The audio is 1 take but the video is made up of 3. Shot and edited by Mick Taylor. Recorded and mixed by me! Hope you enjoy!
Sounds hench!
Great sound!
Mick Taylor is a god
Rabea Massaad love it man! You guys never disappoint!🤘
IMPRESSIVE ! maybe one day the kraken will be released in my own room :p but for now that sounds fucking great to my ears; Toska has a very complex musical construction, I love it, look forward to see you playing in Paris: p: p: p: p: p: p in 2019 !!!! thanx a lot !!!
The way the song resolves after the tension created before 7:06 is one of the most musically satisfying things I've ever heard.
That bass lick starting at 6:42 may be technically simple, but is probably the most tasteful metal bass lick ever conceived. Absolutely stellar; those 25 seconds prove how a skilled bassist can make or break a track.
Dave shreds every bass he touches.
It's wild how close this sounds to the album. The drum sounds in particular are spot on. Crazy that this is a live session.
@@jmi8 Or at least augmented, with some M&M. I struggle to believe that's 100% live :P
I'm quite sure to hear the room mic samples from GGDs Modern&Massive which were recorded in the same studio as the album.
Lots of post processing probably. Like Bea said this was shot months ago
5 YEARS already passed....WTF !!! I miss Toska so much, wish you would reunite and continue.
So no one is going to comment on how amazing Ben's facial hair looks.
For real now, you guys are killing it! Never heard a live performance so similar to the album version.
Rabea needs to use a quad setup of two krakens and two super krakens
In stereo wet dry would be sick
That would be awesome, but can you imagine the spaghetti of wires and setup time!? T_T
Double Rereo Stig
@@SirAndrewHillier Just get Dan to set it up through a G2. I mean if Mick was there chances are Dan was too
So like a W/D rig but on both sides? So W/D(L) D/W(R). Now that's a rig if I've ever heard one.
that section at 6:16 is probably my favourite moment on the album, the delay on the third hit is so good
This is like the sound of youth. While we are still young and inspired enough to rock this shit out of our hearts. Before we get old and sit with our acoustics. To me this captures a very special and important part of life. Youth mixed with maturity and wildfire. Kind of hard to put into words. This track knocks me back every time.
2:54 is so special...amazing! Such an heavy riff but so chill, soothing and emotional.
I need 4 stomachs to digest how sweet this whole video is.
This is phenomenal, brilliantly inventive chord structuring, tight musicianship and thundering tone. Astounding!
I can't comprehend how good these guys are.
I see Ben is going for the cartoon villain look these days with that stache. Great work guys.
One of the best bands in rock history
RIP Toska, I will miss you guys!
Genuinely prefer this recording to the album!
EPIC. Zero Mistakes made. Bea is getting better and better as time goes by.
Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This 👍👍🎶🎶🎸Amazing Artists. Rock On.
Сижу такой слушаю Toska, парралельно серфлю интернет, а на 6:17 начинаю просто люто башкой кивать) кач у них просто нереальный. From Russia with love! Big tnx for really good doomed tunes. Feeling like im 16 y.o. boy who listen White Pony by Deftones. Amasing. Jah Bless.
Yes man...just.a.simple.YESS!!
I like how Edgar Allen Poe appears to be headbanging over the opening riff at 0:40. Great sound guys! Such fine drumming from Ben, great sonic backbone from Dave, and as usual Rabea's virtuoso playing.
From 6:16 onward is absolutely epic. The music soars to a level that should give anyone goosebumps.
My favorite track on the album. Sounds awesome. The Kraken sounds nice and all, but them drums tho...
Almost as big as the fro!
Rabea's and Toska's music reminds me of Dark Orchestra Metal ...very F'n Awesome.
Love Rabea's Edgar Allen Poe T-shirt too.
Pure sonic joy.
Wow . Whole song is great .... But The last riff is ....... Like I m crying and feeling happy at The same time . I dont know how to describe IT but my heart is pumping faster . Thank U Guys for this moment of JOY . Bless U.
Most engaging piece of prog metal I've heard in a long time. Unbelievable 1 take audio. Love that dark baritone sound. Great musicianship!
Live? Are you kidding me? This sounds immense.
I just love the whole hans zimmer kinda vibe of this song. Veeerrryyy awesome !
Watching thinking there is no way this a live take...see video of Toska playing live in Manchester filmed on a phone...get goosepimples listening...change mind. so much talent here guys.
Dave.
