i ve been playing this game for the last two years absolute one of my favorite builders atm, it has grown so much in the last few updates and im enjoying the new map as well. thanks for reviewing another great game nook!
To my knowledge, each level underground gets progressively colder, until freezing. So just a bit down is good for fermenting alcohol. Further down is refrigeration. Still further is freezing.
Cellar wasn't freezing because you added flooring to it. Most artificial structures 'generate heat' to simulate insulation since they don't use a tile-to-tile heat exchange simulation in the game to save on processing.
You need to either make the archer deck on the 3rd level allow the archers to move all the way around the tower (that way they can stay in range no matter where the enemies are) and/or add a special archer tower to the northwest of the current tower (to maximize damage to enemies before they are attacking your foot soldiers. If possible build a "bridge" between the main tower and the archer tower and then build the archer tower without doors and windows. Also build a walled maze to the ramp to the main tower. This will force the enemies to slow down giving archers more time to work. An extra wall a few tiles away from the archer tower would make that tower more defended.
Note 3:00 In ADVANCED mode, you can change the perks, or remove them, and change also their background history, and points in skills. Plus... You can change height and weight, like if you want Dwarves, Height of 122 to 130 and weight 90 to 120 They can shrink to 100, or grow 180. Hobbits, Elves Dwarves and more.
1:33:20 - Note that if you manually order them to equip anything, it overrides these automated orders. I found I had to tell them to drop the gear I manually ordered them to equip before they would use the automated orders.
Heyas Nook, have you looked at the design of the Rochester England Castle Keep? It'd look great in GM for sure, and there are plenty of Historical pictures of the design, rooms, interior/exterior and village. Check it out. 👍👍 10⭐
it has absolutely no content... very lightweight game. much potential but well... its empty and not complex. but there are lots of people happy with empty games i guess. still its the reason the game hasn´t blown up despite the great potential. if you are the type who plays 'creative' mode in certain games it is for you. otherwise you get 30 hours out of it and can put it to the side until they did another 5 patches. no competition for rimworld.... ! yet !
Tbh thats what Rimworlds always felt like to me? It just feels bland and like its missing something, I've never really felt it much of a challenge past initially starting out with scenarios and Ive always hated how bland the over world generation can be, the random placement of factions, etc. It feels like it kind of plays the same every time I play it, weapons to material and so on for buildings strikes me as pretty limited and over all I just don't find it as interesting as a colony builder like something such as Dwarf Fortress. Tbh I'm most excited for Manorlords this coming year, lol I hope it turns out, I feel like it innovates on the genre while fleshing out mechanics we'd already more or less know from other colony or city builders (and I say that as someone who did back Rimworld early/buy it on EA haha)
@@OldSlimJolo Yeah. Rimworld kinda gets better with mods but then your game performance sometimes starts to dip and stuff. Going Medieval is probably better than Rimworld with medieval mods. Also the multistory stuff.
@@foreng3095 yea, ive had my eyes on it here and there, seems like theyre adding quite a bit more with updates now that the base engine for Going Medieval is ironed out. Hehe i still play rimworld on and off, but its like you say, mods def kinda spice the game up a bit after all these years
I liked Rimworld, but it is ultimately untenable to *expect* hundreds of hours of gameplay out of every $25 game. You don't get more good indie games by getting everyone to hole up for the next decade with your One True Game (that we all already own) and its raft of unpaid mods. I had a perfectly reasonable amount of fun with this for the price.

So if I remove all the flooring it'll freeze? Would that work for the ones on the shelf too?

I like it, RimWorld in the medieval world.

I highly recommend Anex Realistic Reshade from Nexus Mods for this game.
My neighbours actually have an indoor pool like that. (Old concrete house buildt on unstable ground, so the basement in flooded with svamplike water).
That was a cool porch for an early defensive position..
This looks interesting, going to give it a shot. Thanks for sharing
this episode was basically "focusing on cosmetics of roofs, while my chickens die"
Have you ever tried to play "Noble Fates"? Its the same type of game, but in a fantasy world. I would love to see a serie of this.
I have! It's a good one I like to check on every once in a while, here's my video from a few months ago: ua-cam.com/video/e6ofOa6VHRg/v-deo.html
In Japan eating eels is also a thing.

Oooh, that’s a proper looking castle
Almost like it was designed in the 1400's for the game, huh?

Hearing people unaware you can just get eel is a bit weird to me as a Dutch men, every fishery will have it here.
