I know how to sing the English version because I graduated from an international school. Singing it in English never felt right. I adore and appreciate the Tagalog version far more, and I think it should never be enforced to sing the anthem in English.

I remember my grandmother gets confused with i was singing the filipino version of this. She told me that she never heard the filipino version and only sang the English version when she was in school

During my elementary days, I read the english version lyrics of lupang hinirang in our "sibika at kultura" book but our teacher never let us listen to it. this is the first time i heard it. thanks for posting this.

"Lupang Hinirang" does not Mean something like Land of the Morning, it means "Chosen Land", for your Mistranslation, it's Chosen Land, not Land of the Morning.
