This video breaks down the individual steps for installing a Trex fence with the Horizons Horizontal Fence System. Trex Fencing with Horizons creates a beautiful, fully private horizontal design that will give your property a stunning look. The fence is the best alternative to wood and vinyl for privacy, durability, and low-maintenance.
Trex has led the privacy fence industry in both residential and commercial applications since 2005. Introduced in 2015, Horizons is a complementary system that was specifically designed to work with Trex composite fencing. The black frame provides an attractive contrast to the three beautiful Trex colors. Horizons is easily adaptable to construct up to 12' tall.
To find out more about the Horizons fence system, visit www.TrexFencingFDS.com or call 877-700-8739 for a copy of the installation guide and advanced tips & tricks. We can also help you find product or installation experts in your area. Horizons is available throughout the United States and Canada.
Notes: Standard Horizons frames and fasteners are made of powder-coated, galvanized steel. Standard Horizons should not be installed within five miles of a body of salt water or in close contact with the ground (adapt the bottom rail if necessary as described in the installation guide: trexfencingfds.com/resources/.... Visit the warranty page for additional details. Stainless steel frame components are available as an alternative to standard Horizons frames and screws.
If the fence is being installed or has been installed in a hot, humid climate, the pickets may experience some deformation. In order to mitigate the possibility or to help correct the issue, a back bracing rail can be installed. For more information, contact our offices.

Seems like an easy fence to install for a DIY product.

      I had the same thought.

It really is. All new installations have a learning curve, but building Trex with Horizons can be done by anyone that has basic tools and a general knack for assembling a fence.

I like the Winchester Grey color best.

Fun fact: While we ship all three colors anywhere throughout the United States, about 60% of our overall sales for both styles of Trex fencing are for the Woodland Brown color regardless of state. Winchester Grey is the second most popular color along the coastal states and in urban areas. Saddle is the second most popular color in the Midwest and Texas. Specifically for Horizons, Winchester Grey is the most popular color followed closely by Woodland Brown.

Do the need to be put in ciment like wood pannels?

Mario, yes, you would use post mix concrete for the posts. Plan on about 2 bags of 80 lb post mix per hole for a 6' tall fence. The posts do not need any special treatment and you do not need an insert inside the post to stiffen it except for gate hinge posts. If you have any additional questions, please call 877-700-8739 or visit www.trexfencingfds.com. Thanks.

Are the panels bendable. If the yard isn't perfect scared

Rocky, the Horizons fence is meant to be installed straight on or at 90 degree angles (left to right). Having said that, you could technically shim the frames you could get any angle out of the fence line. We don't offer a third party product to create the shims but contractors have used treated wood or bent the vertical rails against the post to get the angle. The horizontal rails don't bend, however. Hope that helps. If you have follow-up questions, give us a call at 877-700-8739.

    About 600 bucks per panel

Frank, that sounds about right for materials and installation. If you are installing it yourself, you will spend just under $400 for a 6x8 panel kit on our online store: www.yournextfence.com/shop. Posts and caps are extra. Shipping will depend on location.

@@TrexFencing I would like an estimate for a 250ft fence

@@ddemier I would be happy to help. Do you have a project layout that you can email so I can put together a materials list and quote? If you are just looking for a budgetary number, a straight shot of 250' of Horizons fencing would be around $15,000 retail. You can also visit our online shop if you want to build a materials list and get a quote: www.trexfencingfds.com/shop. If you want me to help with the layout, call 877-700-8739 and ask for Edmund. Thanks.

Fence that cant rack is garbage, the lumber yard had a contractor back out of a job with this fence, the yard is sloped hard and they have a dog. Guess what? This garbage will be off the ground at the end of every slope. People need to know what they're buying before they spend 16K on fencing, if only they had talked to me first.
