Eivior is a goddes, thumbs up if you think I am right!
She looks so cosy and hugable :-)
Wow... Her Danish is so good.
She is as gorgeous as her voice! Such a wonderful and beautiful woman! :)
What a beauty!
It's so wonderful to see how wonderful being she is and so down to earth ❤
I was at this church performance, have some footage myself. it was amazing. Thanks for uploading this
Survive the Jive can you post it on your channel brother
OHHHH! i follow your channel! hahaha!
Jive himself ! So that's where you get your inspiration.
StJ 10 years ago lmao. Btw you probably know this but she's speaking Danish here right?
Wow! Didn't expect to find you here! Cheers, my dear pagan brother.. Pagan - ism path
Even though I don't understand a single word, I can't stop watching.
She is very amazing
Same
i watched the whole interview even not knowing a single word of danish.
It's Faroese
@@shaunpierce4174 Nope. She speaks Danish in the interview.
There are subs.
@@EDDIE.EDDISON You "can" almost 😊 - half of the basic words in Danish are similar to their English counterparts, the word order is the same most of the time, and there are no cases for nouns and their articles - just as in English - and so on.
Vi [ve] ha(ve)r mange af de samme (w)ord(s), så [soa] en Engelsk-tal(k)ende person kan ofte se hvad deres mening er [air].
We have many ( OE monege ! ) of the same words, så en English-speaking ( -talking) person can often see what their(s) meaning "are".
Hav en god dag [day(gh)] 🤗
I didn't understand what she said but, she's so mesmerizing, mysterious and beautiful.
What a beautiful woman, from a wondrous country
I want to paint her a picture so good she hangs it on her wall and takes it with her if she moves house... I dont even paint
Hahaha, this is the best comment ever.
@@DivineMadne55 I still feel the same way to this day
@@jefflamb2301 I understand completely 🫀
Eivor is amazing. Eivor is wonderful...Thank you for sharing.
What an angel
Every day i listen to her voice..
She speaks it much nicer than most Danes these days -
we really should follow her example ;-)
whats the difference? :)
@@Hitori-h9g You would need to be a native to appreciate it 😅
Bjowolf2 lort...
i live 1 house away from eivør
Don't know what she was saying...I just loved listening to her and looking at her!
I believe I have a new task on my list of things to do......
Wow what an incredible voice !
Í fyrsta skipti skil ég Dönsku :) Eivør er mögnuð *
It's as if we know half of basic E already and "only" have to expand on it instead of learning a completely "foreign" language from scratch.
For inst.:
Shall I sing a song for you (thee)?
Lad os [us] gå [go] ud nu [noo] =
Let us go out now
There are many people here now, so we can begin.
Vil du sende mig fine ting fra England? =
Will you (thou) send me fine things from England?
Turn the CC subtitles on and the fun begins
Evør tú ert fantastisk!
Shes quite good at danish.
Danskan virðist ekki eins ljót er Eivör talar :)
She is such an interesting artist!
Thank you!
Normally she would (probably) be speaking Faroese, which is related
but more towards Icelandic & some old Norwegian dialects.
We in DK can just pic up some words here and there, if we listen hard ;-)
Well, act. Danish ( + Swe. & Norw. ) is much closer to E than G in many ways - both with respect to simple vocabulary and the grammar, although some words are sim. to G as well.
E is much easier to pick up for us than G with its complex grammar - in E we don't have to think nearly as much ;-)
Probably the most beautiful woman alive !
Norse Goddess.
la amo
@Retarior
She is an elf goddess.
😍
She isn't - they speak both languages up there, and this was done for some Danish TV station, it seems.
Nice, thanx 4 the video
@SuperSoupysoup
Not an Elf goddess, she is Valkyrie xD.
What's her background? She doesn't look like Danish at all.
@hansmikkelsen lucky you! :)
Hol' up, is this in Danish? I don't speak it but it sounds like Danish. Or does Faroese sound Danish when spoken?
It's danish. They learn it in school from young as a second language. Faroese is distinctivly differnt sounding (sounds more similar to Icelandic)
what song she sings?
Cant believe this woman speaking danish right now is the voice of Faye from God of war!
this little village is the place i nee to be at
She is speaking danish.
Is this swedish?
i know she sings about the viking believes but i saw some Christian images behind her!
@heretic762 It is Danish, a North Germanic language. :)
bufado con eivor........cuandoviene a monterrey
o m g
nei hu er fra færeium og islandi.
I have hoped she would talk færøysk so i could see how close danish snd faroese sounds, yet soooo different
Eivør is talented when it comes to speak different languages, she has a good danish accent while many people in Faroe Island and Iceland have difficulties with the Dansih sounds even they have had Danish in school. Danish and Faroese sounds quite different. Faroese sounds like a hybrid between Icelandic and Norwegian west coast accent. People in Faroe Islands often sounds like speaking a west coast Norwegian accent when they speak in Danish.
@@Rimrock300 it's really cool... jeg elsker færøyerne
No, it does not - please don't insult us ;-)
does she speak EVERY scandi language or what
Faroe, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish.. NOT Finnish, its very different.
Yeah, finnish is not related to those 5! is not even germanic!
@@JamesSmith-mt4vw Finnish is so similar to Turkish. Fun fact they're in the same language family.
@@mus7681 No
@@abbyh1312 actually, yes. They are in the same language family. They are both agglutinating languages. And they share history (take a look at middle asia history) but after the 16th century Finnish started to take it's own part and ural-fin language was made.
IM SO JEALOUS OF YOU
What language is that?...sounds similar to German
Every woman is a goddess
hoss00100 I disagree😲
Are you sure that she is not speaking Faroese?
Its Danish. Faroese sounds way different.
CC : "The scanners hope health because the toxic is in Caspian Sea ! ... I see
*Eivør
i thought she was Icelandic
Oh my :-D, where are you from?
Mmm let me guess, is it USA?
Retarior she is from the Faroe Islands. Where this is filmed.
@@KatJaguar1122
That I know. I didnt ask for the Singer Eivor ;-) ...
Mín femmngur
Yes, we are sure that she does not speak Faroese.
@BannerLee
She is speaking Danish here but she absolutely speaks Faroese
Huldra måtte si Nei.
You guys need educations hardcore time :) funny though
Danish? Is she Danish?
Yeah, she's Faroese but, as with all native Faroese, Danish is her second language as it's also an official language.
With such a beautiful voice and a presence so 'powerful', walking past her in Klaksvík quite a few years ago has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life...
