It seems the 2nd gen Tundra is still the best truck Toyota has ever made. My 5.7L V8 has 300k on it, never has had a single issue. Just routine oil changes. I also have a 2022 Tacoma but I am glad I have my Tundra as back up if the Taco ever goes down.
I should have bought one when they were still available. I'm currently driving a 2010 F150 with a 4.6L 2-valve engine, with 188K miles. Still runs great, but it has a oil drip and body corrosion.
@@pamcm1098 Yup, the 5.7L V8 Tundras are definitely built well. I love my Tacoma, i've seen high mileage 3rd gen Tacomas as well. There is a guy on UA-cam with 400k miles on his 3rd gen and it's still running strong so I am not worried. I have my 5.7L V8 Tundra if anything happens anyways.
