As a child in the late 70s I started watching reruns of Bewitched in the afternoons after school. Even as a kid I thought Montgomery was incredibly beautiful. It sucks that Cancer took her in her early 60s.

Samantha is my favorite character. She is the heart of BEWITCHED. Elizabeth and the writers and producers broke the mold of our perceptions of witches. Sam is a strong, intelligent, caring, and loving person. She stood between Darrin and, later her own family, and her relatives. These are the traits of Elizabeth Montgomery. ❤ Elizabeth had her Mother's eye brows, which she said once that casting directors wanted to change. Liz told them to forget it. She also had her Mom's diamond or angular face. York worked regularly in seasons one and two. I understand the set builders built a slant board that helped along with special furniture or he'd be filmed lying down. By season three, his condition was getting worse. By the end of his time on the show, York was in bad shape, to the point he had a temperature of 105 degrees when he passed out and taken to the hospital. According to Asher in a late 90s interview, he said that York went into a coma. York didn't tell Asher or Akerman about his injury. But i give kudos for quitting the drugs, but he smoked right up until the end.
That show was a staple at our home!! Shows were something special back then!! I loved studying the tv guide and they even had tv lineups in the newspaper!!

I love them all! But stylewise: you can’t beat Endora. Helen Roper’s spirit animal, and mine. And can we talk a moment about Serena? Was she Sam’s identical cousin? I’d also like to give a shout out to the cars, sets and Kravitzs
Bewitched happened to be on TV the year I was born. It was entering its second season. I basically watched it all the way up and then when it was in reruns. I was a huge fan of Elizabeth Montgomery as well as Marion Lorne, Agnes Moorehead, and Paul Lynde. I became a schoolteacher in the 90s and I began to read Edna Buchanan novels and I was so excited because the first movie was coming out and of course it starred Elizabeth Montgomery. I couldn’t of been happier and I was so sad after the second movie that she had passed because it would’ve been a great series. That year, I went to a book signing by Edna Buchanan at a bookstore in Miami Beach on Lincoln Road. She signed my book which I believe was her third novel, and we had a nice conversation about education in America. We also talked about Elizabeth Montgomery. She was heartbroken.
I happen to love both Darren‘s. I loved York for his neurosis. His emotional responses and over-the-top mannerisms. I also liked him for his tenderness and his love for Sam which was obvious. The second Darren, I loved Sargeant for his cynicism. I liked the fact that he played it as if it was old hat and it didn’t matter what Endora or anyone else threw at him, he would be the reluctant hero and get through it. And I also liked him for his love for Sam. In the end he couldn’t resist her. Both were very good. To me the problem with that end of the series was they kept rehashing old scripts instead of being more imaginative. I think that hurt the show.
You also mentioned Lassie. Remember when Timmy fell in the well? Mandela Effect. That episode does not exist now. Even though Jon Provost named his book Timmy's in the well? Millions of us remember watching the Timmy's in the well episode.
You said, Thanks for the MEMORIES. If you were referencing the Bob Hope song then you like millions of others of us are affected by The Mandela Effect. The song is now and has always been Thanks for the MEMORY. Thanks for your content.
Having watched Bewitched many times, from when it first aired to just recently binge-watching every episode, I can honestly say you forgot the best character/performance of the show. That is of course Sabrina!
@voozoo1606 Absolutely Princess Diana was married to a bad guy, who is now the king of the UK and married to his affair partner. If you didn't follow the British society news at the time, you might not be aware of the scandal and speculation that she was murdered by hit men hired by Charles and the rest of the royal family. I was barely aware of it myself, but it's become more of an issue lately when Princess Kate disappeared for awhile earlier this year. It saddens me that Diana is already forgotten.
I loved all the characters really. I think all of them made it what it was. The changing of the Darren's that's kind of awful for me at least. But it was nice to see him not be so mean to her all the time for her awesome magic.
I was about 10 when the show was going and I had a big crush on "Samantha". I imagined I would grow up and marry a blonde haired blue eyed woman. I did.
It's sad that the characters had to come to an end because of other shows. I actually did not watch dukes of Hazzard. I actually like watching Bewitched. And personally if I had her powers I would do a lot of things in my home. Although having some sense of non-magical normalcy. That's awesome nice. All in all the show was great I only got to see reruns but it would have been nice to have more episodes of it.
Jesus Christ died for our Sins according to the scriptures and that he was Buried and he rose Again the third day praise God praying for everyone Everyday God bless you all...
I definitely liked the “first” Darrin better. Dick Sargent (Darrin #2) always seemed like he was angry about something, just needing “one more thing” to happen so that an all out tantrum could be justified.
Elizabeth Montgomery is the most beautiful woman to have ever graced our TV and movie screens; she was so elegant and urbane. And to you, I offer this criticism because I enjoy your channel. The past tense of “to seek” is “sought” not “seeked.” Take a look at strong and weak English verbs. You can’t just append an “-ed” to every infinitive to make a verb past tense. You make this type of mistake in most videos.
Shows that Dick Sergeant was as normal as everyone else. Don't play into/perpetrate the gay stereotype. Dick had just 2 lifelong marriages/partners. You can't always tell if someone's gay or not. Don't judge people and just be nice to people.
What is going on why won't Tabitha Erin Murphy mention her grandparents Mrs Stevens I loved Phyllis Stevens I actually thought she said funny she was the best actress on that show what's wrong with terrify why didn't she like her grandma Mrs Stevens could you please please ask her Sandy from Australia very confused about Mrs Stevens the very funny lady😅
,, @kh0034 He's talking about King Charles who snuck around on Diana with Camilla while he was married to Diana. After their divorce, Diana was killed in a tragic car wreck together with her new boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed, and there is still speculation that it was a murder arranged by Charles and the royal family. Because, you see, Charles would not be allowed to be King if he remarried after his divorce, and he so badly wanted to marry Camilla. He's still considered a bad guy by a lot of British citizens, although many have accepted his marriage to Camilla and her being crowned and called "Queen Camilla". It blew up a bit earlier this year when Princess Kate disappeared for a few months and people speculated that William was following in his father's footsteps. There are several videos here that tell the story of Princess Diana if you want to dig into it. Diana should never be forgotten.

