Many years ago back in the sixties there used to be a sitcom on tv with Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques playing a brother and sister living together and getting into weekly scrapes. One week, Eric got a job as a bus driver and Hattie was his conductor, and they developed a loyal passenger clientele. The denouement was that they infringed the regulations and were fired. But all their passengers were that loyal, they joined a 'walking' bus that Eric and Hattie decided to operate on the same route as the bus - ignoring all the genuine buses driving past.
First come first serve doesn't mean people already on the train have first call on a seat the they haven't moved towards. You don't just stand there, quickly sit in the seat then if someone needs it more you offer to get up.
I live in an American city and have used public transport for years! I love it! Less than $100/month for an unlimited pass is my total transportation expense. No car payments, maintenence, licensing, parking. Also most Americans think they "have" to have a car so its rarely as crowded as it would be in a place like London.
True! I work thirty minutes away and I take my kids with me, so public transportation here is just not feasible as it would take about four hours to get to work and another four hours to get home looking at the bus stops.
@Jodi_BoringReviews yeah, it's unfortunate that so many places just are not set up to make it a viable option for a lot of people. It just suits my lifestyle (urban and no kids!) Also I can be late for just about anything and as soon as I say "my bus..." the other person is like "omg! You took the bus! I'm sooo sorry" Even though, if I'm late it's usually my OWN fault! 🤣🤣
@ lol!! I love that though! I’d lose my job if I was late. But it definitely helps with pollution and finances. I’d be all about public transportation if we lived somewhere like NYC or Europe.
Awww!! Thank you sooo much!! I really appreciate this!! My car is twelve years old and breaking down badly. They don’t make US cars like British cars. Same car in England gets over double the gas mileage as we get.
I love watching the clips when this super couple are watching them too. They are not afraid to "Lose It" when something funny happens, particularly Nick, he sometimes roars with laughter, making the clip twice as funny (At this time I have to say that I prefer the clean shaven Nick) Jodi always looks good, even when she pretends that she is embarrassed. Keep `em coming you guys, I am almost 90 years of age and they give me a real "Lift"
Brilliant, thanks as always guys, it's November already!.... not long until our 'one day of snow' now! Usually hits January time, although some of us are in other areas, pretty sure many places in Scotland gets a LOT of snow a LOT more than 1 day! It's the pre-snow frosty-icy weather that I don't look forward to! Cheers guys!
Just advice on the mini cooper! they are a nightmare to repair, you can get them for really cheap in the UK because they have issues that are expensive to fix!
I did research that they are expensive to fix which is concerning… they aren’t cheap here though! They cost the same as everything else. Too much. lol!
That first sketch was the first time I ever saw Michael in the mid 2000s. I think it was probably his first ever really big gig. You could instantly tell he was going to be a superstar. What a breath of fresh air he was from anyone around at the time.
as far as the Tube is concerned...you snooze, you loose ! ...I do look around fist and offer seat. One I was standing up and a woman standing next to me was heavily pregnant , and I said to her " as anyone offered you a seat ? " so she said " no, it's ok - I don't want a fuss " - it was obvious she was suffering ..so I said to the whole carriage " would someone mind offering the lady a seat ? " 3 offered . It just surprised me that no one noticed , but people never look up ...
I don't dislike Michael McIntyre, but you can tell 90% of the stories he tells are either entirely fake or almost entirely made up of embellishment. I appreciate most comedians add a bit to stories to make it funnier, but I don't believe any part of the majority of Michael McIntyre's stories. Russell Howard does it as well.
Jodi wants a Mini Cooper? Hey Nick! Get your skates on mate!
Mini Countryman sits higher than the other Mini's
Yay I love it when you react to stand up 😅
Thanks guys
Nick, let her get the Mini 🤣

@@Jodi_BoringReviews You know what I would get, but it might be more of a boy thing- a Saab 93! omg i love that car, it's just a gokart! :D
Which type of Mini, I like the Countryman it sits higher than the others
I think the simple mini or mini s. Something small and petite. We have so many massive size suvs and trunks here.
This is my stop....
The best thing about a visit to London is finally getting on the train home . Getting a seat is the stuff of dreams .
