The way you and Maiko love seeing Wolfy filled with joy and happiness makes this old woman happy. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Japan is my dream.
I swear I remember watching the video of his wife's first or 2nd day home after Wolfies birth and the audio on the video accidently picked up saying something to the effect of "my butt hurts!" I laughed so hard...and related so much.
The Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel heads are having talks while you are reading this about their growth in Australia and in Asia. Exterminating The Yakusa presence and their activities in the country would be considerably profitable for the Hells Angels, the Comanchero motorcycle club and the Aussie Cartel. The goal is to initiate their expansion over the Yakusa in Australia and to push it as far as in Japan. According to their plans, they are and will be supported by the Sinaloa Cartel for a part of the gains obtained and it would be done by the end of 2023. They told their mens to prioritize the capture, mostly for torture and interrogation before killing and for selling but to kill right away if they can not capture. This is what members having close ties with Hells Angels chapter leaders are talking about. Some members of the Hells Angels and of the Sinaloa Cartel had already start moving to Australia. The mens had been told to get the job done by any means, even by mass killing if needed. If you are directly involved let your comrades know so you can be prepared for what is happening before it is too late to prevent the bloodbath and your fall!
For people who don't realize, Maiko's sister was the woman in Paolo's "Day In The Life of a Japanese Car Repair Worker in Toyota" from a few years ago!
Japan's culture around children is so enjoyable to learn about - children are clearly treasures to everyone, not just Wolfy to his family - but you can see many families allowing their young ones to be curious and expressive throughout the vlog. There were other little kids dancing in the izakaya and just being kids. Grandma was so loving even when having a truck driven on her. Being patient with the new shoe-learner and letting him be proud of a new skill instead of rushing and just doing for him and depriving him of self-efficacy. Little treasures.
My son just married his Japanese sweetheart. I can’t wait to meet her. He’s been oversees for 8 years. I’m beyond happy to have a new Daughter and two precious grandchildren that my Son is adopting. Saving all my Pennie’s to fly over and see everyone. I’m getting exciting watching your videos.
This was a perfect holiday because Wolfie was full of sparkle. It doesnt matter the glitches you experienced. It was all about making lasting memories with your son. It was well worth it! Welldone
I lived in Okinawa when I was 12-15 years old, and I loved it. Then I joined the Marines where I was lucky enough to be deployed there for 6months. Eventually I was stationed there with my family. Loved every bit of it. The people and the culture is so nice and beautiful.
everywhere is jammed packed with tourist post covid.huhu. as long as we can play outside and spend some time with the family i consider that an awesome vacation 🤣🤣🤣. glad wolfy got to spend quality time with his grandma and aunty.
Wolfy is an absolute delight. I'm not surprised that a lot of places are still recovering from Covid, it hurt so many businesses and industries. The place looks beautiful.
Wolfy is so adorable. I'm glad you guys at least had some time together, sucks grandpa couldn't join. Hopefully he can in the winter. It was nice to see wolfy exploring new things while meeting his Auntie and grandma.
Okinawa seems like a refreshingly beautiful place. It seems very tranquil and unique. This is a perfect getaway destination for families yearning for extensive escapism.
Yeap, only good for a visit. It gets very boring here. It is really just a Japanese/American military base island, and by that I mean there are literally at least 10 bases on this small island.
Yes at the end of the day, all that matters is you've spent time and made great memories with your loved ones. Thank you for sharing your family and Wolfy's first memories and experiences with us! He's growing up in such an adventurous and loved environment.
Your son is so adorable. It shows you’re both great parents by the big smile on his face all the time and his eager curiosity. Blessings to you and your family ❤
Loved my time in the 70's when I was stationed in Okinawa. Love the Okinawan people. That big smile on Wolfy's face says it all. Looks like a good time was had by all. Beautiful Island.
My dad was stationed there around the end of the Vietnam War. He got injured in battle at one point and was sent to Okinawa for recovery. He ended up taking kendo lessons cause you get an authentic sword made by a really well known sword blacksmith upon graduating as a black belt and yes he achieved that.
Okinawa is really like hawaii. Hawaii does have a lot of Okinawan residents from plantation days. Pictures brides. My husband is 3rd generation Okinawan japanese.
