It shows that Gayle King is more interested in hearing herself talk instead of this wonderful couple. Rather rude in my opinion; viewers are interested in hearing what George and Amal Clooney have to say not her...she doesn’t get it.

I wish Gayle King had not interrupted Amal. Amal couldn't finish a sentence uninterrupted because Ms. King kept jumping in. The interview was suppose to be focused (I'm guessing) on the Clooneys and not Ms.King directing the interview back to herself. Everybody should be respected!!

I grew up with all the contrary. Parents shouting and insulting each other all the time. So marriage is a phobia to me. George and Amal are really lucky to have found each other.
I love their honesty, and when Amal said the ,,secret'' is 99% strike of luck; meeting the right person in the right time, maaan that hit me hard. I appreciate their openness and honesty. You can really tell they're not faking it as many do. They are made for each other and they truly had THE LUCK for finding one another. :-)
They were both mature adults when they got married. It is a compatible relationship where their stars are concerned and that's why one sees that understanding and patience and love between them.

It is called a talk show. People have so much time to answer questions. This is not a 2 hour show. Shows I have noticed when they allow people to talk all the time tend to not last long. Make sure when you vet your own show that you allow your guests to talk, talk, and talk with sponsors

I get Clooney and Amal. I married a really beautiful woman who is also VERY smart and classy as can be. She had impeccable manners and morals, and speaks multiple languages. When we first met, she was like a princess and she thought I was her prince, even though we were both low on cash. We have now been married for 20 years and became mult-millionaires together when we both started out with nothing. Ironically, we had both come from wealthy families who gave us no help and no head start in life. Frankly it was shameful. But neither of us cared. Our first jobs were a busboy and dishwasher (me) and a deli worker (her). When we met I was a cop and she was a loan processor. We have come a long way. I cannot say we have never had an argument, because we are both VERY strong willed people, so that gets in the way sometimes. But in the end, we both respect eachother and keep God in our marriage and our marriage is strong and our kids turned out great too. I see many of the same traits in these too, so I know they will be very successful in marriage. Some think it is 99% luck but I disagree. If you look close enough and paid enough attention, you will see God put it together and therefore He should be praised, because a love like that is uncommon.

And THIS is what I'm holding out for. I too believe when you meet someone and there is a spark...a flame, you just know it. Coversations are never forced, they just come easy. Just the sight of them or soumd of their voice makes you smile. It happens to couples everyday all over the world.
And the fact that they never argue tells you the depth of respect and love that is there. I don't believe couples have to argue to have a healthy relationship. That is cynical. When I think of every argument I have ever had with an ex or friend, it was because of miscommunication. 100%. But when you are with the right person, you get one another.

I agree. But you won’t always agree on everything though. That doesn’t mean you will argue about it. You just accept each other’s differences and points of view without feeling triggered or angry at them. I think that’s true love, as well. 100% acceptance. I have that now for the first time ever, after many failed relationships. I’m 28 and I’m so happy with my man. I truly hope we last for a lifetime.

I'm happy for both of them. Both of them showed humility in regards to their partner. That's basically it. And most relationships there's a power struggle because one partner wants to dominate the other partner. You don't see that from them. She said she couldn't believe that she was going to be spending the rest of her life with that man. And George he looked at her like with puppy eyes. He had that oh gosh type of Look to him. They are definitely the ideal because the humility that they both show to each other that's why the relationship is good.

Nothing’s perfect! They’re happy and that is great but there’s no need to compare their relationship to your own. Everyone’s relationship is unique and as long as it’s healthy, that’s what matters. My friend and her husband would never argue nor fight, he ended up leaving her for someone else. My friend later said that she was a pushover in their relationship and focused on making him happy. You never know what’s behind the scenes.

I love how they compliment each other and how they look at each other, looks like a great couple. I am just skeptical on when they say they never argue, that is just hard to believe. Disagreements and arguments happens in any relationship either with your family or partners or spouses and it’s very normal. It’s how you deal with them, do you deal with it respectfully and professionally or deal with them violently or harshly.

Well, I have never ever had a fight or an argument with my brother. We are both middle age adults now, but nope, it has always been a super easy and peaceful relationship between us. We just gel. So yes, it is possible to never ever have a disagreement or argument with family. For me that's a reality. I have two brothers though. One, I fight tooth and nail with frequently, we disagree on everything, and the other, just absolute peaceful and we are just always on the same page and understand each other perfectly. On the other hand, I was also 10 years married to a man who I never had a disagreement or argument with. He cheated on me, was a big shock to find out, as we got along so well, and there wasn't a single conflict in our marriage, and then it was over.
@N. Long: Emotionally mature people can disagree without arguing, especially when you are living a dream life like they are. If they stay together long enough though they will argue, but I have no reason to doubt what they say. I was in a relationship years ago for three years, and we never argued either. He was a pathological liar, so there was that. 😂😂. That ultimately ended the relationship, but even then it wasn’t contentious. I said that it was over, he resisted, and was apologetic, I stuck to my guns. That was it…. We went our separate ways!
They probably just don’t spend much time with each other. And neither of them mind.

My current husband, the love of my life, didn’t sweep me off my feet when I met him, but I kept going out with him because he seemed genuinely kind and had his life together. Fast forward 7years and a coup,e kids later and we’re more in love than ever. My love and respect have only grown for him. It’s important to get out of a relationship that you know is bad, to work on yourself and face your own demons and shortcomings, and then to figure out what is really important to you and not compromise on that. It’s never too late to start over…relationships can be easy if you’re level headed and also with the right person .
