Starting my gas course in January. You are a legend mate. Thank you for the insight. I been watching you videos. Not jumping the gun just a healthy appetite for info. Lol
Hi Allen, I'm Francisco, I'm from Spain but I'm living in Durham (U.K), I'm considering to become a gas engineer, would you give me any advice? Thank you very much for your support and help.
Well done guys, I have now done my ACS four times & wished there was something like this back then it was always slightly a smoke & mirrors affair I found. One thing for sure though is you never stop learning & with chatting/meeting new people helps with that, if you think you know it all then your in the wrong frame of mind for this industry! 👍🏻
Trying to get some funding for gas analyser at the moment Alan which do you recommend?,,thanks again for vids, oh what will my first summative exams entail ? I'm a little apprehensive as I haven't studied in donkeys years, lol
Don’t know how you fellas can be arsed doing this, but can’t thank you enough got my acs on Monday after doing all but no gas in 6 years of plumbing. Very anxious to get it passed. Much appreciated fellas
Looking at the inside state of the cooker on the right and how the cooker on the left sounds when it wobbles, i think the best place for them is bunged outside for the scrap man i think

Last place I went to, 2 bottles of Scotch and some basic knowledge seemed to do the trick. I mentioned this to GS guy last week, he seemed surprised and so as he'd look into it 😉😂
29:10 is incorrect, shouldn’t it be 150mm not 25mm? “2 states that gas installation pipes must be spaced at least 150mm away from electricity meters, controls, electrical switches or sockets, distribution boards or consumer units.”
I have no experience in Gas servicing, If i do a course in 'New entrant to Gas' followed by an ACS qualification, is it handy enough to get gas safe registered and start servicing boilers yourself? Thanks for replying
I'm not a gas engineer but I thought a gas pipe had to be 150mm from a elictrical outlet and 25mm from electrical cable unless the gas pipe is sleeved with insulation
@@AllenHart999 , yes that is what I said however in the training video @ 29:10 he said it was 25mm from electrical outlets unless I have misunderstood ? I really enjoy watching your videos, it's nice to learn what other trades do .Thanks I must add your work is top notch 👍

Bonding needs to be within 600mm or before the first tee. Thanks.
