I remember one day several years ago, I don't remember how long ago. (Perhaps 20 plus years) I played this song and my Mother told me how much she loved it. To this day I remember my mother, (God rest her soul) whenever I hear this song. Love you Mom.
80 years old now met my wife of 60 years on a fair ground and took her of Ferris wheel this was playing in the background and brings back feelings I thought I had lost
I was so fortunate to see Don and Phil at their reunion concert at The Albert Hall in 1983 it was as if they had never been gone such an amazing come back just loved listening to that perfect harmony
Wow! What a most memorable experience that was. My favorite thing about Phil and Don is how when they lock in on a harmonic note during a song it’s sounds like one voice and NO other could sound like that.
The brilliant Everly Brothers, what about the brilliant man who wrote the brilliant song, Sonny Curtis from the brilliant “Crickets” A lot of brilliance here today🙂
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE IN A GREAT SONG BY THE EVERLY BROTHERS. IN FRONT OF A LOVING AUDIENCE. AND THEIR POETRY IS IN BEAUTIFUL HARMONY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH JIM FOR THE WONDERFUL SONG. AND THE BEAUTIFUL VIDEO. ALL THE BEST WISHES. HAVE A GOOD WEEK .I LISTEN AGAIN THIS LOVELY SONG. SARA.🎵🎶🎵🎸🎸🍰🍰🍰🍰
A wonderful song by these boys, Sara. I am so happy that you enjoyed the video! I have been a fan of theirs, it seem, forever. Thank you so much for you great comment and best wishes to you as well. Take care :)) Jim
Thank you Nipstertunes. One more question if you’ll indulge me: did Phil regularly sing the high harmonies and Don the “melody”? And thanks for posting this!
Damn, so sad that they are gone and gone forever...Thank God their music will live forever and ever....They're gonna be forever missed..

I love that concert. And their voices had noticeably matured. Today I play/sing 2 or 3 songs from that session.

The second song on that first night, and the audience knew how apt it was
In what year was this performed?
Great performance of a great song. Excuse my dumb question but I have to ask: which one is Don and which Phil?
Don is on the right and Phil is on the left, singing the high parts.
Thank you Nipstertunes. One more question if you’ll indulge me: did Phil regularly sing the high harmonies and Don the “melody”? And thanks for posting this!