Elizabeth is a magical memory of a wonderful time of life. RIP, Samantha

If only there were some reliable mechanism for the people of the south to avoid being destroyed by hurricanes literally EVERY summer.
We need to pray for the responders, also; the linemen, the ones moving trees, etc. 😢 their safety.

My favorite was someone you failed to include, Gladdis Cravitz. ABNER!!!!!

York
The show would never have taken off if Dick Sargent had been Darrin from the beginning.
My favorite character is definitely the sweet old innocent Aunt Clara!💗
Use to work with a busy body guy coworkers and I nick named him Mrs Cravits.
God rest all their beautiful souls
All York all the time!!
awesome

I preferred Sargent. But I didn't know how he lived, off screen
Favorite was Tabitha

Please quit the woke virtue signaling. I grew up on this show and what you say roughly 4 minutes in has nothing to do with it.
Yeah, and stop censoring all my responses to the religious propaganda guy!
Wonder what ever happened to Serena? She was my favorite. ❤
it's erin not aaron @ last chapter
Then: There
Now: Not here
My favourite darin was dick York endora was my favourite character followed by Samantha and Serena
I like Dick York better and Tabitha she has her own show back in the 70s.
Her husband Darrwn

I thought they were mixing her up with the character Wonder Woman, who is an Amazonian princess, and had the name Diana Prince. @Psalm1267
It was meant as a joke because in the comics Wonder Woman’s “true identity” was Princess Diana of Themyscira
@@Jmmoffa lol - I didn't know that. I don't read comics so that was totally missing from my world. Great joke! 🙂
