That perfect waterfall drive from the U9 Patrol was absolutely stunning! Underrated part of the episode if you ask me! I bought my first 4wd (a YD25 D40 Navara) a few months ago as a crank no start and with the help of a workshop manual I found online, rebuilt the top end of it as it turned out to have cracked the cylinder head! Got it roadworthy and registered just in time for my birthday and now I’m getting into the cosmetic side of things. Typical D40 paint quality, faded and peeling away, so the Raptor bottles would sure give me a great look for the new year!
Remarkable drive from Pete, always through with a lot of control. This video is the most intense 4wd video I've seen. Big respect to Shauno for that very tough moment that he overcame.

Love the show! I have a 1999 Grand Cherokee that's a work in progress. Bought it stock and installed a lift, tires, gears, lockers, winch, tank tuck, diy 2x6 sliders. She's took some beatings and has battle scars. I have replacement doors and rear hatch that I want to install and raptor coat the whole rig. Keep the laughs and entertainment coming mates! Donnie

Hi, my Dad and I are currently doing up a 2012 Toyota Hilux to take to the Cape in July and to Big Red the year after. This is our first rig build. I am getting my license in October and I love watching your channel for inspiration for our next adventures. I would really appreciate to have some raptor paint to aid us for our crusades in the future. Many thanks, Kate
Shauno I love all the hard work you and the boys put in for these videos.I’ve watched all you videos and I have every 4x4 action CDs because I used to watch you when I was younger and still do to this day
I’m 1 year into my build!! It’s my first car 100% inspired by the this channel!! It’s a 84mdl 60 series LC, and a fresh raptor coat is definitely on the list of jobs still needed👌👌. 🙏
You're a bloody ledgend Shawno, always great to see some content like this pump out probably the best "I'm shitting myself" face yet. Big risk Big gains for a Big boy
Finally brought my self a ranger and can't wait to hit my local tassie tracks but as you all know there is a lot of bush scub raptor coating would be a awesome upgrade, also love watching the tassie track vids 👍
This was such an thrilling episode, Jesse did such a good job on his spotting. Felt for Shauno so much, glad him and his vehicle are ok! I have recently brought my 75 series Troopy (dream car) and it came with a defect due to rust on the outer edges on the roof and many long hours to try and get it done. Finally we have cleared the defect and would love to finish my dream off with the raptor coat.
Of all the time watching 4wd247 I've never seen Shauno like this, I think we forget there is a human behind the camera and you can definitely tell this by the fact that Shauno sweared on camera, I've never seen that before and it shows that this is a very real situation that could of gone a lot worse and in that moment he didn't care that the cameras were rolling. It terms of the raptor coating, it be nice to respray my ford ranger, been working on making it a capable camper and tourer. Cheers for all the entertainment boys, always love the entertainment.
I just want to say it now, the most intense and actually frightening 15min of watching offroad videos. That was not OK but glad it's over. Also Pete is a f'ing monster :D OK back to the video now lol.
Watch the cooking scene, turn the volume up, after the lid goes on the pot, and the heat reduced for 45min - 1 hour, and then hear what Ruben says.....
I'm working on an old Army trailer that was built in 1965. I'd love to get it set up as a camper trailer so I can use it as a base-camp. I've completed the draw-bar extension and a few bits and pieces. Next up is to strip it back and clean up the rust, before painting it. I'd love to be able to hit it with some Rapter! Awesome episode guys! Such a thrilling and funny episode! Had me on the edge of my seat for the waterfall section! Killer drives lads 👌
Well Done jesse nicely done in the bug hole. And Nice to see you are well. Thanks for every nice klipp this year. Marty chrismas and Happy new year ti all at 4WD24/7 kind regards Erik in Sweden
Pete is my spirit animal, always calm, never chewing gum on camera, quiet exhaust, never hits the limiter, perfect line everytime, doesn't need big power, truthfully though it wouldn't be quite the same with 5 pete's in a row, quietly slaying every mud hole\off camber ocky doomsday climb\totally quiet vehicle.
Well, to be honest I Don't usually comment or give like to videos but after watching that clip of Shauno, my heart started to stop almost. You deserve a like and comment brothers

Pete just absolutely goat’ed that cliffs edge drive. Also, good on all the boys for showing some great brotherhood and taking care of each other on this especially nerve wracking trip.
Wow what an adventure mate, This episode hit me with émotions seeing Shaun and Reuben shook On my side I’m working on a 80 serie rebuild in my shed, 1 HDT powered ! the raptor kit would be the perfect fitting for the chassis protection as well as the bull bar and rear bumper ! Thanks for sharing your adventures !
