He asked his dad (Herman) to go out onstage and distract the audience while he tried to fix the robot. Everyone thought Herman was the robot, loved him, and Eddy won the science fair! (Herman was hurt to find out the audience loved him as a robot... NOT as a person).

I met Al Lewis at Universal City studios back in the late 60s. He was a really nice guy that seemed pleased when my dad asked to take a picture of my sister and I flanking him. Afterward, my dad and he shook hands and he said to enjoy our tour and we were welcome any time.

I can't say which episode was my favorite they were all good . But I do have my favorites like the one when Herman races the family car , the one when they build the go cart for Eddie's Birthday, the one when they find the treasure in their yard and the one when tries out for baseball with guess star Leo Durocher . But as I type I just keep thinking of another good episode ! SO MANY are good . Hoestly back then is when TV was the best . Things were left to the imagination. Wholesome, funny and no explicits . Great video and I love The Munsters! My mom watched the show while she was growing up and so did I. I liked all of the characters, but I think that I liked the teen girl since she was normal and I believe that she was a witch, wiccan, or an Indigo or something like that because in a few episodes, there were references or guesses as to what she was or might be. We may never know for sure though. I think I liked all the episodes since I cannot remember any specific ones right at the moment. Thank you for sharing these updates on the cast.
I always liked the crazy cars. The best episode was when Grandpa built the Drag-gu-la car to get the the family car back from the loss of a bet on the race.
There were actually two cars, Dragula, which was grandpa’s (looked like a coffin), and the coach, which was a hearse. Rob Zombie wrote a song inspired by Dragula.
Favorite character on the show was "Spot" the doggy (or should we say, Dragon). We never got a good look at him, but I guess hanging out in the shadows under the main staircase, you could only get just a glimpse.

I loved this show. I didn't miss an episode. When it didn't come back the 3ed season I was upset. I also live bewitched and I dream of Jeannie. Now most shows on are pretty much boring. I have no interest in them. My favorite character was Herman. He and grandpa were so funny together!

I loved this show. I didn't miss an episode. When it didn't come back the 3ed season I was upset. I also live bewitched and I dream of Jeannie. Now most shows on are pretty much boring. I have no interest in them. My favorite character was Herman. He and grandpa were so funny together!
This show SHOULD have been on the aire til Marilyn got married has 1st child and Eddie went to college. And spin off of Fred, Lily and Grandpa as empty nesters that would have been a hoot 😀
