Welcome to the club! You are right about the N55. Long term it will prove to be the best engine choice for the reasons you said. I have an MPerformance exhaust on mine and if you get one you will not be disappointed. I have the sunroof on mine and when I drive I just always have it tilted open no matter the weather so I can listen to the noise. Deffo the right choice getting the manual as well 👍
The happiness that emits from this video is unreal! The girly ‘eek’ noise from excitement when you were getting the wiggle was making me chuckle. I don’t know why I haven’t been down those roads myself yet lol. Looks like a fun local drive lol gotta find some beauty spots for some photos with my car lol
Great vid dude! I’m picking up my 17 plate m2 manual this Friday and I can’t wait! I’m going from a M240 with the ZF box. I totally understand why you have had the manual m2.. totally different car even though they look similar.. I’ve never been happy with zf. It’s boring and makes you lazy. I don’t even use the paddles that much anymore. Time to start driving and time to start enjoying driving again from Friday! 👍
i feel the same bro, i had a m235i GC auto and it just felt so boring, i got bored after a month, a month ago i sold it and got a 2017 M2 6speed best choice i've ever made!
@@driventogaming2879 dude and tbh i know so many people who have the auto version , and i've driven both, it's night and day, like it's cool auto but manual is the true experience, i dnt think id ever get sick of it, and the N55 is such an amazing sounding motor, as i get older i hear constantly from people how they get sick of stick and want something more comfortable , but tbh i need stick, esp on this m2, i dnt party or do fun things , my only real hobbies are cars and cooking, so i just want something exciting when i'm driving and this gives you all that for a great price!
Great Video Mate 👍🏼 looking forward to more videos! While it’s cliche as fuck, I want to see a 5 things I hate - mainly because I think you’ll really struggle! haha
It has a firmer ride than the 235/240. The rear subframe is directed mounted to the chassis in the m2 unlike the oil filled bushes on the 235/240. Dampers do get overwhelmed if your driving fast down a very bump British a/b road like most BMWs. Plenty of good aftermarket options to make it very composed on them types of roads.

Great video mate! Looking forward to seeing more
Swaying me to get an OG manual M2 as my next car out of many other choices. Subscribed 🙂
You certainly wouldn’t regret it!! I’ll be doing a year ownership review among others soon! It’s an amazing car to own. Thanks a lot🤘🏻

Yes! Great video man!
Great video, nice to see a local UA-camr. Next time take it along the wantage road 👌.

Loving these Vids, for the real enthusiast's! Are these cars limited to 155?
Great car and review,i feel the same about the m2 s in manual!
What does the og bit mean ? Like original gangster you mean ?

Nice car! How does it compare to the 911? Obviously faster, but does the M2 feel like a premium sports car? Or a hotted up hard riding Coupe?
You look like Lenny the Geeza with the beard lol and almost the same car 😅
Always hear the ride is harsh? I've test driven an OG and didn't feel that way but my father said he could.

I am trying to make up my mind on BRZ or BMW OG M2. Think I have an answer now
How can that even be a question in your head?????
B R I's price bro, og m2 would possibly cost all my saving while I still keep some change in my pocket if I go for a new cool grey brz. Hahahaha
@@zcong3402. Oh, ok, haha. I thought you could not decide due to performance and driveability. If you can save up a bit more, I recommend the m2.
@@BR-xh1ql yeah exactly...maybe not rush to a brz, just save up for another one or two month..
I've got a 19 BRZ. I reckon it's got to be one of the most overrated cars in history. I want to get an M2. The engine in the BRZ is just awful..
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and get an auto. I love manual but this manual sadly just doesn’t suit the car
