You have to see the movie! The banter back and forth between them in the movie is so funny - so quick and witty. Even acting in the movie, you can see there is that genuine connection.

4 of us went to see Ticket to Paradise together... We laughed more than we had in ages... and everyone else in the audience were laughing too. Really good fun.
@ashley1994 - I'm in Hong Kong.... Amazing that we got it before the USA! I always thought we got movies later.
@ashley1994 - By the way - it's been a rough few years in HK - we had protests that brought millions onto the streets in 2019, then China clamped down, implemented 'sedition / national security laws' and took rights away, many people fled (we actually have a shrinking population now), all democratic leaning politicians were removed from the government (for not being "patriotic" enough), and many were sent to prison (jailed political prisoners went from none to over 1000), even the Catholic Cardinal of HK was arrested for funding the legal defense of activists - they said he is 'colluding with foreign forces', then zero covid policies were very extreme - we still all wear masks in public and quarantine for people entering HK just ended a couple weeks ago though you still need to follow up and supply the government with 3 days of covid tests after arriving (at one point earlier this year, anyone entering HK had to spend 3 weeks in quarantine)... It's been very depressing here... All my friends feel the negativity in HK. We used to be an exciting global hub city and now we feel isolated from the world. So... going to a theater and watching a movie that made us all laugh together was such a joy! You could feel that throughout the theater. It was such a great escape from the Covid and HK police state vibe we have here. Of course we all had to wear masks in the theater, but that's so normal here now. Anyway - I hope you enjoy the movie! We certainly did here in HK!

@ashley1994 - HK is/was a very international city... lots of foreigners here, tho many leaving now.
@ashley1994 When I say international city I don't mean it's outside the USA, I mean there are a large number of people from around the world living in the city. Like New York or London. I was born in America, but left before I have any memories and was raised in Asia and most of my life in Asia.
Their body language shows just how good of friends they are!! And Ticket to Paradise was such a good movie, I laughed non stop
I live on Hamilton Island in Australia where most of Ticket to Paradise was filmed. George is so down to earth. He just cruised around the island like a local 👍

@@annisapintar7890 I know but due to COVID Bali was in lock for most of the filming so decided to film in Australia mostly on Hamilton Island + the QLD Government gave about 7 million or something like that 👍
@@yolernlimn3574 Julia was much more reserved kept to herself. They were staying next door to each other and would pop over like good friends/neighbours and have dinner with each other’s family. Everyone on the island just let them be and not harass them unlike everywhere else. I think that’s part of the reason they loved it 😀

Yes, the real story of Flipper is actually a tragedy. The dolphins that were trained as Flipper actually became profoundly depressed because of the stress of their training. One dolphin actually tried to drown herself. The trainer slowly began to realize the horrible thing he was doing. Now he is an activist for aquatic wildlife. Try to find his documentary. Not a happy movie, but it's worth it to know the truth so that you can contribute to real change.
After the Blackfish documentary AND twice reading John Hargrove's outstanding book "Beneath the Surface", I absolutely believe you!!!! Thank you, I will definitely try to find that documentary!!

@@bev9708 The trainer's name is Ric O'Barry, and he has an organization called The Dolphin Project. The documentary is titled "The Cove". I absolutely loved Flipper as a child, but I'm glad I saw the film. Just try to watch it with a friend? Definitely not before bedtime. It is really sad, but it also makes you angry and wanting to do something about the problem. Thanks for responding!

My dad was a lighting crew on Sisters and he only had great things to say about George. I remember visiting the set as a shy child and George actually called me over and say “Let’s take a picture together.” I thought that was such a sweet gesture because even as a child, I felt like I didn’t want to impose on actors for photos. He was hanging out with the crew making jokes. I remember hearing a lot of laughters and crowds around him. They said he spends a lot of time with the “behind the scene” workers and was very kind to everyone.
