Do some cooking joe darling xx❤ make some bread and leave recipe in the description below 👍 what a great husband you are being able to do diy and bake. You’re a star. ❤
Joe, nice job on the bookshelves, especially using a hand saw. You were able to make some good progress on the To-Do list during Danni's absence (and she really likes the bookshelves!). Sorry to hear about hurting your back, that is surprisingly easy to do, especially as you get older. If you ice the pain area and allow your back to rest up immediately after the injury, it helps speed the healing. A TENS unit is also helpful. Keep up the fine work - Cheerio!
@@ItsOhJoe It's a device that generates a mild pulsating electrical shock. It uses 2 electrode sticky pads you place on both sides of the pain area. The TENS device usually runs on a 9 volt transistor radio battery. When turned on, you can adjust the pulsating shock intensity, which runs about 20 minutes. The effect is similar to a massage; it reduces pain, relaxes the muscle, and speeds healing.
Hi guys, wow Joe you did a good job mate good to see Danni home keep up the good work. Really appreciate you both, Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺👨🏻🦽

Great video, shelves look amazing! I sympathise with you Joe, I pulled my back out last week standing up after fastening my shoe laces, in agony all week, thank goodness for Ibruprofen and paracetamol 👍👍👍
Awww well done Joe Danni should be so pleased with you not all list done but you got a lot crossed off luv to you both keep safe warm and well the oldies xx🤗🤗👍🌟
That looked like the Slough arm when you 1st turned around, I use to be moored at the willow tree marina on the Paddington arm, know the bulls Bridge area well. Your videos always leave me with a smile on my face so thanks for that guys ❤
Great work Joe, storage/book case looks really good & very useful. Over 1/2 the to-dos are done & Danni looked well pleased with your jobs. Hope the back heals soon (I suffer myself, so know what you’re going through fella😫). Looking forward to the next vid, as always!👍🏻👌🏻
Excellent idea to use magnets on the pink cupboard for a latch 😉😉 Nice video, you're very well disciplined Jo when it comes to doing chores when Danni is away
Hello Dani & Joe, finally I've subscibed to your vlog, although I've watched you for ever hahhaha. Love this episode because of all your jobs on the boat. Crazy, but women love that kind of thing. Also like your journeys you go on. Take care xxx Anna from Verona.
Fantastic job on the book shelf and bathroom storage unit. Good choice on using the tongue and groove timber, Joe. You both are a lovely couple. All the best and take care
Have just found your podcast and ❤ it! I have been catching up on all of your podcasts when I can and have enjoyed every one so far. Thank you for letting us watch your daily life, I imagine it can't be easy but from my point of view it has given me some insight into the highs and lows of narrowboat life. I love the fact that you barely had any experience when you first started and it has been amazing watching you both grow. Thank you, keep doing what you are doing ❤
So glad I happened across your channel! You are both a breath of fresh air. Hope your back gets better soon Joe. Love the bookcase & shelf in the bathroom. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in your next video. 😊 Take care & have a great week! xx 💕🇨🇦
Suitcase Generator way to go. I have had a Honda for 5 years now. Used a lot in winter in my Van, Narrowboat and on my small holding. Rarely used in summer. Works out cheaper than the Grid. Essential bit of kit for me.
I would’ve liked a Honda, was a mix of budget/nowhere in stock local so went with a screwfix special but touch wood it’s working fine, will upgrade in the future to a Honda that’ll probably outlive me!
You did a great job Joe with the DIY. Love watching your vids we think ya both brilliant. Congrats on getting over 20k subscribers, defo deserved ❤😊👍😁 xxxxxxxx
"Home Alone 3, Moored up in Hayes" haha. Starring Joe as Macaulay Culkin. That would have been a great video with the boat all booby-trapped against the marauding hoodlums of NW London.😂
There about 30 branches of selco in london i used to work at there Portsmouth branch and did some training in couple of london branches aswell as Southampton
Quite the “handyman”! Always look forward to your videos. Hope your back is better! I never realized how much my back was involved in every movement I made until I hurt it. Hope you get better soon !!
Another great video Joe and I am sure Danni will be thrilled with the shelving you have made . Do you have a permanent morning for your boat that you go back to after your touring . Love the pantry in the floor very original. Jobs well done Joe .
Thank you! No we don’t have a bass, just CC’ing so moving every two weeks at the very least. We’ve had a few over the years when it helps with work etc but at the minute enjoying cruising!
Wee we tend to aim for an Elsan/chemical toilet drop off although we’re told you can tip it outside as long as a certain distance from paths and what-not (as it’s wee only and no added chemicals), no.2’s we try and use public toilets/supermarkets if we can but otherwise once it’s full (quite rarely) we’ll try and find a suitable bin
@@ItsOhJoe Thanks Joe, that's pretty much what I do too. Wee into the grasses far away from streams and water sources. The dried #2 compost, mixed with pine chips goes into a bin. Where did you get the little wee level alarm. I need one. Tired of opening up through the night to visually check the level. Thanks, keep on cruising. Love your vlogs.
How do you guys keep you books safe? In my boat I have dripping condensation from the ceiling above the bed. And the rest of it is kinda make my books wavy… 😅

I’ve almost caught up, starting from when you first got the boat ❤
It goes back quite a way 😂😂

Yes I’ll add the recipe next time! Thank you!
You know something ….there actually is a handy man Joe after all … I’ve taken back everything I thought you wasn’t ….😮 well done my friend 👍
How’d you think we built the boat? 😫😂
I'm obsessed with your videos my favourite you tubers... Hopefully see you on the cut once my house sells

I also use a tens machine for my arthritis, the one I have pushes out 148 Pulses a second. Wouldn't be without it.
@@dalewatson7982 Agreed!
Thanks Bill! Haven’t heard of TENS machines I’ll have a look!

It doesn't take much to get your back out of joint, to say. A friend of mines boss bent over to pick up a pencil, and he couldn't stand back up.

No I brought the pub to me though, couple cans of Guinness hit the spot after a bit of labour 😂
What phone booster was in window? Any good? Link please.
It's a slightly older model to this - amzn.to/48J7WNk - just runs off a phone sim!
How do you guys keep you books safe?

Those back spasms are a drag, might need potassium and/or magnesium!
Ooh I’ll have a look we’ve already got some magnesium supplements! Thank you
D'you like bean-bag chairs to relax in ? With pillows ? Or is that too low ? Oh no, wait a minute, your back. That might not work
why do you have to keep moving the boat?
We don't have a home mooring, so have to move every two weeks at-least due to our license (called a 'continuous cruising license')
Why don't you use your solar panels to charge?
No sun = no power
Yeah they bring in virtually nothing over winter. We’ve had 680w up there plugged in for 2 years now
Get to working.
