    Tones aside, I could probably learn more licks from this video alone than any YT lesson. Killer chops!

    I was expecting a lot from the 59SLP but wow the 72 50W Treble was really good

    Stellar playing, but I gotta say, I was really hoping for more chord riffing to hear how each of these models handles palm mutes (tight vs flubby), clarity of 3-4 note chords when the guitar's volume knob is at 8-10, etc.

      Outstanding marshall sounds, nice works Camilo. I would also like to hear damping with each preset
      because it tells a lot about the goodness or badness of a device or preset.

    The part that’s missing is the feedback/sustain that a real cranked amp would have added. Every time he bends a note you expect to hear at least a bit of it. But its just not there. Almost bizarre if your used to it.

    I have played guitar a long time and some of the picking styles and riffs you and others play on UA-cam dont even make sense to me. Please do a video on the riffs you play in this video, the fast stuff blows my mind and I want to learn

    Hi! Really nice sound and fantastic play skills, congrats. I didn't before now, see some of those plexi amps, as rocking high gain amp. I downloaded your preset to my Axe fx 3 and had to adjust it with some drive pedals to get same high gain. Also adjust the top down and put in some bass. I must have little less output from my guitar pickups Stratocaster american floyd rose model, than you. It's single coils at the center and neck, the bridge is humbucker. But I endend up with a very good sound and exiting.. Thanks..!

    Is it as good as a real amp ? Why do so many Axe guys have so many tube amps ? Love your playing brother !

    Hello. Great video and thanks for the in depth descriptive explanations of the patches. Can I ask what you listen to the output through while doing a take or just playing in general. I am interested in one of these but am concerned that if I use it in the control room I'm going to be either listening to headphones or my monitor speakers which are connected to my desk / mixer / sound card. In other words not a 12" Celestion of which I have a few to use between my valve amps. Should I have a "flat" amp and a "Celestion"?

    • @CamiloVelandia
      @CamiloVelandia  5 років тому

      I just listen through studio monitors. I dont think you need an additional amp or speaker unless you really feel you need the air pushing

    Hey brother, can you tell me what model (year) that cherry burst LP is? (the one you are playing around the 7-8 min mark)

    • @CamiloVelandia
      @CamiloVelandia  4 роки тому

      What's up brother! Yeah, it's a 1960 Classic Reissue. I don't remember the actual year... Somewhere in the 2000s

  • @Turboy65

    Very interesting. Though the tonal differences are fairly subtle, each amp sound reminds me of the tones of certain specific guitarists.

      How did you change the cathode resistor? Be nice if you could choose some old trans to get even closer.

  • @chrisx742

    They sound good but none of them sound like Marshalls. They sound like Fractal distortion, there is no clang or mid grind. Apparently Cliff can't hear any frequencies above 10K and he thinks the perfect guitar sound is a JP2C. All of his models sound the same.

    • @2204JCM

      Yeah, that’s what I hear too. The real thing would be much less forgiving to play.

    • @lonnyhandwork422

      Chris X I have to agree. I doubt few (anyone?) listening live would notice the difference but to my ears this is more “reminiscent” of my 1987x (as an example) than it is a replication. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t sound great, and being exactly like the amp isn’t necessarily “better” but..... I’d imagine the feel is even more different. Note that I’m not anti-digital/modeller. Love my Helix.
