Oof, yes, Kennedy Era was quite iconic in US and world history XD loved that they added that for vintage vibe and marketing for Esterbrook haha! I also love that Opus 88, since blue is my second-favorite color. I love the Glauco Cambon so much, so is that the one you tried and want? XD It's totally a game changer of a Pelikan M600 pen. Absolute beauty and writer. I like Pelikan inks yes - they are very saturated and lovely for them being on the drier end. But any wet pen will make these Pelikan inks feel wet.
@@KenchanKrafts Hello! Yes that was the very first Pelikan I tried and fell in love with it. It’s so much more beautiful in person, a true work of art! I only have the Rose Quartz no and the Apatite sample you sent for Christmas and I love that color that I will get a bottle of it.
I think not all the goodies you got from the pelikan hub are provided by pelikan, in my city people just got the pink notebook and the ink of the year. Maybe the hub masters got local stores to collab on the bags?
That's probably it, that's why I had gotten so much extra goodies in this bag. And it only makes sense for pelikan to give the ink and pad, since, I don't think there was any fee for signing up (if there was, it was just enough to cover most of the ink, which is fair). Fountain Pen Day is the first Friday of every November and if you go to Atlas Stationer's channel, they had the founder of Fountain Pen Day at their store in Chicago on Fountain Pen Day for a live show :) I think that will be a great video to watch to learn more about it. Almost every Fountain Pen retailer around USA and some stores in Europe will provide between 10-20% discounts off their entire store and certain items are discounted even more. If you have one or two specific stationery/fountain pen website you enjoy shopping from, I'm sure they would have some sort of FPD sale! Endlesspens and Atlas Stationers are two of my favorite places for great sales and deals all year round and even better during FPD and Black Friday. If you're into pens and want sales, click on the links I've included on my channel for Atlas for the sales :)
@KenchanKrafts Do you think that Montblanc: Maya Blue its a unique Ink ? or is there similar Inks like Maya Blue ? Because here in Europe (Germany) it´s sold out.
The maya blue is very similar to Kobe Nagasawa - Suidosuji Marche Blue. But that ink is a wet ink vs maya blue being slightly drier. Still the shade of blue/teal from Maya blue is super close to that ink :) Anderillium Banded King Shoemaker Butterfly Blue or Colorverse Dokdo are also quite similar, but those seem to be a bit more blue.
Hi Karen, thanks for watching my video ^_^ For burgundy inks with golden shimmer...I have a few reds you can check out. They're not exactly burgundy, but it might be good to check each out to see which you like more. Van Dieman's Cheetah Chase, Colorverse Volume 7 Kingdom No 041, Ancient Song - Song of the Wanderer, and Wearingeul - The Great Sage Heaven's Equal. Those are all reds with gold shimmers. I don't see a lot of straight up burgundies with gold shimmer, but check these out :) Hope you like some of them. They're typically drier inks, just an fyi, so try to use them in broader nibs or a pen that writes wet.

If you're using a Western EF nib, you may not have the best experience with shimmer inks in it as the slit between the tines will be very thin and make it difficult for shimmer particles to flow through, but it is possible to still use shimmers in them and get some shimmer and ink out of the nib. If you're using a Japanese EF, I recommend not using any shimmer inks in those pens. The only good flowing red with gold shimmer I know of is Diamine Firefly, but that one is more red/orange. Alternatively, you could add 1-2 small drops of gold fountain pen shimmer particles to your favorite burgundy ink and make a shimmer ink out of it :) I would suggest going to vanness1938.com/ and type in Burgundy ink in the search to find burgundy colors you like to try out. Pennonia sells shimmer particles here: cultpens.com/products/pennonia-shimmer-additive-15g?variant=43185145872627 Good luck with finding the perfect burgundy ink for your pens!
xD It's beautiful! I love all my rose gold ecos! All my TWSBIs have written on the drier side...this one was no exception. I'm using my Tsuki-yo Pilot ink in it and it writes quite dry! I'm shocked, may need to tune the nib to be a bit wetter. Otherwise, it's such a lovely pen! Thanks for watching my haul ^_^

