This video shows the method for constructing a section of Trex Seclusions composite fencing.
Once your posts are set firmly the assembly of the rest of the fence is logical and easy:
    1. Begin by sleeving the aluminum bottom rail with Trex bottom rail covers.
    2. Place the aluminum on the post brackets (on this video they are already attached to the posts).
    3. Screw the first pickets to the posts.
    4. Insert the rest of the pickets into the aluminum bottom rail channel. The pickets interlock with each other.
    5. Place the top rail over the pickets.
    6. Finish with the placement of the post caps.
For more detailed instruction on the entire installation process, please see instructions on our website: www.trexfencingfds.com/produc.... The new guides answer questions listed in the comments below. You can also give us a call with additional questions: 877.700.8739.

what do you suggest for putting this system on a deck for a privacy fence and you need to trim to fit. what then? do you build the deck to fit each slotted picket? I guess what I'm trying to say is can the pickets be trimmed to fit the application your trying to achive. looks great on a video not so much in the world of custom decks.

If you plan to trim the edges of the pickets, we don't recommend that. The curled edges of the Trex picket not only give them the interlocking capability, they provide strength. Cutting at the top or bottom, however, is easy enough to do, so if you are building a short privacy screen (for example), it's easy to do). If you can't make the width work optimally to interlock the pickets, just follow the suggestion in the installation guide to pull most pickets tight and then fasten the last couple of "floating pickets." www.yournextfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Trex-Seclusions-Installation-Guide-Dist.120619.pdf

So you have to set the posts 100% WITHIN what? 1/8" in concrete so this system will fit together?

On pages 12-13 of the installation guide, it shows how to accommodate an imperfect layout. www.yournextfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Trex-Seclusions-Installation-Guide-Dist.120619.pdf

Do any of you know how much longer a Trex fence will last, compared to a regular wood fence?

While the warranty for Trex composites is 25 years, the product should actually last longer. Trex can actually back that up with real world experience! The very first Trex composite installations happened over 25 years and continue to perform well.

What happens if your centers are not perfect say you have a oddball Center To Center on post how do you place the last board so it locks in

On pages 12-13 of the written installation guide, it shows you how to space a couple of pickets, then fasten them. This will allow you to interlock all of the remaining pickets and the field of pickets will then be tight.

Do the posts come pre drilled with holes?

+TrexFencing is there a video of how to install a slanted downward

    • @TrexFencing

The posts are universal, meaning they do not have routed holes. The fence is built with brackets which makes slanting the Seclusions rails downward very easy. The installation guide goes into more detail: www.yournextfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Trex-Seclusions-Installation-Guide-Dist.120619.pdf. If you are building a Horizons fence, technically you could slope the fence because the same posts are used, but it would mean cutting all of the pickets and rails, so we recommend sticking with the contemporary design and stair step the fence instead.

It sure seems like you have to make sure that your width measurement BETWEEN the posts is going to be the right width to handle the pickets and there won't be an odd width of picket space to deal with. That would be such a waste of time to go to all that trouble and you can't have a picket to fit the space or leave a space open. ???

I have been up and down the web site to figure just such a scenario and it does not tell you how to deal with this. I have called suppliers and the main distributor with no reply. The 4.79" u mentioned here is more than I've found anywhere. If I understand you correctly - if I make a chart of 91" - 4.79= 86.1- 4.79= 81.5. ... by doing this it should tell me where my posts are to be? Is this correct?

Apologies for not responding to this comment sooner. This channel was originally created by the contractor that created the video and we have since taken it over. With regards to the layout, do keep in mind that there will be some variance due to expansion and contraction of the material. While it can be stated that the nominal spacing is 91" and that the 4.79 multiplier will work, there likely will be some slack. We recommend putting a few trim head nails through the top and bottom rail to hold the pickets tight once they are all pulled together.