Love the multiscale bass
Loving the work all over this album guys! This tune has some lovely intricate polyrhythm tings going on though, proper groovy! So good, so inspiring!
this song always woke me up during my 3rd period
God I live this song . Every time I hear IT ..... Hard to describe .... Bea thanx for this awesome piece :)
This is absolutely unreal. So impressive. Bea for life
You can't help but headbang to this
You read my mind ! It’s a masterpiece in the new album and seing this live instead of a studio multitake is very impressive. Guys you are really locked in in terms of timing, rythm and feeling. Mick did a great job to immortalize this
We’re all happy campers now !
Good job guys !
Ben’s mustache almost rivals Frank Zappa’s. Dude is killing it with that facial hair
Deep rich chords, intricate yet flowing arrangement, charging silverback grooves, delicate melody. The 'Bari' is just monumental. Great writing. All members are musical athletes and Ben's stache is magnif. Bravo
I noticed this during their shows a few weeks ago. Dave dances with his bass. It is hypnotic.
Man cant wait for dorje to regroup and make more albums with how you guys have been growing as a band and rob as a vocalist its going to be better than ever.
I can't stop crying everytime I hear this song , you guys really killed it with this record ... the tones are just other-worldly , everything sounds HUGE .. I'm amazed .. I get soo motivated to write when this comes up in the spoitfy playlist .. ..
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
Man I really hope the next record isn't too far down the line, this sound is immense!
every song just gets better and better!
Why cant I love this more than 3 times?
The fact that it's been 3 years and this hasn't hit a million views is the most depressing thing I can think of.
The new album is mind-blowing, I can´t stop listening and I´m hungry for more. Greetings from Argentina.
That is some GOOD playing.
So hot!! I think I need to start giving this album away as gifts to get more people on board.
we miss you guys
I am envious of your playing abilities sir but even more so of your awesome t-shirt collection
Easily my favorite song off the latest album. I love the story the music tells.
That was great...really into the zone.
This is song is Brutal. One of my favorite progressions in music.
Bea! You need to bring out memberships where you do lessons, mixing tutorials and all that stuff! Totes would pay!

OK OK OK!! I’m buying a bloody Kraken! 😂😜👍👍👍 Most exciting band to come out of the U.K. for a long time!!
Evil Ben on the drums, ladies and gents!
BOIII, Thick tone!
Need the tabs to these like you did with Ode to the Author! haha.
I kept drifting off and in and out listening on my headphones. Amazing tune sounds fantastic.
YES! This is awesome.
6:15 one of the sickest drops on the album. You guys killed it on all fronts.
It always amazes me how thick a three piece band can sound when I listen to Toska.
PS: We need a RigRundown ;)
Wait for it...Wait for it...Boom!
That heavy riff at the end is awesome!
Great song!!
I’m always amazed at how amazing you guys are😱
It’s funny cos when you see these guys live that’s how they perform. Amazing show as always
next level musicianship.
this sounds absolutely fucking massive
Guys you're f***ing awesome, the second album after 5 replay is like a beast in my ears, come in Belgium ! Cheers
Incredible!!
The vibe of this song reminds me of a band called "If these trees could talk". Great stuff!
Abomasum is just a fantastic song. It's like a well-told musical story with a strong and very characteristic melody and harmony. Just perfectly done how the bass, drums and guitar support each other, build fundament, structure and texture to create a very vivid piece of music. I adore listening to this, my eyes closed, and just immerse into those thunderous chords, growling bass lines and the on-point drumming. This is the Illumo of the album Fire by the Silos for me, although it is something completely different. I hope to see you in Hamburg again soon. Also the live production is as high quality as the studio version. Just fantastic.
the guitar an bass sound on the high gain parts are freaking awsome, great performance from all 3 of you, love the tune :)
My favourite track on the album!
Bravo !!!! Epic sound
Nice one guys. Thats tight.
This is badass!!!
So good!
Been a while since I was so blown away from the first listen of a song! Absolutely smashed it out the park!!
Awesome as always. :D
So Good!
Epic!!!
Hey guys, the album is clearly great. But THIS! Seeing you all rock out together has a way greater impression on me. #moreofthis
Good job guys. Epic as always !!!
This is so awesome! The musicianship is insane and y’all rocked it!
I love how you can tell which clip is which take just by the amount of sweat on Bea's guitar!
Holy smokes this songs is great . Awesome job you guys 🙌
I love this song!
Supa Kraken! Was waiting for it.
Flawless, inspired performance. Fucking BRILLIANCE!
Incredible. I would love to see Toska get commissioned to do a film soundtrack. Best fucking band ever.
Excellent stuff!
This is so nice. So so nice.
So badass guys!
That was as good live in London last month as it is here. Stil gave me shivers watching it I fucking love you guys
Sick! This is amazing!
