Hey guys, I’m Rabea. I'm the lead guitarist in Toska, Frog Leap & Dorje where I write music, make songs and have a great time with my mates. I also have my own line of guitars with Chapman Guitars, and I’ve designed numerous products with some really cool companies, such as the Victory Amps VX Kraken. Anyway, i hope you enjoy my videos, thank you for watching!

Peace & Love
My neighbors liked this song so much they called the police to come listen
Back already for a 2nd listen. Love it! I think this is the best you have souned as a band.
@@stephenbeaver2035 Yeah that room does the drums so well. Everything is well mic'd too.
😂Love It🤘🏼
farrrrk man, that sounds huge
You guys sound like a modern metal symphony. I love it.
Whoever thumbed down this video needs a swift but powerful kick in the taint...
Loving the sound of this, especially the bass. Much more prominent than the studio version \m/
Great bass tone
That has always been my complaint with this band. Dave mixes himself out!
i think in the album mixes there are upwards of three guitars playing to thicken the mix, there is only Bea's stereo setup here so the bass comes up a lot to compensate. Just my guess. Awesome band, and awesome sound
Better than the album. Dear fellow musicians- it's okay to track this way!
So when you said "soon" you clearly meant it Bea! XD
Dave’s bass sounds absolutely massive coupled with the guitar and drums. Killer performance, guys.
That ending! I'm in tears... so epic and emotional!
Ridiculous talent there!
Is it okay for me to prefer these "live in studio" versions over the recorded versions? Because while the music is obviously well-composed, the performances are fantastic, and the little imperfections (like the natural feedback and the clicks as the footswitches are engaged) only add to the experience. I would love to have the entirety of "Fire By The Silos" recorded entirely this way.
Hey with luck, we might get exactly that. Bea has talked about the possibility of a live version of FBTS, like Ode to the Author Live
you should do some videos breaking down your Toska songs and showing us how to play them. i would watch that!
he has a playthrou and tabs in the toska website
I gotta say as someone who has never really liked heavier metal or this style of music, this was AMAZING. I'm going to devour your guys' records.
Damn it’s a good thing these post video ads instantly smack me back to reality or else my boss would come in like hey are you frikkin crying right now?! Epic.
Fcuk man this is a good fkucking mix.
Hands down the best version of this song to date. And I doubt that'll change.
That was amazing! Took me on a ride like Pink Floyd can do. Great job. I could really hear a singer being on this one. Keep it up.
That outro is incredible!
Anyone know what tuning Bea uses on this track?
Most of toska stuff are in drop C
WTF! I cannot find the words to express just how effen filthy this song is...
Always incredible musicianship and feel, and soul, and depth, and friendship... what a band... Thanks Rabea... great music
This is really fantastic, guys! Your arrival points have always been one of the best things about your songs and you certainly do not disappoint here!
Sweet chord sequence towards the end......Moving👍
Is that the Chaplan Great Dictator speech?
This would be amazing played by an orchestra or sum
I was at metropolis for this. Incredible evening ❤️
Charlie Chaplin on vocals jeje
Aw, this is great! Really good performance by everyone! Though it is a shame that Dave gets a little buried in the mix here, especially since I really love his playing on Congress. But oh well, you can’t win em all haha!
Again, great work from everyone! Cheers : )
Edit: I was very wrong, bass sounds great as well, I was wearing my shitty earphones. Props to Mark!
Hey dude I am curious to know if you have heard of a band called Propagandhi and if so...thoughts?
Head over to the RolandUK page to see more of this amazing gig!!
Can you please post a specific link? I'm not looking to buy e-drums. I just wanted to see more of this set.
3 superb musicians, one huge wall of sound! Love it
Still love this song. A masterpiece in my mind. Getting goosebumps every time
God damn it's so good to hear a 3 person piece be able to pull off a masterpiece of a song like this.
Damn this sounds so amazing! You guys have such flow and the live performances are even better than the studio versions!
Bea looking unusually nervous until like 2 minutes into a song where he really gets into it! Like he was worried about the sound or something gear related. But playing was excellent as always!
Vladimir Pavlovic i noticed that too...
What makes a really, and I mean REALLY good band? Their ability to perform live. This one was outstanding. Gonna play that on repeat whilst working, cheers Bea and Co!
Amazing, Mr. Massaad. Nice composition.
Really great drumming as well! Great Friday clip guys! Thanks!!!!
I saw Toska live in Manchester last November and I knew Rabea was tall but it was never really obvious how tall he really was and I think this is the first video I’ve seen where it really shows off his height properly. I was proper shocked when I saw him towering over me in person
That was truly...................MAJESTIC..................
... and then I subbed.
Very cool song , I really like it 👍
If Rush and Queensrÿche had a baby in 2019...
Keep it up guys. Your tracks tell stories for us listeners.
Again and again! So nice!
4:27 - fffffffffuuuuuuuuuu...........
