney, but he usually always kills the mother or separates the mother and child. Walt lost his mother and I think it comes out in his cartoons. My daughter was born on the day he died only 3 years later. He was a genius. 💕🐞

    I've always watched videos of how in Disney movies they have subliminal messages, such as placing the word "sex" in clouds, water, tree branches, dust etc etc......... and I hate to say it but on minute 0:06:46 I actually saw it myself :-/ on the right flower, the petal forms the S, the anther makes the middle stick for the letter E and the X it's slightly shapep on the bottom of the tree trunk going into the roots................ I still love Disney movies, nevertheless. :-/

      I'm not saying you are wrong but I don't see it I mean I see the S but not the E or X I think people are just saying there are because they are so focused on looking for negatives of a person than their positives... I've seen videos that there are Subliminal messages in kid shows like Dora and that's so crazy!

      I guess we are all entitled to our own opinion, I DO see it... also I do also believe there are subliminal messages in almost everything, I don't doubt that there ARE also in DORA and all those kids shows. But when it comes to people focusing on the negative , it's true.... we should always stay and seek for the positive. ;)

      I don't see it in this video but the story behind the Lion King image of SEX in the dust was the it was actually SFX which stood for Special Effects. Who knows what the truth is.

      Good Lord. Really? Why are people so focused on finding out that Walt Disney and the Disney Corporation are so evil? Don't you have better things to do with your life than look for subliminal messages that "may" or "may not" be there? Frankly, I do. And if a subliminal message causes you to do something you wouldn't normally do, then you are weak minded. A lot of those subliminal things are jokes played by the animators. Like publishing Michael Eisner's phone number in one cartoon. Now that's funny stuff.
