    🎯 Major score. Hard to pick a fave out of all that. Impressive fabric stash @ bargain basement prices too.
    💟Love gingham and buffalo check too. Prefer them more in linens/curtains/upholstery/etc. vs clothing. Although I do have a tailored black & white gingham tunic vest. Also two suits I bought in the 90s (linen/lined blazer & above the knee pencil skirt) in a big buffalo pattern. One suit in pale pink & white while the other in taupe & white. The latter seems to color match to your brand new fabric...
    😉Those thrifted dresses look darling on you👍. 🌸Fresh, floral, flirty, and ultra feminine. (⏳With an hour glass figure, always preferred fabrics like rayon and stretch jersey knit that softly drape. Also tops, dresses, skirts & pants you can cinch in easily @ the waist w/a drawstring or sash.)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    🤗Can I just say that your wardrobe color palette is remarkably PERFECT for your complexion and light hair. You look so stunning in earthy warm, muted tones. 💕Love how your solid color pieces coordinate so wonderfully well together too.
    💞 Adore your preference for tiny floral prarie patterns, ruffles, pretty yoking & pouf sleeves too. Unfortunately, I can't carry any of that off. Feel utterly absurd in anything remotely boho. 😆Tiny, busy pattern, esp. w/any flounce makes me feel far too 👼girlish or granny👵.
    Also 💕love how you frequently pair ultra flirty dresses w/sneakers. Like sporty|casual mixed with feminine dresses or even more tailored looks😁.
    Once I needed to thrift flip a dress and I needed white fabric. I pulled out all the sheets and linens I had thrifted and only one color of white was the right weight and matched the dress. There was at least 10 white thrifted items. So I know that a slightly different weight and color makes a huge difference. My white dress is stunning now! I fully support thrifted fabrics! You did great! (I mean, no one can beat Los Angeles for thrifting because there is so so much and cheap as chips!) but you did great!
    What a haul! I'm so jealous - the charity shops in my town are tiny and full of fast fashion and ratty paperbacks. If I'm lucky I can find a plain cotton tablecloth once in a blue moon!
    The jumpsuit fabric is amaaazing - I could see it as more of a shorter culotte style jumpsuit, and you could refashion the excess material into a better top half, maybe a shirred strapless top or something like the bodice from the Hazel dress?
    I also 100% think you should wear the pink set out and about, it looks chic af.
    You should turn the granny nightgown into like a cute two piece set, like a fitted top and a skirt or something like that. I wish we had such good selections of fabric where I live, every time I go the fabric and linens areas are always empty.
    love what you got!! I would be inclined to turn the brown fabric into a short jacket. It should go well with some of your other items
    OMG!!! When you put the brown fabric you got opshopping close to your face. WOW this is definitely your colour. I live in Australia also and it is such a welcome to find your videos. Where abouts do you live. I ask because I would like to try the opshops you go to. Wonderful to see you. You are a welcoming sight. Thank you.
    I found a beautiful demon jacket from America in my local op shop for $6! I always get asked about it when I wear it. Also, my favourite skirt ever is from the op shop and it cost me $4. I love the recycling aspect of op shopping.
    The M&S dress probably made it to Tassie with a fruitpicker! (Brit here, spent time in Cygnet,TAS picking apples for my second year visa, it was gorgeous.)
    I think the nightie would be super cute as a set, maybe wide leg pants and a long sleeve top?
    You found so many amazing things, it's hard to pick a favorite! I think I like that moomoo (floral grannie night dress) and the eucalyptus green dress the best! I'm super excited to see what you end up making with all this fabric, or maybe we'll see some of it included in kits!?
    I am obsessed with those men's shorts and shirt together! I wish I could pull off an outfit like that, haha! Do you have any thrift/sewing Instagrammers you'd recommend following? I'm getting back into sewing myself and I'm always looking for new inspiration.
    The pink "sheet" is a dust ruffle I believe. It is meant to go under the mattress and cover the beds box spring and bed base.
    I actually went op shopping earlier in the week now that Victoria is opening up a bit more! I wasn't nearly as lucky, but I did also buy a LOT of gingham, which I don't normally do hahaha..! Also, can I just say that it makes me so happy to see other people rave about The Fabric Store, I can't wait to go into the Melbourne store this week