If you play it they will come. And we did. Cheers Boys. 🎸👍🎸👌🎸
this is such an epic song
Wicked
just wow 😍
Did you guys get to jam with The Physics House Band at all?
that was some TASTY bass
Dude y'all have always been awesome!!!
Giant Bea)))
Maybe get a volume pedal for the intro bea Still incredibly sick though
Truly excellent stuff guys :)
You gotta tell us the combination of effects going on at 4:27.
it's the sonic equivalent of a titan laying a worthless city towards it's demise. it's so massive.
Agreed. Not sure if it's the lack Wah'd out bass, but I cannot replicate this sound with the gear I have.
Look at his stereo rig - video. I guess its his high gain with n POG, maybe some fuzz n delay, same as in Illumo at the beginning of the heavy part.
But yes, its hard to replicate ... Its just... immense!
There's prerecorded strings dojng the high octavey layers but the synthy growl is entirely on Dave's board. The pedal is a Boss SYB-5 (or that's what he used in the studio, could be a Keeley Synth-1 here) and he has an expression pedal controlling the sweep of the envelope filter. Sounds nasty through distortion.
Nice!
so sick
Monster and Epic are two words that come to mind.
much love
The Allan Watts part was unexpected but made the song way better for some reason
It's not Allan Watt, its Charlie Chaplin. It's from the film The Great Dictator. Just thought you might like to know :)
Loved that speech at the end. Just amazing as this song man!
Complimenti, bel Lavoro, Non è il mio genere, ma resta un bel lavoro, e poi suonate per 5 ..
Damn, better late than never. Just recently discovered Rabea. Awesome musician. Damn good band as a whole.
I've just discovered him in the last 2 weeks! And toska only this morning!!
Absolutely incredible
Dude this is one of the best things I've heard! Thank you for uploading this. This has become on of my favorite albums, so hearing the songs live is always so satisfying. I'll be giving this one a ton of plays!
Tight mix. Stank face for the whole song, great job \m/
Man, this performance is exceptional! You know, the best songs are those you like more and more the more often you hear them. I fell in love with this piece after a couple listenings and I am pretty sure that this song will become a classic for many of us.
You dirty dirty boys
You're truly the MOST AWESOME Musicians I ever listen in a long long time... keep going and sharing this fantastic sounds and videos... YOU'RE EPIC my friends! Love your art!
Unbelievable! You guys sound absolutely fantastic.
More than machinery, we need humanity.
Great stuff guys , superb music creativity and execution
you guys are fuckin insane...gave me goosebumps. Keep at it, cheers form Mexico.
amazing final part/ touch my heart!
E P I C...
It would be interesting to know what the set up of Ben's drumkit is, obviously its more than the simple hi-hat/crash/ride set of cymbals
Damn, this Drummer is incredibly. Switching from left to the right hand. Awesome.
Robert Krefft hes left handed so its probably natural for him
fucking amazing! And btw, not usual to see a "Carter Beauford" kind of "drummer" ;) Top! See you at the summer Festivals here in Portugal! We hope so! :) All the best! ;)
As a very old blues guitarist I find this to be most stimulating.
Immense!
Wonderful performance, great song, solid chemistry! Spot on as always, keep smashing it lads
These videos are fantastic!! Hoping for a live album like you did with ode to the author :D
I love this track, it's easily my favorite one on toska's latest album. I'm glad to see it translates well live.
Once again.. Lost for words. Tightest and most powerful prog trio out there
IN. SANE. I love this piece so friggin' much. The simplicity of the final chord progression, feeling the 4/4 and just hitting it hard, after all the five-madness. GOOD stuff guys
Wow. Blown away by this. You guys rock! What effect are you triggering at 4:27 to get that massive synth sound?
The swelling noise is Dave's bass. The synth is pre-recorded and played to a click, same as the voiceover work!
There's prerecorded strings but the synthy growl is entirely on Dave's board. The pedal is a Boss SYB-5 (or that's what he used in the studio, could be a Keeley Synth-1 here) and he has an expression pedal controlling the sweep of the envelope filter. Sounds nasty through distortion.
This song was incredible
what a great song/band! great stuff guys!!
This is exactly what I needed to get through the day ... thank you so much bea and the rest of the gang ... toska is the best thing that has ever happened to music.
Mind blowing track. awesome🤘😁🤘
this Genuinely kicked the arse off me! absolutely phenomenal!! stank face, goosebumps, and tears welling up. Woah!!
The drums in this song are awesome
a stunning exhibition of sonic mastery, and very pleasurable listening
I hope you guys are wearing ear protection. I played loud rock music for decades and at 63 cant hear well. Many of my friends are the same.
Soundproof-fro
Just phenomenal.
I wish i could see a show with these guys and town portal together but i know itll never happen 😔
Drummer sounds similar to Neil Peart from RUSH
Why would anyone downvote this? WTF
Amazing playing
Such a good song!!!
I absolutely love Toska. So glad I found this music.
