Is there a test for the CO alarm itself? It could be just that it is starting to develop a fault espcially in a kitchen where a lot of food is fried.

Hi Sergio,
Thanks for your comment. There is a test for CO alarms however it must be carried out in a laboratory under test conditions. during the test, they inject known concentrations of CO into a sealed unit with the alarm and check its operation. Obviously we can not do this on site.

We had TWO carbon monoxide activations on two separate occasions on two different sensors.
We live in a council property and the engineer said it’s due to atmospheric’s .
They moved the boiler from a cupboard in a bedroom to the loft .
We’ve had two months of problems with this issue.
