This is Insanity, you put a ton of effort (thanks!) to help people get the type of sounds they want hear. It has now 8 likes and that's wrong. I don't understand people at times, a short stupid comment will get a ton of likes but something that guitar players need only 8? Truly appreciate that you put this up since it helps so much !!
Raymond Upenieks No worries, man. You are right about my motivation - it was to make it easy to find sounds you like based on the artist and see the amp / present used. Worked for me 😊
I agree. Starting with stairway would have been a very bad idea LOL I was actually looking kind of emulate the sound from this finish metal band 69 eyes oh, I saw this video and I recalled selling one of the older versions to a customer when I worked at Sam Ash. I'm only about seven and a half minutes into the video. Are there any riffs from the 69 eyes?
I can't decide wether or not I'm more impressed with the Axe FX III, your amazing collection of music man's, or your great playing. Awesome video man. I would definitely love to add all of this gear to my current collection.
@@charveljackson6346 my guess is these are stock tones. Tweak them and put them in a mix and the axe 3 is near undetectable from the original amps. Especially with a good IR
My first time watching this and I am blown away. ALL the Musicman guitars, ALL the classic riffs played flawlessly? Damn. This guy not only has a very nice collection of guitars but very talented as well. Rock on brother.. \m/
Not only great playing and tones here, but I've now got 263 iconic guitar riff video lessons that I can see anytime I want if a band needs to cover that song...thanks Cooper!
A video made for guitarists and so well played per song. Appreciate it so much, instant sub. Players and products don't want to hear a ton of talk, they want to hear the gear. Thank you so very much.!
No one is even thinking about the Axe-Fx, we are all amazed at your versatility. I do have to comment on the AXE-FX though. The gain sounds are very, very good. Even though they have come along in their ability to create realistic clean tones, they are not yet close enough. All the clean tones sound like a simulator.
@@Nb0ssProductions They are not indistinguishable from the originals. And, furthermore the higher gain settings have a nasty nasal bump that is not possible to EQ out of the sound. Some of the Marshall mid gain sounds are good enough while others are way off. The Kemper really is indistinguishable from originals when recorded and doesn't suffer that mid range honk. Check out the Kemper vrs Axe Fx videos and there you will hear what I am talking about. The Kemper suffers in the FX side of things and so a high quality FX would be desirable IMO something like the T.C Gmajor or newer because when you have stella tone you MUST have the same in FX. If Kemper upped their game in the FX area then that would be perfect, Also there is the issue of how it feels to play through a digital device...I have a Carvin BelAir all tube twin combo and the tone of this thing blows everything out of the water and it makes the guitar 'feel' super silky which no Digi device can even get close.
barry...right... the clean and breakup tones still sound like the usual modeller. The funny thing is: many people use the AXE-FX just for the FXS...Its not a KEMPER...it is and stays a modeller!
WOW! You absolutely NAILED many of those songs, but the Matthew Sweet @ 4:04 could've been the f-in record! (Plus, I certainly didn't expect to hear that song. I love that whole album!)
How do you like the Mission Wedge? Out of all the frfr’s out these are the ones I keep coming back to. It’s the coaxial speaker design and the fact it’s built like a guitar cab and not a plastic shell. I have two of them in my Sweetwater shopping cart now waiting on me to pull the trigger!
I'm glad I clicked on this You rock dude thanks for this!! Axe machine sounds great job We play the intro to" Lay it down " The same so thanks for confirmation
I've always been a real amp or kemper guy! However, ya playing has made this Axe Fx3 sound pretty killer! Great playing! Loved the Cameron n the cae3 lead n cae clean the best!
Fantastic video, was looking for something like this for some time to learn the amps in my FM9 Turbo better. And exceptional guitar skill. So great to hear the matching song for each amp. I hope part 2, 3 etc is also on UA-cam. I am enjoying your video's and learned so much. Thanks for sharing.
OK damnit, I couldn't stop watching....just wasted an hour of my life because I couldn't stop at just Part I. In all seriousness, freakin' awesome demo. That's how it's done. Really appreciate the time and effort that went into this plus it was damn fun trying to guess each song without cheating. Nice job!
I think this video just made up my mind on getting an axe fx. And bro you killed it awesome playing such versitlity. Great show case of skill and the axe fx.
You are the master at matching the right guitar tone with the song, not to mention your playing is spot on. Great job and one of the best videos on what the Axe-iii can do. Hope Fractal is sending you some props and gear.
WOW! Makes me feel great that I get just as good of tone with Marshall Code series amp and cab sims with free VST plugins! I saved $$$ to buy other stuff. Thanks! (not dissing your play style at all). Thumbs Up!