I'm in Thailand, but from Scotland originally. I recently bought a Ranger Wildtrak, mainly because of the reviews and tests on various Aussie 4x4 UA-cam videos - including yours. There's no freaking way I'd take my new car over that sort of terrain, heavily modified or not. Some very impressive driving!!
Stumbled across your channel the other day with the Rubicon vid. So glad I did, you guys have moments that make me laugh out loud, and your lighting that fire for me to get another real 4×4, Cheers from Southern Oregon!🤘 Great content, thank you🫡
Bloody sick episode, love the banter between Jesse and Shauno, easily one of the best parts, up there with the cooking sections 👌 Bought myself an 2007 N70 a couple months back and need to Sandblast and respray the tray, I reckon I'm going to respray the tray with some black raptor and go over my rock sliders and bull bar, give the old girl a bit of a spruce up. Will be a great time getting to put the Raptor to the test on the tracks with my mates!!
Always epic adventures with the 4wd247 boys! Makes me want to head over the ditch and explore Tassie to play in the mud. I've recently picked up an old 2nd hand canopy for my tub, but the paint work is looking pretty average for its age. A few coats of raptor would really spruce it up and make it stand out on the tracks
Got a USDM 94' FZJ80 3xLocked on 35's w/ a 4 inch lift. Paint is trashed currently, but if I got new paint, I would scratch it on the first day out. I like to explore new tracks but I still want my rig to look good. Other than that, it's going to get a motor rebuild (love the 1fz-fe, but Shauno's turbo diesel sounds sooo good) and down the road maybe a turbo setup too. I installed chromoly front axles and would love to get superior engineering's hyperflex arms. Maybe 37's are in store for my rig's future for when I want to hit the rubicon trail or some harder crawling. It's an expedition setup right now, but like you all know, it can handle some of the hard stuff too. You guys inspired me to get a landcruiser. No regrets. Such a good ride. It does everything I want to.
Good to see your all good shauno and good call mate glad too see your safe. I’m doing up a 1993 hj75 Troopy with my dad as a first car for me it came with a 1hz stock in it needing a rebuild so we rebuilt it and now just getting the body ready for a paint job would love to put raptor on it but can’t as I have run out of fund for it so was going to paint it a cheap paint but a raptor kit would really be amazing cause I want a strong quality paint for it as I want to take it around aus and take it through the telly track cheers love the vids.
I live in Houston, TX, USA and can't get enough of these videos since last year when they came over to the USA and drove some of our trails, hilarious fun. Anyways I think Shauno should do a "Bush" cooking class. Excellent stuff. Thanks !!
Hi I'm Joe I live in Western Australia, been following the 4WD 24/7 for the past year or 2 now, been enjoying watching the 4x4 adventures you guys have and the tips you give on 4x4ing... I brought myself a 1987 60s series Landcruiser in late 2019 early 2020, had a few small family adventures with her already, put a 2" lift in with the aid of a mate and his dads home mechanical work shop rolling on 35" Mud/T but some mechanical issues have put a halt in that for now...Brought it as a long term project would love to Raptor coat it while keeping relatively original, after removing rust from the gutters and anywhere else, be nice to give her a new lease on life and some protection along with a fresh paint job. Just isn't in the budget at the moment as paint jobs and mechanical issues are costly when you have a young family and other commitments new house etc... I've got big plans later on down the track, looking to also swap the 3F which is having issues for a 2h which I already have, just have to budget rebuild and wiring. Hopefully get her rolling again in the near future and start having adventures with it, also have winch waiting to be installed a 40" light bar, side steps with scrub rails to go on and looking into a dual battery system as I can afford it and a few other plans.
What an epic drive gents! This is my favorite 4wd channel! As far as the Raptorcoat giveaway I could use it on the new frame swap I'm performing on my series 2 Land Rover Discovery
Got a custom fabrication job coming along nicely. I'm a first-year apprentice and I'm having a go at building a rear bar with a swing-away tyre, that Raptor coat is exactly what I'm going to be needing to complete the job!! Cheers Shauno
Currently in the shed is my 80 series, working on refreshing the front bullbar and in the final stages of fabbing up a rear bar! Would be nothing short of awesome to be able to give them a coat of raptor :)
Love yoru channel man! It's not just offroading, but EXTREME offroading. And it's not just extreme offroading but COOKING and fishing and just overall good kameraderie overall. Here's five thumbs up 🤭🤭 👍👍👍👍👍
That was amazing.... And Pete, that is an exceptional drive over that cliff. It was a moment of pure bliss as team work worked well...... Shaun was scared but he built it up the cliff really well.
