Nintendo originally started out as a company that made playing cards in 1889 here in Kagiyacho Kyoto, and was founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi. And this very building was Nintendo’s first ever office headquarters, which was in full operation until 1959 when Nintendo finally outgrew the office and moved to a larger space. Unoccupied until now, it’s been transformed into a hotel and named after one of the company names Nintendo used in its past, Marufukuro. With 18 rooms including 7 suites, it preserves many of the former offices interior and design. This time, I brought the fam, Maiko and Wolfy and since it's an all-inclusive hotel, meaning food and drinks are provided for the entire stay, we’re gonna take it a bit easier than usual, slow it down, enjoy the place, and relax. It’s so good that Wolfie is now feeling ok. Paolo and Chris are fast becoming the go to creator for promoting Japanese tourism. 💕 But seeing the food at the restaurant- smaller than your typical Japanese meal- you know it’s expensive.

I am amazed at how well they can deal with a toddler at the hotel. The staff is so well trained. Plus Wolfie is adorable.

It really is crazy how little the portions are, but that could be simply because it's a fancier place idk
@@1Rab or with seafood/shellfish allergy. I know being vegan is a higher restriction in physical options since its allergy I cannot trust anything food is made in.

Wow! Sounds like the hotel that was once the Nintendo HQ office was a great place to stay! I like how kid friendly it is too with bringing up a stroller for Wolfy. Wolfy is so adorable at almost 2 years old running around like that and having fun!

One thing I love about seeing all these different things in Japan is definitely the places. I’m huge into architecture. Things my friends would see as just buildings mean so much more for me. Not just in Japan either. New York is a place I love as well. I’ve sadly never been to New York or Japan but it’s channels like yours that show me these places I really enjoy! Hopefully one day I can visit these places but until then seeing them in videos is great!
London has better architecture than New york.

I fondly remember the 2 to 3 years old phases. It just gets better. Even when my son pushes me away and just wants to do what he wants to do, it warms my heart since he is becoming his own man.
