Even today, kids don't want to sleep alone untill we teach them otherwise. Anyway I'm glad they got that part about medival times right.

yes, it was often also an issue of warmth. Sure, you can make a fire, but fire requires tending and produces smoke. It's much better to just stack everyone together in one house and they will produce anough warmth for themselves. Farmhouses were often built in a way, that the living space was built on top of the barn so the family could benefit from the heat produced by the cattle
STOCKPILE TIP - - Ground holds only 1 tiles worth of Selected Stockpile per tile of Stockpile. But... You can increase that to 3 Tiles per 1 Tile-Space with SHELVES. However, Shelves do have limited items to be selected for storage. Mostly Raw Foods, Textiles, Meals, and Seeds.
2:10:45 So fun fact, in the middle ages room sharing was very common, in fact they often shared beds. Generally speaking if you had guests over you were supposed to quarter them in your own bedroom. yeah it depends how fine you want to go in with the detail right? I learn everytime I see one of these games. I love Cities Skylines and Sim City series. Not just because they're fun, but they're actually a benchmark. You know what it is right? You get some industrial zones, then you need residential right? Supply and demand simulators. It's just what do you want to focus on/ and maybe, more importantly, what can the game engine handle before it craps out? I think Cities Skylines must've pushed some limits with the processors. And I think that's kind of the goal here, to make a game push a game engine's limits and to see how far the game engine can go to deliver the best possible game.
I don't know if you'll ever try this game again but I found if you hold down left click and drag from where you want to start counting to the space you want you can just right click to cancel it. If that made any sense... but it helped my ocd a ton lol.
Hay and corn stalk beds are actually kinda nice. I'll take either of them over a pillow top soft mattress any day of the week. Just make sure you can kill the pests.

The sognal youre doing well is staggering him. You not realizing you had to flash him more than once initially probably added to your aggrevation. Bit you did well no hate, i agree any additional info would diminish the joy of victory. My problem with that level is the needing to scavenge for all your ammo during the fight. That was not a cool game mechanic. It was used a bit in the first game but it was always to grab soecific items not literally everything. 6 shots, then go look for ammo isnt fun and feels like forced anxiety that, while is kind of the point of horror games was so obvious it took me out. Okay that lightning effect was astounding as all get out! Also for the comment about low poly characters not having attachment......just add googly eyes........genius.
This actually reminds me a lot of Gnomoria, which is great. Always nice to see more df-lite games
Df-lite?
Dwarf Fortress lite
They're called colony management
It would be so awesome if they made a mod for this that added stuff like D&D races and have them like Dwarves that specialize in smithing and so on. They could even have the spells and everything to use.
this is my first colony game it's all thanks to your vids
When Amphibian starts with the dad jokes it means the game is good isnt that wild?
If you actually make it to Florida you might never leave us
11:04 I am sure you figured it out at some point. The number of floor/ceiling tiles a wall can support. :D pst Architecture
Better idea.. please let people map their own hot keys. Then you can set it to Rimworld's ones but they can avoid copying.
Going Medieval is the 3D version of Rim World. But without Mods from Players. 👍👍 I have over 1,400 Hours of game time in GM too. 💖🌟
Was I the only one who watched him count to 20 each time skipping a space and getting to 21. I feel like it mightve been on purpose but it got me more than the opposite side doors
Nice, I see more and more SpiffingBrit in your work
1:10:00 hold up there. It will do better than rimworld because its different? Nooo. Its because you cant get into rimworld without throwing like 40 dollars at it. It doesn't dip below "yeah I am ready to take a risk" line
Pawns are well known for being idiots who will attempt to get themselves killed in a variety of different ways, including (checks notes) "Marrying, and then divorcing a cyborg killing machine with bloodlust and a uranium mace."
Actually wait, I think he survived..
Then there was the guy who was hitting on someone else's wife.. and that someone else shot him in the back during the next raid. No mental break. He just saw an opportunity, and he took it. I didn't even know they did that.
They had to be separated. They sent her on a mission, traveling the world to kill all of the other factions.
The corner fence is literally right next to it!
If you put pillars you will be able to finish that roof or the second floor
Looking foward to see this. It has a stonehearth vibe to it.
It would be an amazing idea to open an AA, get a bunch of alcoholics and just show them your videos. I mean you have really convenient initials.
Devs must be thrilled to see the streamer covering the game and talking about other game constantly.
I'm sure they're happy to see their game covered either way.
Could be worse...Ever hear of sponsored game called Total Lockdown? 😁
Yeah... this really annoyed me, like rimworld doesnt have god damn monopoly of top down colony builders, Im pretty damn sure rimworld wasn't first either. If devs build on the idea and put their own twist to it, it becomes a whole new thing. Its actually very far form rimworld safe for the UI and general colony building idea, which again doesn't even come from rimworld to begin with. I expect better from him.
@@MegaSupernowa Rimworld is one of his most played games, and this game very clearly has some aspects directly inspired by (or at least very similar to) Rimworld. Hes just using something he and his audience are familiar with to help describe and relate to this game. It would honestly be weird if he didn't mention it
yeah it depends how fine you want to go in with the detail right?
I learn everytime I see one of these games. I love Cities Skylines and Sim City series. Not just because they're fun, but they're actually a benchmark. You know what it is right? You get some industrial zones, then you need residential right? Supply and demand simulators. It's just what do you want to focus on/ and maybe, more importantly, what can the game engine handle before it craps out? I think Cities Skylines must've pushed some limits with the processors. And I think that's kind of the goal here, to make a game push a game engine's limits and to see how far the game engine can go to deliver the best possible game.
I was thinking in grab the Life isFeudal: Forest Village, now I just want this game LoL!!
Love the casual Holes quote
Take a shot every time he says RimWorld and I'll see u in the afterlife
That just sounds like Rimworld with extra steps!
shut up...
@@rene5290 I can't, I love this game too much.
@@RawkL0bster I understand... We can no longer be together then, I will change my name
@@rene5290 You can't, we are already spirit bound.
@@RawkL0bster I see, well then until the next time we meet on someone's comments
As someone from florida, we are full.
But, youre an exception so welcome to florida! You'll love it!
I hope we get more of this soon 😭
Character running animations reminds me of the old-school Pitfall character on Atari....
I don't know if you'll ever try this game again but I found if you hold down left click and drag from where you want to start counting to the space you want you can just right click to cancel it. If that made any sense... but it helped my ocd a ton lol.
Also they have added a ton of stuff 😊 it's been really fun as of late!
The music that goes in and out is runescape music
your wildlife joke at 15:30 lol its so bad its funny...
Hay and corn stalk beds are actually kinda nice. I'll take either of them over a pillow top soft mattress any day of the week. Just
make sure you can kill the pests.
does this have a multiplayer? cromulent archer is also playing this it would be fun if they can interact with each other.
I really like your content man so i hope you keep it up
Yeah if the dev said that this wasn't inspired by Rimworld it'd be pretty sus. But that's okay anyway, art's meant to be reinterpeted.
also z-levels yaaaaaaas
that alcohol thing is a myth people knew how to make clean water
The sognal youre doing well is staggering him. You not realizing you had to flash him more than once initially probably added to your aggrevation. Bit you did well no hate, i agree any additional info would diminish the joy of victory.
My problem with that level is the needing to scavenge for all your ammo during the fight. That was not a cool game mechanic. It was used a bit in the first game but it was always to grab soecific items not literally everything.
6 shots, then go look for ammo isnt fun and feels like forced anxiety that, while is kind of the point of horror games was so obvious it took me out.
Glad to see you playing this.