This was so nice! Wolfy was so cute dancing at the restaurant. 🥰 He seemed to really have a good time with the turtles and the fish. I’m so glad that you guys were able to spend time together as a family in such beautiful surroundings. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it.😊
Looks like a lot of fun, Paolo! “ Okinawa with in-laws” is something I can relate to personally. 😃 We did the same thing a couple of years back, when my daughter was around Wolfie’s age. We went there with my wife’s parents, and rented a house for a couple of days on Ishigaki Island. (It actually cost less than all of us staying in a hotel.) We had a fantastic time. Okinawa is one of my favorite places in the world. Beautiful, safe, and definitely family friendly - especially if you’re staying on one of the southern islands. And seriously, for anyone planning on travelling there with a larger group or small kids, definitely look into renting a house. Less expensive than you would think, and a seriously relaxing and low-stress option. 🍻
Aww that was so awesome! Glad you guys had such a fun time on Okinawa. From all the traveling I have done, only one time was the room not ready; check in was 4pm and we got there at 5:30pm. I was running in a marathon the next day, and the booths closed at 6pm to get your racing numbers and shop for some merch. At 5:45pm the room still wasn’t ready, so we left our bags with the hotel staff and literally ran over to the centre to get my race stuff. By the time we got back at 6:10pm, our room still wasn’t ready. We were a little upset, but then one of the managers saw us and asked “wait, didn’t you arrive at 5:30pm and your room still isn’t ready?” So she took us, and upgraded our room to one that over looked the river. Also we got discount vouchers for the restaurant upstairs on the top floor.
Looked like a great holiday and seemed to be a cordial relationship with the In-laws, unless I missed something? The Japanese do things so nicely. Cheers from NZ!
I absolutely love your videos! Usually, I enjoy your "A day in the life of..." format, but this one is so refreshing and calming. Now I want to make a holiday trip to Okinawa! 😂Your videos are the main reason I am currently trying to learn japanese. The culture is just so heart warming but at the same time reasonably disciplined. Thank you so much for your content! You sir, are one of my favorite youtube content creators!!!
I realized while watching the video that your in-laws were apart of one of your Day In the life videos and it suddenly made more things make sense. Very cool that you have videos with your family like that. Your kiddo is so adorable too, looks like such a happy kid!
I normally don't enjoy watching other youtube's vlogs but this video and your entire channel is so wholesome and full of genuine appreciation and love for your family and life. Thank you for creating this content.
Twenty years ago we were in Okinawa station military Base camp foster...I love Japanese food and I like the sunset in Okinawa Japan..futima ,camp foster and air force base there ...
This looks like such an amazing little holiday! Your doing so amazing mum and dad. Wolfy is a lucky little boy. Hes so gorgeous!! We miss Japan so much. Would love to take our little boy, almost same age as Wolfy, to Japan - Okinawa. Your both doing such an amazing job, be gentle on yourselves. We have had grandmothers and Aunties that have met our little boy only recently. .... We know the feeling... very emotional!! Thank you so much for the amazing content. Have watched every single one of your videos. Lots of Loves! - The Hunts from Auckland, New Zealand. xxx
Wow... what a trip down memory lane. Same hotel/resort but 15 years ago - my son exactly the same age as your son, same restaurants, coral boat, dolphins... but it was fully staffed and a bit more "prestigious" then I think... thanks for posting.
Seeing Wolfy with his aunt and grandma made me so happy and reminded me of my summers with my family. My entire family (including all aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins) would go for summer trips to the family ranch in Mexico and have a blast. Those moments are the best
I remember always watching you last year. I would either stay up or wake up around 2-4am and watch you while eating last night's dinner, or anything in the pantry. I would then go to school tired but always happy after watching your videos because of how much you were outside. I consider myself a half in half shut-in. I stay in bed on weekends and after school. I am too lazy to do pretty much anything. The only thing that motivated me were your videos. Now I'm in my 4th year of high school and have exams to finish, so I haven't been watching this channel much. I am going to continue to work on myself and plan to move to Kyoto to work with some relatives and hope to be able to go to Tokyo in hopes to meet you. You have inspired me to do other things and I want to thank you in person. I know this comment sounds cheesy but I just wanted to thank you. I hope to be able to see you.
The car rental situation is exactly what happened here in Hawaii. During the lockdown and travel restrictions, there were thousands of unused rental cars parked in fields and lots. Many of them were eventually shipped off island. Then when tourism came back, there weren't enough rental cars, so rental prices were sky high. It's since stabilized since more cars were shipped in.
Watch you often I live in Montreal Canada and I love your videos of different things in Japan and the lifestyle. This was a very sweet video with your in-laws great resort beautiful place to visit. Thanks for all your videos.
Thank you for sharing your family adventures with us. Celebrating differences while proving people around the world wish to share kindness and friendship. If only governments would stay out of our way.
