Hey mate. I have an M2. Had just over a year now. When Ur car is up too temperature. In second gear floor it from 2000k rpm. And lift of bang on or just before 5k . It will over run and make some noise. It's awesome. I have installed a sports downpipe. Resonator delete and performance intake. Also, bootmod3: tune. It's an animal now. 👍 Enjoy it mate
Audis are for people who care more about what their interior looks like and google maps on their dials!! This is a Drivers Car, they can't be compared! rant over lol
The n55 is such a master piece of an engine. Such a track weapon people just don't understand this about the M2. they're too caught up on traffic light Facebook videos.
ItzD3fW1sH Yeah I agree, buying this car for straight line throttle pedal mashing will just lead to disappointment. It’s still quick but more about the driving involvement/lovely chassis balance.
Such a track weapon but take it on track and void your warranty ... these aren’t built for track just ask the warranty, madness this isn’t mentioned in reviews you have to read the fine print or get caught out 🤦♂️ you don’t have a leg to stand on it’s in black and white. misleading advertisement won’t get you far your on your own up shit creak without a paddle

Got my M2. same time as yourself - am absolutely impressed with it - it certainly is a great driving car . Last car was a 228 BMW compared with the new M2 it felt like grandpa's car.
I bought this exact same car last July.. same time you did. This thing is pure joy as my daily driver.
Get a stage 2 and decat. Raced one on my channel against a stage 1 m140i. Really surprising results!

Dunno if you know but to get extra burbles out of the car press the traction button, the burbles are crazy it’s like a hidden burble mode.
Do a track day in it so you can see what it can really do
Yeah that’s the plan once the car has some more miles on it, heard the brakes on M2 aren’t great on track so might have to deal with that first.

You need to keep the s3. You'll appreciate having it when the winter snow comes and the m2 gets stuck unless you put winter tires on

I’m so close to buying an identical M2 like yours but as I’m sure most people are thinking at the minute, should I wait for the competition!!?
I think dealers have had a few run out models fully spec’d, it’s a tantalising proposition with the discounts they are offering.
I’m just wondering if I’m a few years this will actually be the model that people talk about and swear by 🤔
We can only speculate but would love to know your thoughts 💭 perhaps a video on the idea, if you have the time.
For example, will it sound as good with the new EU regs and emissions that have to be applied to the new cars 🤷♂️

Lovely car mate. Not sure where you’re living dude but have seen you around the solihull area before - make sure you get a decent alarm/tracker on it. A fair few M2’s being stolen with the relay devices around here. Seems they can easily get in the BMW’s at the moment like the fords. Worried about my X340i which is here in 3 months

Not gonna be doing anything too extensive, think OEM+. If I was going to do a full on project I’d get a 7R
manual says you should stay under 4500 rpm until 1200 miles

S3 will be faster to 62 but then M2 will go past it
Actually the Audi s3 is .1 to 60 slower than the m2, so will the m2 beat the s3? It would be hard especially in real world terms i.e. Wet, uneven tarmac and so what. Rolling the m2 everyday and yes technically the m2 in perfect conditions would be faster to 60. However a more suitable contender would be the rs3 yes that is faster but is it as fun to drive?
S3 has the traction over the m2 but after 60 or so the s3 will be left

Just had a mooch on the cost to insure an S3 2014. It would cost me 37,000 for one year. The dream has been delayed a few more years 🙃
