      @@houssamalucad753 so for the 24 inch mode it’s only 1080 resolution @ 240hz that you can switch too. Yes it has options to center the picture. Three settings for that actually upper part of the screen, lower part and center.

      @@MrAiden81 that's disappointing, in their website they said "choose your prefered 24" resolution" so I thought it was possible to have a 1 to 1 pixel mapping in the options like the Asus model. I guess I have to shell out the extra cash for the asus then.

      @@houssamalucad753 Aren't you scared of burn in though? If you care about such high FPS then it's probably some competitive game which then means that you'll likely play it on a daily basis. You'd just cause burn in this way. Better to get a 24" dedicated monitor.

    I have tried PG32UCDM, FO32U2P, AW3225QF, MPG321URX. I noticed that FO32U2P and AW3225QF are the only monitors that do not have a stuck pixel on the password field when logging in on Ubisoft app on the PC, to play a game like AC Odyssey. I honestly prefer the "HDR" + ABL High mode on my unit.
    The "HDR GAME"+ ABL High just causes some highlights to be clipped, losing the fine details, especially on things like neon signs in a rainy night in Tokyo, and light reflecting on wet, grainy concrete footpaths for example.

    • @tftcentral

      That combination behaves like peak 1000 modes on other oled monitors so is a viable option. It’s darker than intended for mid grey shades at larger APL, but can reach the 1000 nits peak at least

    Also on game mode HDR in Windows did the HDR Configuration tool clip at 465Nits but actual content go higher?

    • @tftcentral
      @tftcentral  2 дні тому +1

      We no longer have access to the screen I’m afraid. The windows HDR calibration tool won’t impact brightness, even if you set the levels really low in there it doesn’t change the output from the panel. That toll just impacts tone mapping to a small amount, and also how SDR content gets handled when running in HDR mode

    • @mardon85
      @mardon85 2 дні тому

      @tftcentral ah OK no worries.
      I tested today. In the new HDR1000 mode thr PS5 configuration does 16 Clicks. In HDR Game it only goes 10 clicks before the image goes white.
      Does this mean that mode can no longer display 1000nits content?

    • @tftcentral
      @tftcentral  2 дні тому +1

      @mardon85 not necessarily as I don’t believe that’s even a 1% APL test pattern window. It’s all a bit crude those configuration tools. Hello, for the tactical 24" mode, I was told the only available resolution is 1080p????
    if that's the case it's pretty stupid because it means the image will be upscaled and have horrible quality (not 1 to 1 pixel mapping like the Asus and LG 24" modes), could you ask Gigabyte why would they take such a weird decision to lock the resolution on an unoptimized one for that size and PPI?