Working on a 97 Hilux Surf. Just getting into 4WDing, having a blast learning about the truck and tinkering away at her too. Paints a bit of a goner so would love to spruce her up with a fresh paint job. Chur the boys

Im working on a 1989 Isuzu Trooper and the pinstriping is pretty brutal with all the thorn bushes on the trails here. A raptor coat would do the trick!
Hey fellas, I’m a 17 year old starting my diesel mechanic apprenticeship very soon. Planning on painting the tray on my ute to impress the lads at work. Some raptor would go well for it 🤙
I have OKA 109 in the midst of a rebuild... It is going to be an off-road BEAST! And one of only 452 all Aussie designed and built off road adventure trucks! Have already committed to using Raptor Coat on it. ✔️. With 6 litres of Anti Corrosive Primer and 8 litres of Raptor in the shed, ready to start the full body repaint in late January! 6 tonnes of Dual cab Truck is hungry for a lot of Raptor! But just not sure if I have enough to cover the canopy yet! The finished beast will be an eye catcher for the Raptor brand too! Great episode. Glad disaster didn't happen on the tracks there... Shauno sure came close! Keep safe guys and keep up the good work. 👍
Hey guys, I’m about to work on my first car, which is going to be an 80 series. I would really like the raptor coating kit because I’m going to be on a budget for the first couple of months ❤️. U guys are the best of the best 4wd-ing channel ever. I love watching your videos after a day of school and it makes me a lot happier and more exited to be older. Cheers
I’m working on my 2005 d40 Spanish built navara at home.. not a lot of coin behind me but big plans for the rig. I plan on raptor coating all my accessories 😁👍🏾
Currently my 304 5L v8 swapped gq patrol that's been chopped from a wagon into single cab Ute, just did a big engine build with low compression to turbo it soon. And was actually about to buy raptor soon because about to chop the tray Abit shorter so was going to raptor it and the gulwing box at the same time. Awesome episode boys keep up the good work.

Donnie
On ya Tony for knowing the limits. No shame in that at all.
Great vid! Working on a classic HZJ75 series, cheeky turbo for a bit of go go juice, and the kicker is it runs on chip oil 🔥
Good on you guys.....Jesse is a terrific addition to your already awesome team. Very nice Tasmania episode....A very Beautiful, natural place, I loved my short time there, (Wished it was 4wding) Cheers lads 👍🍻
Cheers mate! Glad you like the show
Brilliant to watch guys thanks for making this video and putting it up on UA-cam have a great Christmas mark in Guernsey 🇬🇬
Finally brought my self a ranger and can't wait to hit my local tassie tracks but as you all know there is a lot of bush scub raptor coating would be a awesome upgrade, also love watching the tassie track vids 👍
First upgrade should be selling the ranger
@@レーキムの皮 nothing wrong with a ranger mate
Jesse and the flying Dmax, what a line 😂, a dalmationised camera vehicle, and much fun had, keep up the good work
I just want to say it now, the most intense and actually frightening 15min of watching offroad videos. That was not OK but glad it's over.
Also Pete is a f'ing monster :D
OK back to the video now lol.
Onya Tony. Good to show blokes there’s always another option and go with the gut. Respect
I uses to think Ruben was always happy, but I think he just laughs at everything in a different tone.
Watch the cooking scene, turn the volume up, after the lid goes on the pot, and the heat reduced for 45min - 1 hour, and then hear what Ruben says.....
What he say can’t hear it
@shaunerixon5125 yea what's he say? Can't quite catch it 48:59
I'm working on an old Army trailer that was built in 1965.
Only reason it was sketchy is because Graham wasn't there.
Mate, what a drive. You've been here and there, but guys, you've done it again. Absolute legends.
just curious how tall is sooty? i wanna get an 80 series
Well I mean it's far taller than a stock 80, all you can get I'd the stock height which you can just search up
@@keqrou yeah there is probably a lift on it
Well Done jesse nicely done in the bug hole. And Nice to see you are well. Thanks for every nice klipp this year. Marty chrismas and Happy new year ti all at 4WD24/7 kind regards Erik in Sweden
Pete is my spirit animal, always calm, never chewing gum on camera, quiet exhaust, never hits the limiter, perfect line everytime, doesn't need big power, truthfully though it wouldn't be quite the same with 5 pete's in a row, quietly slaying every mud hole\off camber
ocky doomsday climb\totally quiet vehicle.
