@@Lovemesomekitties And "Jump The Shark" can refer to many tactics or changes that signify the original premise of the show has failed to generate new episodes. Characters leaving the show, like the Cunningham's eldest son, sometimes because an actor got tired of being on the show or the writers couldn't find ways to keep writing relevent material for them, or adding new characters, like Chaci, to try to spark interest of new viewers, or having guest stars, like the Simpsons having Bette Midler, Leonard Nimoy or Michael Jackson voice their characters, and of course, having an episode with a plot that has absolutely nothing to do with the premise of the show. @James Satterfield I remember seeing the movie at the Savoy Theatre in Stockton NSW, Australia in1973, or maybe early 1974 as movies did the rounds of the big city cinemas before getting out to smaller suburban and regional cinemas.
My favorite jokes were when Ralph Mouth said that his parents were named Mickey and Minnie, and when Richie Took the picture of the TV clown without his makeup. Someone said that seeing him without his makeup would be like seeing the Lone Ranger without his mask, or as Marion chimed in, "Like Tarzan without his loincloth."

A "rom-com anthology",
not a "variety show".
"Love" was cancelled in Jan. 1974, and then "Happy D." came on in shortly after as mid season show, on another time slot. ABC needed more ratings, so elevated "Fonz" to main cast, and added the loud studio audience in fall 1975.
@@tomcat630 The "studio audience" was the worst decision ever made. They should've kept the show as a studio-only production so that the sets, particularly the Cunningham home of Series 1, made sense. Adding a studio audience ruined the series.

Another problem with
doing it with videotape/audience--
no more exteriors.
Best episode of the series--
"The Big Money"
("I don't know. I guess I lose.")
Al Molinaro was also on The Odd Couple TV series.
You forgot to mention that Don Most was the voice actor of Eric the Cavalier in the mid 80's cartoon Dungeons and Dragons
The best character was Suzi Quatro as Leather Tuscadero. SOOOOOO HOT
Was she on Mork and Mindy
@@donbrashsux Was not on her IMDB bio

That's the episode with
Ralph & Leather trying to be
sophisticated & be taken
more seriously.
I would like to meet Ron Howard in person
Great show! I watched all the episodes. The show lost a little steam when Richie and Ralph left but it was still good. Entertaining and clean unlike the shows on TV today.
I always thought Bill Barr reminded me of Fred Flintstone but I was wrong. It was Tom Bosley.
Hey folks . . . get this . . . about 1988, in San Francisco . . . I saw a road show version of "Arsenic and Old Lace". Marian Ross, along with Jean Stapleton ("Dingbat"/"All in The Family"), they played the Brewster sisters. Larry Storch ("Corporal Randolph Agarn"/"F Troop") played "Dr. Einstein". But, the GREATEST treat, was for me to see the GREAT Jonathan Frid, as "Jonathan Brewster" . . . much of America's favorite vampire, Barnabas Collins!!
Even in videos about the cast they forget about Richie's Brother who goes upstairs with his basketball and never comes down
What about Winkler's Hank Zipster ? Great stuff.
'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy Mr C 👍
I remember seeing it on tv at my grandmas in the 2000s actually 🤔
Why aren't All seasons available for purchase?
🤔
Chachi , 50's kid with the 70's hair style.
Have you checked on Amazon?
@Berry Harbour No, Peter Tork was in "The Monkees ".
Some of them appeared on The Love Boat x
What about Chuck? The older brother who existed for the first season who disappeared, and was never mentioned again! Nobody gives Chuck Cunningham any love.
Mystery 1 season

@@DYR yes I did watch Happy Days a long time ago but having a little memory lapse in which shows I liked best.
Ralph & Potsie being Roommates trying entertain 2 dates ( Pots lost his voice & Ralph's jokes are stale 😂) Richie &/or Fonzie knots on the 🚪 the fellas says "in come" & 1 of the dates says "😅 PLEASE 🤣!!"
Couldn't stomach chachi.Winkler also played in here comes the boom.
Each character touched so many people differently. Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Tom Bosley and Marion Ross who played Richie Cunningham, The Fonzie, Mr Howard Cunningham and Mrs Marion Cunningham respectfully did an excellent job in acting.

My favorite character was Fonzie
Kid of the 70's here,
Good times (pop culture-wise). The "jump the shark" moment was cringe before I knew what the word meant
Haha true
The move to California should've improved the show but it didn't. Same with Laverne and Shirley.
CHUCK CUNNINGHAM wasn't the
Only character who vanished from Happy Days By the way.actors
Gavan O Herlihy and Randolph Roberts Both did an excellent job of playing Chuck Cunningham
Here's a list of several.characters
Who have vanished from Happy Days: BAG ZOMBROSKI (Neil J Schwartz ) Moose Barry Greenberg EUGENE.Belvin(Denis Mandel) Melvin Belvin Scott Bernstein Trudy(Tita Bell)
SPIKE Danny Butch Flip Phillips
(Billy Warlock) KC Cunningham
(Crystal Bernard) Marsha Simms
Beatrice Colen and Wendy (Misty
Rowe ) Are.there any.. other TV shows characters.who.dissapead
From Happy Days that I missed
Or . that I did. Not mention.
I watched entire show, right up to the last episode, when Joanie and Chachi, were married... I was a big fan of The Fonz... I wish they would release, seasons 7, right up to 11
Garry Marshal liked to remind people that Happy Days lasted another 200 episodes after Fonzie jumped the shark.
what a lovely show happy days & when eren died of cancer we thought it was over but cared on their be sorely missed ?
Fonzie never had to jump the shark, but he did it anyway. I don't know why.
Don Most wS in MASH as well in the 2nd season I believe along with Ron Howard .
Too many Ads in this video.
Ralf almost looks the same, just older.

I loked The Fonze. You guys forgot Harry Winkler was the OB/GYN doctor in Parks and Recreation
I watched the show until Ron and Donny left. By then it had become too hokey anyhow. The thing I really came to dislike was them having Anson sing in seemingly every episode. Too much Potsie for me. Donny is a better singer anyhow.
"Eeeyyyyyyyyy; correcto mundo. First season. The best; downhill after that.....
