Would love to see the gingham shirt transformation when you can fit it in your busy schedule Janelle. Amazing op shop haul - sometimes luck, a good search, and a creative imagination is so worth it and you have all 3 in spades! 🌷
The smaller tablecloths are actually supper cloths. I have some that were embroidered by my grandmother and others by my great aunt. Matching serviettes of course! I’ll never part with them.
I'd really love to see a full wardrobe tour! I love the videos you make each season of things you've made, so it would be lovely to see your whole collection of clothes together
The navy/orange dress is gorgeous. It looks really lovely on you. Lucky find. I also love the first fabric. Gosh, i would love to go thrifting with you. Such a good eye for treasures. That last dress, navy/cream... beautiful. This will an interesting alteration to watch.
I went into a junk shop here in England down in Devon while on holiday, and found a 6ft mirror on a stand that looked French inspired for only £45...bargain, it now has pride of place in my bedroom x x
What a lucky trip ! I wish I had cool thrift stores like those around me but the few ones there is never have good fabric and almost never great items of clothing 😪. Keep thrifting for frustrated people, like me please 😅
Amazing finds! So excited to see the gingham shirt transformation...what will it be? A two piece set that you could wear separately? I really liked the homemade dress layered over your striped turtleneck! So cute.
Janelle, love your videos! Do you do a sniff test when you thrift for if something comes from a smoker’s home for example? And if an item does smell do you wash it a certain way or just not buy it? Thanks!
What a loot! The first fabric 's colour( the greyish brown one) is called French Grey. If I were you I wouldn't alter the jumpsuit. It really suited you! My fav item from this haul. Besides the jacket along with the peachy dress is kinda nice too and has got a lot of potential, you could style it with the last cinnamon pair of jeans from the video dor example. 🤗 curious 2 see how you will thrift flip the gingham fabric.😘
I hope you make a video making the pattern you bought, I have really been wanting to make a blouse like that lately! The Hoxton blouse from petite French (i think) is the closest I can find.
Love it every time you do one of these videos and today’s was really full of amazing finds. I think the navy dresses were my favourite but I’m looking forward to see what you do with the gingham shirt also.
About once or twice a year a go through my wardrobe and donate what I no longer wear to charity. Once I walked past someone wearing a dress I made (that I donated) which was pretty cool 😊
Hi Janelle, I see the 1st vintage tablecloth as being an off-the-shoulder peasant blouse! Maybe with a tassel tie? I also loved the blue fabric with pink rose dress. Possibly you might prefer a little lace in the low neck? Proud of you and your product, regards Susan
Amazing finds Janelle, all of them - but please tell me you went back for the wicker pear basket??! My op shopper's heart is dying with suspense over here in NZ!
I had to go to Launceston a few weeks ago and I called into the big Op Shop that has the Cafe in the middle. The kids didn't believe me so I took them there. I'd love to check out a few more in the future, do you mind telling me which ones are your favourites?
Love those vintage tablecloths, especially the first print. The navy blue crepe print was nice, the hand made dress was really cute.
Love the tablecloths! So cute!
You pick such beautiful fabric colors. Love this colors👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💕
The peach and green sheet, I can just imagine it in a 50’s style playsuit. I know it’s not your style but I think it would just be so cute

I look forward to seeing the transformations from your purchases. 😍
I love the combo of your stripe shirt and those rust pants.
You look so cute and cozy in your jumper! It’s been upwards of 90 degrees (32 c) here and it’s *almost* making me miss cooler weather.

I’m so glad you took us with you thrift shopping, I’m in lockdown in Sydney and missing it so much!
What great finds. The handmade dress reminds me a bit of the Hazel dress.
I love thrifting too! Usually go for bone china and retro style clothing. Really enjoy all your thrifting videos!
The navy/orange floral dress could be really cute layered with the stripe top you have on 🤗💕

I find vintage tea towels and doilies particularly beautiful to make collars, yokes or pocket details out of :) Lovely finds!
Loved this Janelle!! obSESSEd with that PVC table cloth pattern haha
Seriously regretting not getting that one too!
I hope you do a video using the pink floral fabric.
The mint material with the pink flowers is like Catherine kitson which I very popular in the uk. Look it up. Lots of love. Barb X (from the UK).
I can’t wait to see what you do with the beige jump suit and the men’s dress shirt!
Can't wait to see what you do with the men's shirt!

Indeed, the first print was my fav.
Amazing finds! So excited to see the gingham shirt transformation...what will it be? A two piece set that you could wear separately? I really liked the homemade dress layered over your striped turtleneck! So cute.
I have that floral doona cover. It's Charlie Brown. I bought it nearly 20 years ago and still love it.

Not sewing related but my daughter had a brilliant find today. Louis Vuitton boots! Cheap as chips and excellent condition too.
I hope you make a video making the pattern you bought, I have really been wanting to make a blouse like that lately! The Hoxton blouse from petite French (i think) is the closest I can find.
You'll be hard pressed to find vintage things in the op shops around me - they're full of fast fashion 😦
Yes here to I rarely find good stuff and the prices seem to have shot up I don't know why soon it'll be cheaper to buy new.
You hit the jacpot 👌
In Spain it's "expensive" to buy in trifht store and near me there aren't fabrics, patterns. It's amazing how many things do you find!!!🤩🤩🤩
A lot of people say this.. I feel lucky to have so many amazing (and affordable) thrift stores near me!
Love trusty pants
Loved all your finds. Can't wait to see what you do with them! Table cloths were totally a great find and super bargain... 🤪😘

Can't wait to see what you make. Do you keep all the clothes you make?
About once or twice a year a go through my wardrobe and donate what I no longer wear to charity. Once I walked past someone wearing a dress I made (that I donated) which was pretty cool 😊
I am literally wearing those same jeans in black right now! Good pick - they are so comfy and I absolutely live in them ♥️
Ooh good to hear 😍
Good haul today! I'm not a fan of jumpers, but that one you found looks so cute in you. I would keep it as is.
Such a good haul! Looking forward to your thrift flip videos 😇

Great finds well done, I just finished my wrap skirt today (except the buttonhole) I made it a middi length
I'm imagining the duvet floral cover as a long full skirt with a bow tie at waist with a pink bodysuit
I love the jumpsuit on you, I hope you keep it as a jumpsuit :)
Amazing finds Janelle, all of them - but please tell me you went back for the wicker pear basket??! My op shopper's heart is dying with suspense over here in NZ!
What do you use the tablecloths for? I have seen lovely ones before but I’m not sure what to make with them!
What great finds. I must check out some thrift shops here in the states.

Yes, that one is one of my favourites! I shared a list of some of my other faves in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/4LpYpX08ZdM/v-deo.html 😊
@@RoseryApparel thank you :)
how do you know when something is vintage or antique or simply an older 2nd hand item?
I think officially something is vintage if it’s at least older than 20 years and antique is more like 100 years old 😊
That pillow case. When I saw that I was like, didn’t she make that herself? 🤔😂
Janelle uploads. I click.
