To anyone wondering why the flag flipped from blue on top to red, no he (BalzianTube) did not make a mistake.
During peace times the blue is set on top representing peace, love and justice but the moment an official war against the Philippines is declared the flag is flipped to have the red side on top which represents patriotism and valor.
In the beggining the blue is in the top representing the peace it once had, red in the middle when Japan invades the Philippines then back to blue in the very end showing that the nation is at peace again.

Flipping a flag upside down means wartime, nation under invasion, or international call for distress. Every flag can be done in such a manner, as what I have stated in the former. But you are right that the creator didn't made a mistake.

This English version was due to Philippines was once under the American Rule so that people during American Time spoke English, schools were in English, text books and all literatures were in English language. Philippine National Anthem was sung in English during Flag Ceremony in the morning then followed by Panatang Makabayan in English. Same as "Pledge of Allegians" were taught in every school that we have to memorize them too. That's why most people during the American Time spoke English although most of them did not have good education but at least they were able to communicate in broken English. Even the Philippine money before was under American with Commonwealth Eagle Wings Logo on one side of the coins

When Philippines became Independent slowly everything changed into our own National Language and different dialects, the Philippine money Logo were changed . too.

My best guess that this is translated by the American Government and turn it into the Philippines' National Anthem since the the year 1938 to 1946 during the American-commonwealth era of the Philippines, but in 1942-1944 during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines in WW2, this anthem was not used but a new version of it, but it will be re-used again after the Americans kicked the Japanese off the Mainland Philippines and liberated it. However this Anthem version will no longer be used after the Philippines was granted independence from America, but it is yet still sung by some Filipinos.
(If the Americans didn't exist.. damn, we Filipinos will be speaking Spanish or Japanese)

Their reasons for taking Philippines and how they handled us were way smarter than the europoors.
They needed a buffer zone in the Asian area, and the Philippines is in a strategic area, so they took the philippines, but instead of actually colonizing it for the long run which would require not only a huge army to protect it from outside enemies but also a mad populace from within, they developed the nation (which caused us to be the pear of asia) and promised us independence. Which means a advanced ally in the asian pacific which can defend itself and act as a buffer for the USA

Saved us from the Spaniards? No, they did not. Spain sold the Philippines along with Cuba, Puerto Rico and Guam to the US in the Treaty of Paris in 1898 for $20M.
We had every means to kick the Spaniards out but they did not want to surrender to "brown people" hence the deal.

The reason why this version of the anthem (along with its OG Spanish version) is because according to RA 8491 Section 36: "The National Anthem shall ALWAYS be sung in the NATIONAL LANGUAGE WITHIN AND WITHOUT THE COUNTRY".
This clause therefore prohibits the singing of "Lupang Hinirang" in either its original Spanish lyrics (which btw is inspired by a poem written by Jose Palma, correct me if I'm wrong) and its English form.
The original Spanish lyrics based of a poem written by Jose Palma (correct me if I'm wrong) was never actually used in any official manner so it still remains unofficial unless the Philippine Government decides to make it as such, but that would also cause a probable change in Section 36 of RA 8491.
The English lyrics seen and heard from this video was used in an official degree, being used as the official national anthem of the Commonwealth of the Philippines upon the repeal of the Flag Act of 1907 by the Philipine Legislature.
The National Anthem of the Phlippines has a deeper story than that so I suggest just finding the Wikipedia page for it.

    This is why it's English:
After the Spanish-American war, the Americans purchased the Philippines by Spain and it was being colonized, and the Philippine-American War started, and after the war it's still being colonized because the Philippines lost the war, and then the Philippines had their second independence, the first independence was given by Spain, now it's a fully independent country.

Yes, it should be sung in Filipino but it is not outright illegal to sing it in other languages

I know how to sing the English version because I graduated from an international school. Singing it in English never felt right. I adore and appreciate the Tagalog version far more, and I think it should never be enforced to sing the anthem in English.
