@K R I love bass. I wish metal would utilize it in a way where it’s a lot more noticeable. Idk maybe it’s impossible to do on the mix, I wouldn’t know. But like do you hear bass in metal like you would in jazz? Or even softer rock genres? Nahhh. No way man.

Song is so good its making me tear up in happiness, can't wait to hear it live

I've been a Gojira fan for quite a few years now and holy shit this song slaps hard. Good mix of new and old Gojira styles.
That harmonic breakdown was INSANE ! it has everything that was missing to Magma (just my opinion, even if Magma is still a great album)

@@northtimo666 Pray is a good track, but they released better tracks. Still, the live version is really solid and maybe the best track on the album. Anyway, Magma is still a top album, but I will rank it a bit below the rest.

There were a couple moments where his growls got deeper than what I would of normally expected, around 3:50. (4:15 on their official music video) Its so deep I thought it was the bass the first few times I heard it.

It's true that people don't buy physical copies as much as they did in the past but the ability to tour so much and selling insane amounts of merch is also attributed directly to their music. But yeah, from album sales alone? They definitely don't make that much.

Them opening with this song at the concert was great. The new songs are awesome live. The best way I can describe Gojira to someone. It's like, when you're learning martial arts. You got the bassist, the guitars, the drumming. They're all in tune for a forceful punch. Like using the whole body.

Hadn't really listened to Gojira that much leading up to seeing them on tour with Deftones last week, so I had no idea what to expect. When the curtain came up and they started playing this, I was like "broooooooo WHAT 😳🤘🏻" The whole set was fucking amazing. Definitely a fan of these guys now 🤘🏻

Saw them with Mastodon in NZ. None of the bands equipment showed up so our Opening bands and local music stores gave them instruments for the show and didn't play. But I believe they payed them for the show anyway. Was an amazing night.
