I have never played this game, and I was confused by that level design. It is VERY unSonic like to have solid looking platforms like that which you can run through! I also saw that there were hidden platforms that only appeared when you guessed where they were at in midair. WTF, how much time would it take to figure those out on your own with no guide??? Game Gear runs on batteries, people don't have time for that level of experimentation!?

Even worse: why did he continuously turn around while flying the plane in the Sunset Park special stage?! How could he see where he was going, turning around every half second?!
Back in the day, I always wanted this one to be ported to the Genesis. Also, I read the comic version of Triple Trouble long before I ever played the game.

Game Gear had such a charm 2 it.
Used to play this all the time when I was little, ah the nostalgia...this was definitely up there as far as Sonic titles go...salty Sonic couldn't go super in this one as an Easter egg
Sonic 3 the game gear edition
Lol Yup
Wait, I think this came before sonic 3, it came out in 1994
That's right! 😀😀😀
@@youvegotthetouch8619 Sonic 3 & Knuckles also came in 1994 .
just like how super Mario land 2 6 golden coins was basically super Mario bros 3 mixed with super Mario world (with wario instead of bowser) for game boy, triple trouble was basically sonic 3 and knuckles mixed with sonic cd with fang the weasel thrown in imo
In my opinion, this one is kinda like a sequel to Sonic Chaos.
Actually, it is a sequel of that game.
And this game is gonna have a *fan remake*
I wonder why is one of the zones called "Robotnik Winter". Sounds like nuclear winter. Did Robotnik caused freezing in that area? Or he just walked out and was like "Yeah, this time of the year is so special for me"
Perhaps it was the result of what he was doing at the Atomic Destroyer?
For some reason the music here sounds way better than in the 16-bit remake in my opinion.
._.?wtf
@@unafricano6065 I changed my mind, I like the 16-bit version more than I used to now. I still kinda like this better though.
The Tidal Plant is hard as hell. All Sonic stages under the water are. I hate them.
honestly this is the sonic equivalent of super mario land 2
This game is my childhood! :3
They sure don't make sonic games like they use to huh, at least to this day they are here and better than ever.
Why did Knuckles get tricked into working for Eggman again? Also I remember playing this ages ago. On my cousin's Game Gear.
Basically Sonic 3 but in the old times
This and chaos are like the lock on technology to sonic 3 and sonic mania
Am I the only one who discovered this game through the 3ds Eshop?
no
Other then Sonic fans around the time this came out that is probably the first time anyone discovered this game