I am super happy that you tried to be understanding about the problems they have with staffing. This is a big problem for many companies after the Covid shutdowns. It is like they are rebuilding the businesses all over again.
Teared up a little bit at the end when Wolfy was missing his aunt and grandma. He clearly loves them so much. Hopefully he will get to see them again soon!
Thanks for sharing! I remember trips like this with my kids and extended family a long time ago... and it was a privilege raising them. Now they are all grown and think they know everything about the world. Again salamat pare.
Great place for family’s to meet and holiday together. Covid has affected a lot of business so as customers/users a little relaxed attitude is nice. Also businesses need to be open about the problems and do the best they can. Lovely video. It looked a great venue for disabled tourists.
Paolo! (Had to repost this in case you missed it on the other video comment.) Thank you so much for sharing this! I love your channel! It’s one of my top youtube channels (or more like the first favorite of my list)! Your channel videos are always so fresh and inviting! They always get my attention and they make me happy. They were a great reference when I went to Japan myself and were also a bright light during the darkness of the initial Covid pandemic. A big thank you to you and Maiko from this So Cal fan!
The dresses of your wife, her sister and her mom at the aquarium restaurant were very pretty! The shorts grandma made Wolfie are adorable and look like a tailor sewed them.
Paolo, I just want to say I appreciate the work and diligence you put into your videos. Love your content, I can see the effort you put into making high quality videos. Take care man!
Wolfie is getting that vlogger closing scene down at an early age XD , soon the channel is going to rename to Wolfie fromTOKYO hehe. Glad you all had a fun safe vacation. Even Hawaii took big hits to tourism from Japan. We were down 99.9% from Japan and even with the slight easing over time it moved to 95% reduction which is still miserable numbers for Hawaii. Hopefully with the full opening on October 11th then it will slowly go down from 95% to 80% and so forth since staffing is a huge issue here too. Sometimes at my restaurant we only have 6 people total trying to serve volume where you need 15-20 people. Some people are so rude too when they know you are short staffed. Can't wait to visit Japan in October. Got my ANA flight booked. Aloha.
Enjoy every minute of this time in your son's life, it goes by all too quickly. Sure enough, nothing particularly deep in those words, but my goodness they are so true. I hope the best for your lovely family.
Bro ty Paolo for this hella miss my family time with my cousins and Wolfie making want to see my little cousins and neices and nephews. So hard to find good quality time with the ones you love so when you do you treasure them. TY again for sharing your experience.
You little son is so cute, lol. It is so nice to see parents being responsible for the welfare and happiness of their children. Thank you for sharing this video of beautiful Okinawa where my American husband and I will homebase in a few yrs fr now.
I love when Wolfy speaks Japanese! And my littlest nephew is obsessed with turtles, too. Any time we go to any kind of zoo, we have to see the turtles first and last. :)
CRAZY! I'm going to the same Renaissance Resort in Okinawa for a week starting on Oct10th. I'm traveling with with Japanese wife and kids (both under 6). I got the Club Savy package.. How would you rate it all? What activities was Wolfie excluded from? I want to get 'the swim with dolphin' package as well but my kids are too small to swim with them according to their website.

Honestly that is good parenting no matter what country or culture you are a member of
It's a real worry for Japan, there's just not enough children being born or young Japanese who want to start families.
This might also come from how past generations had higher infant mortalites than the current generations.

It's fantastic to hear Japan is lifting those ridiculous restrictions. I love visiting Japan and am looking forward to bike camping there next year.
Thanks for giving us a chance to see your family life.
see u soon Paolo-San!! finally borders are open woop!!
wolfy is so precious, you and Maiko are GRETA Parent's. Glad I found this channel 2 year's ago. It's been special to watch you grow and Learn

Paolo: I wonder where he gets that from
Wolfy: *I GET IT FROM MY DADDY* _swinging legs and arms aggressively_
You little son is so cute, lol. It is so nice to see parents being responsible for the welfare and happiness of their children. Thank you for sharing this video of beautiful Okinawa where my American husband and I will homebase in a few yrs fr now.
@15:30 Son is trying to act just like dad in front of girls! So cute that had me laughing hard.

He is so cute I enjoy all your videos Paolo... You really bring the best of your world and Japan.
I love when Wolfy speaks Japanese! And my littlest nephew is obsessed with turtles, too. Any time we go to any kind of zoo, we have to see the turtles first and last. :)
Thank you for sharing your vacation with us... I enjoyed it very much. feel free to post more family videos... they are very enjoyable.