Yeah man nice flavors of different genres, classics , modern metal and even some 90s pop in there. Who disliked the video? Haters are weak... I just ordered the amp
Great job! I'm liking the FAS Modern patches for out of the box distorted presets best. Most of the other distorted presets have way to many effects on them for me. It makes the unit sound very sterile and less "real". The clean tones sound awesome. If I get one I will spend a lot of time tweaking that's for sure.
Great work. What strikes me immediately listening on studio headphones is that a bunch of those high gain models have ear-bleeding treble. Some sounded great but honestly, some sounded like the cabinet block was bypassed, they were that rough.

I don't understand people at times, a short stupid comment will get a ton of likes but something that guitar players need only 8? Truly appreciate that you put this up since it helps so much !!
Thanks dude
May God bless your soul
Raymond Upenieks No worries, man. You are right about my motivation - it was to make it easy to find sounds you like based on the artist and see the amp / present used. Worked for me 😊
Perfect demonstration ! What a big talent Cooper is to know all these different riffs and play it so effortlessly !
I know this video has been out for a while now, but still...
🤯👊🏻🙌🏻
Leading with Cliff of Dover was smart. It pulled all the guitarists right in......
😉
Hahaha facts
@@coopercarter what cab and power amp are you using in the video or just powered cabinet or FRFR?
Cooper just went next level. What a BOSS!
I can't decide wether or not I'm more impressed with the Axe FX III, your amazing collection of music man's, or your great playing. Awesome video man. I would definitely love to add all of this gear to my current collection.
His playing is better than the tone of the Axe FX 3!
@@charveljackson6346 my guess is these are stock tones. Tweak them and put them in a mix and the axe 3 is near undetectable from the original amps. Especially with a good IR
Man, you’re CHOICE of riff over each tone is PERFECT.
Definitely thumbs up for your versatility as a player! Just felt like I listened to the last 30 years of radio.
Flawless Victory
Beyond being the best Axe Fx demo I've ever heard, super versatile playing!
Between the Buried and Me and Opeth, back to back no less! Love it man.
This is amazing dude! What a showcase! Great playing, great tones, great greatness!
Creative Spiral and
A video made for guitarists and so well played per song. Appreciate it so much, instant sub. Players and products don't want to hear a ton of talk, they want to hear the gear.
Thank you so very much.!
That was perfect in every way, right down to the editing. Well done, and thank you! And great chops and diversity in your repertoire!!
Mostly this video just served as a reminder of why I love guitar!
263 riffs but only 262 guitars? Awesome playing dude. fun to watch.
They're more than close enough for live.
What are you talking about man? They are indistinguishable from the originals .... and how could you tell anyway through UA-cam
Mickeyislowd Only you know or care. Audience does not give a damn
Wow. That's a nice collection of licks and tones for the Axe FX3. I haven't even tried out every tone yet and I've had it for months.
World best review of Fractal audio!!!
I basically watched this just to hear you play every cover known to man.
aliensporebomb (
Not that I don't like the AxeFX - but learning stuff like "Tumeni Notes" and some other bits via a clear color video is useful and cool.
WOW! You absolutely NAILED many of those songs, but the Matthew Sweet @ 4:04 could've been the f-in record! (Plus, I certainly didn't expect to hear that song. I love that whole album!)
That face when you played "lay it down"..you really felt it!!!
I had it CRANKED very loud 🤘🤘
How do you like the Mission Wedge? Out of all the frfr’s out these are the ones I keep coming back to. It’s the coaxial speaker design and the fact it’s built like a guitar cab and not a plastic shell. I have two of them in my Sweetwater shopping cart now waiting on me to pull the trigger!
Most of those tones are spot on! This is why I am getting the FM9 which will be the first modeller I every buy since I picked up a guitar in 1980!
Thanks for playing Count of Tuscany! :D Amazing job all and all mate.
I'm glad I clicked on this
You rock dude thanks for this!!
Axe machine sounds great job
We play the intro to" Lay it down "
The same so thanks for confirmation
I've always been a real amp or kemper guy! However, ya playing has made this Axe Fx3 sound pretty killer! Great playing! Loved the Cameron n the cae3 lead n cae clean the best!
Wow for the playing and wow for the sound. Excellent!!
truly amazing playing. Definitely more interested now then before in the FA Axe rack
great job Cooper!
thumbs up if you thought of Rebecca Dirks at 8:54
Hahaaaaa
🤣🤣🤣
This is so ridiculously amazing. Hats to you sir!
That is what you call a demo.....Many Thanks
Geeezuuss - You got more chops than a wood chipper- I hate you LOL - Totally outstanding job man. Cliff owes you for that one big time.
The Axe Fx III seems to be frikkin' amazing but your playing rules, man. Great job.
Killer player you know freaking every song. Surprised me with Mathew Sweet and many others. Great demo.
Pretty killer, my dude!! Your pinky is like, "don't worry...I got this, bro." lol
Wow, exceptional playing, instant fan.
