I just got into VRchat a few months ago after my gf passed away, this brought back a lot of memories for me as well as I was born in 1986. I will definitely be checking out this world. I used to be an avid DDR/ITG player back in the mid 2000's.

Great video, I've never seen this VR Arcade before. Past few days for some reason, VR Arcade videos have been showing up in my feed. I love this one, I know this is a year old so I need to find an updated video of it. Almost made me cry being able to go walk through Blockbusters and then in to the arcade lol

Yeah man. When it was new, and exciting! Felt like going to the movies x10! I kind of miss when you had to leave your house to play the new hotness lol. I don't miss the quarter drain though.
I got a multicade and Vpin in the game room with a CRT hooked to a PS2. Access to like 6,500 classics. What i wouldn't give to go back in time and give them to 12 year old me lol.
Stumbled on this while looking at videos for the VR game "Neon Retro Arcade". Imagine if you could combine these two experiences, my god what a situation that would be.
New Retro Arcade? Yeah i thought the same thing lol. That game is cool but it's a royal pain to set up right i heard. So i avoided it. I tried the demo on steam and even that was giving me issues.
I wish someone would make a proper build your own arcade VR title with very easy to mod cabinets and such. EMUvr is the closest i have come, all it takes is dragging and dropping the ISO, scanning it, putting lables into a folder and done.
Decorating the room is just as easy, source some cool poster art online, click, drag, done. That's what i want to see someone make for VR only an arcade. That way people would have entire arcades pre-built custom and all you would have to do to get started, is use their folder as a base.

Ive never rrally been interested in VR. But that kind of changed with this video. And this is a year old! The nostalgia hits hard in this space...
I can see that in 5 years or so AI with like Vision Pro or the like we'll be able to live in our favorites TV shows like Friends or Buffy and be a legit character in that show! Passive or playing a role with those characters we love so much. I honestly tbink in the future we'll be able to hang out at the Bronze or Central Perk! Like that may be possible one day soon...

Also yeah, i've been thinking about AI with VR and how things can really take off. If we don't devolve into WWIII, i suspect within 10 years or so AI will allow the user to create pretty much any environment/characters they desire from their childhood home to a movie set.

This is PC. Some amazing worlds in VR chat, a lot of creeps though so watch out if you plan to play.

@@EQOAnostalgia It's fine. I've been digesting your content for a while, just thought another skin would've fit the place better. I enjoyed the first Kingdom Hearts, but it's all so confusing with where that franchise has been nowadays in so many different directions.
Sora just seems so out of place. I was thinking of something more iconic of the 90s.
@@Sybertek Yeah i just kind of went in with what i had on at the time. Most of my focus was on getting the video capture to work right. I thought about that later though and plan on looking for something retro.