This year I hope to start my Pelikan collection now that I finally got to try one…I have a list of Pelikan pens on my wishlist and this is the first one I tried and the first one I will get. I love the Glauco Cambon so much, so is that the one you tried and want? XD It's totally a game changer of a Pelikan M600 pen. Absolute beauty and writer. I like Pelikan inks yes - they are very saturated and lovely for them being on the drier end. But any wet pen will make these Pelikan inks feel wet.
@@KenchanKrafts Hello! Yes that was the very first Pelikan I tried and fell in love with it. It’s so much more beautiful in person, a true work of art! I only have the Rose Quartz no and the Apatite sample you sent for Christmas and I love that color that I will get a bottle of it.
I think not all the goodies you got from the pelikan hub are provided by pelikan, in my city people just got the pink notebook and the ink of the year. Maybe the hub masters got local stores to collab on the bags?
That's probably it, that's why I had gotten so much extra goodies in this bag. And it only makes sense for pelikan to give the ink and pad, since, I don't think there was any fee for signing up (if there was, it was just enough to cover most of the ink, which is fair). What exactly is fountain pen day, and how does one find these deals?
Hey Ryan! Thanks for watching and asking! Fountain Pen Day is the first Friday of every November and if you go to Atlas Stationer's channel, they had the founder of Fountain Pen Day at their store in Chicago on Fountain Pen Day for a live show :) I think that will be a great video to watch to learn more about it. Almost every Fountain Pen retailer around USA and some stores in Europe will provide between 10-20% discounts off their entire store and certain items are discounted even more. If you have one or two specific stationery/fountain pen website you enjoy shopping from, I'm sure they would have some sort of FPD sale! Endlesspens and Atlas Stationers are two of my favorite places for great sales and deals all year round and even better during FPD and Black Friday. Do you think that Montblanc: Maya Blue its a unique Ink ? or is there similar Inks like Maya Blue ? Because here in Europe (Germany) it´s sold out.
The maya blue is very similar to Kobe Nagasawa - Suidosuji Marche Blue. But that ink is a wet ink vs maya blue being slightly drier. Still the shade of blue/teal from Maya blue is super close to that ink :) Anderillium Banded King Shoemaker Butterfly Blue or Colorverse Dokdo are also quite similar, but those seem to be a bit more blue.

Hi Karen, thanks for watching my video ^_^ For burgundy inks with golden shimmer...I have a few reds you can check out. They're not exactly burgundy, but it might be good to check each out to see which you like more.
Van Dieman's Cheetah Chase, Colorverse Volume 7 Kingdom No 041, Ancient Song - Song of the Wanderer, and Wearingeul - The Great Sage Heaven's Equal. Those are all reds with gold shimmers. I don't see a lot of straight up burgundies with gold shimmer, but check these out :) Hope you like some of them. They're typically drier inks, just an fyi, so try to use them in broader nibs or a pen that writes wet.

@@karenescobar7407 You're very welcome! If you're using a Western EF nib, you may not have the best experience with shimmer inks in it as the slit between the tines will be very thin and make it difficult for shimmer particles to flow through, but it is possible to still use shimmers in them and get some shimmer and ink out of the nib. If you're using a Japanese EF, I recommend not using any shimmer inks in those pens.
The only good flowing red with gold shimmer I know of is Diamine Firefly, but that one is more red/orange.
Alternatively, you could add 1-2 small drops of gold fountain pen shimmer particles to your favorite burgundy ink and make a shimmer ink out of it :) I would suggest going to vanness1938.com/ and type in Burgundy ink in the search to find burgundy colors you like to try out. Love my TWSBI Eco Indigo Bronze in Fine! I have mine inked with Anderillium Flying Squid Blue.
xD It's beautiful! I love all my rose gold ecos! All my TWSBIs have written on the drier side...this one was no exception. I'm using my Tsuki-yo Pilot ink in it and it writes quite dry! I'm shocked, may need to tune the nib to be a bit wetter. Otherwise, it's such a lovely pen! Thanks for watching my haul ^_^