Well, to be honest I Don't usually comment or give like to videos but after watching that clip of Shauno, my heart started to stop almost. You deserve a like and comment brothers
just had my first shift of my first job(kfc) and plan to save every buck to put towards praji (mums prado) and get out me little 99% stock car and myself to whatever tracks i can find and it's been inspired by you guys for years and years of adventures. Thanks for the insporation guys!
Pete just absolutely goat’ed that cliffs edge drive. Also, good on all the boys for showing some great brotherhood and taking care of each other on this especially nerve wracking trip.
Wow what an adventure mate,
This episode hit me with émotions seeing Shaun and Reuben shook
On my side I’m working on a 80 serie rebuild in my shed, 1 HDT powered !
the raptor kit would be the perfect fitting for the chassis protection as well as the bull bar and rear bumper !
Thanks for sharing your adventures !
26:37 - that face! 🤣😂
You guys have truly outdone yourselves - as usual.
Best thumbnail the editors have made so far
I'm in Thailand, but from Scotland originally. I recently bought a Ranger Wildtrak, mainly because of the reviews and tests on various Aussie 4x4 UA-cam videos - including yours. There's no freaking way I'd take my new car over that sort of terrain, heavily modified or not. Some very impressive driving!!
Never a dull moment watching you Pete! Love your energy and spot on skills you share in your videos!
Stumbled across your channel the other day with the Rubicon vid. So glad I did, you guys have moments that make me laugh out loud, and your lighting that fire for me to get another real 4×4, Cheers from Southern Oregon!🤘 Great content, thank you🫡
Bloody sick episode, love the banter between Jesse and Shauno, easily one of the best parts, up there with the cooking sections 👌
Bought myself an 2007 N70 a couple months back and need to Sandblast and respray the tray, I reckon I'm going to respray the tray with some black raptor and go over my rock sliders and bull bar, give the old girl a bit of a spruce up.
Thanks !!
Hi I'm Joe
I live in Western Australia, been following the 4WD 24/7 for the past year or 2 now, been enjoying watching the 4x4 adventures you guys have and the tips you give on 4x4ing...
Great episode! Building up my 4th gen 4Runner. Wanting to fix some "extreme pinstripes" on my wheel arches, lower doors and rock sliders with Raptor
It was neat seeing Jesse try all the lines through the bog hole. An interesting approach that I have attempted before.
Love yoru channel man! It's not just offroading, but EXTREME offroading.
And it's not just extreme offroading but COOKING and fishing and just overall good kameraderie overall.
Here's five thumbs up 🤭🤭
👍👍👍👍👍
That was amazing.... And Pete, that is an exceptional drive over that cliff. It was a moment of pure bliss as team work worked well...... Shaun was scared but he built it up the cliff really well.
Dude that was absolutely gnarly. Glad y’all made it out fine, shows how much experience counts when doing this technical driving
Working on a 97 Hilux Surf. Just getting into 4WDing, having a blast learning about the truck and tinkering away at her too. Paints a bit of a goner so would love to spruce her up with a fresh paint job. Chur the boys
What an episode!!
We’re rebuilding our ‘new to us’ soft floor converted budget expedition style camper in the new year so a raptor kit will do wonders once the fab work is all finished!
That's Gold fellas! I'm working on a 92 HZJ75 Troopy, inside is done, took 8 months final touch would be Sandy Taupe Raptor Coat, just don't have the dosh after Christmas, so fingers crossed can do it before winter cape trip 😁
Shauno! When you come to US next year and are wheeling Moab, you have to take a drive to Land cruiser Museum in Salt Lake City. They have some peaches and some legendary builds
Good episode boys
I’m working on my 90 series Prado going to paint the bullbar and the plastics with raptor
Im working on a 1989 Isuzu Trooper and the pinstriping is pretty brutal with all the thorn bushes on the trails here. A raptor coat would do the trick!
Ive been watching you guys for years and this is by far the craziest video yet. Amazing, keep it up guys!
The mite of the dmax shines again good to see you are looking after Graham's dmax
The U9 patrol and driver are next level, make everything look easy👌
Hey fellas,
I’m a 17 year old starting my diesel mechanic apprenticeship very soon.
P.s. Going white on the body, black on the Bull bar, bar work and steps.
Hey guys,
I’m about to work on my first car, which is going to be an 80 series.
All your tassie episodes are on fire! Tassie has everything to offer. Would love to be able to get that raptor kit giveaway as i am currently working on a buddy's DIY stainless snorkel. A coat of raptor would be bloody awesome for this project. 😎