Nice job!
Holy shit are you good man! I am impressed and that Axe-FX III sounds so sick!
Impressive tones!, playing and collection of guitars!
I think this video just made up my mind on getting an axe fx. And bro you killed it awesome playing such versitlity. Great show case of skill and the axe fx.
You know there is a long. Very long. I mean extremely long waiting time for the Axe FX?
Michiel1972 Like to buy an axe fx or to dial it in. I'm not sure what you mean.
Never thought I'd hear Don Henley and Opeth in the same video, but here we are.
The versatility of the Axe-Fx 😂
amazing video - the SRV riffs looked like they were the most difficult to play..it goes to show how ahead Stevie was compared to everybody else!
Rush, The Killers and SOAD at the end was great!!!
Some of these profile names got a good chuckle out of me.
Citrus
Das Metall
Good shit Fractal. Good shit
Very nice demo Cooper..! Thanks! :)
amazing playing, beautiful guitars
Great tones and cool playing !!!
What a cool little video series, perfect intro song :D
Awesome! Great tones!
Just the fact that you played a Matthew Sweet tune… Girlfriend is a great album
what a beast!!!! Amazing!
*I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THIS!!* 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
You are the master at matching the right guitar tone with the song, not to mention your playing is spot on. Great job and one of the best videos on what the Axe-iii can do. Hope Fractal is sending you some props and gear.
You know every song known to man.....
This is killer! I just subscribed- hopefully I will be doing a similar riff run through on some of my modelers soon. This sounds excellent!
wow thats an insane vid bro… thx for the time n effort.. doing my homework on the axe 3 and this really really helps…
Absolutely genius. I LOVED the Petrucci tune that you threw in there.
Much respect for breaking out some Joe Bonamassa and Alterbridge 🤘🏻 thanks for the great demo, rock on!!
Ok, I laughed out loud when you played Divine Intervention ❤
Cooper I'll bet you could have one HELL of a cover band. You can probably play ANYTHING.
Killer Video dude
Toto, 90s Dream Theater, Joe Walsh and Miley Cyrus.
You sir, win both Guitar and The Internet at once. Heartfelt respect and admiration. 🤘🏻
Very good idea! Nicely played. Love that
Great playing!! Damn what a long pinky !!!
Tremendous! Nice job.
Great tones and great playing, bro!!!
Wow so nice!!!
Well done really
🏆
Great video Cooper, very inspiring 🤘🏻
best Axe FX salesman
Damn this must’ve taken forever to dial in all these effects!!! Niiiice job!!!
Not really! AustinBuddy did all the work on the presets, really!!
4:37 - "The Count of Tuscany". That's not the only Dream Theater I caught either. Also liked "Master's Apprentices" showing up.
yup, caught that to.
Also, Between the Buried and Me just before Opeth :D I like this guy!
Damn the audio quality on this is pretty tight
Is 8:54 the PremierGuitar intro? Haha what a classic. You're my favorite person in UA-cam right now. Never seen such a versatile player... Wow
It's is! Lol
Wow thanks!
WOW! Makes me feel great that I get just as good of tone with Marshall Code series amp and cab sims with free VST plugins! I saved $$$ to buy other stuff. Thanks! (not dissing your play style at all). Thumbs Up!
Amazing play and great sounds
I was able to pick out every riff !
Simply outstanding!
Nice demo thanks man
pretty cool!! slip on the head phones for this one!!
Yeah man nice flavors of different genres, classics , modern metal and even some 90s pop in there. Who disliked the video? Haters are weak... I just ordered the amp
Nice 👍🏻 love ❤️ the tonal sound effects etc. 😨
Sounds great..excellent job
Great job! I'm liking the FAS Modern patches for out of the box distorted presets best. Most of the other distorted presets have way to many effects on them for me. It makes the unit sound very sterile and less "real". The clean tones sound awesome. If I get one I will spend a lot of time tweaking that's for sure.
It sounds so good and great playing
Great work. What strikes me immediately listening on studio headphones is that a bunch of those high gain models have ear-bleeding treble. Some sounded great but honestly, some sounded like the cabinet block was bypassed, they were that rough.
Wow so nice, i love the john frusciante's cosplay btw
Coop goes RAWKSTAR!!! Killer man. Loved it.
Ah you make me remember I played Guitar Hero like a lot of times :D
Great post, excellent skills too :)
Amazing riffage!!!
As a guitar player I am jealous at how long your fingers are
No kidding. My pinky is about an inch shorter.
Look at my man Cooper bussin out the cliffs of Dover TOP DECK.
You play awesome bro I love
amazing bro!!!!
Damn! That Big Hair patch alone made me want to buy an Axe FX!
Well done!
I’m pretty sure my next guitar will be some type of Music Man after this video.
Impressive playing! Super Smart
