"without making fun of or degrading a politician or anyone."
He degraded the hell out of Wayne Newton.
I never saw that. But I guess if he didn’t like Wayne Newton he could have made fun of him but I never saw him doing that so as far as I’m concerned he earned the title of Best Late nite host of all. When Robin Willians was on it was halarious. The two of them were so funny because Robin was so off the wall any way.
Yes indeed. He was the best of them all. Except for the baby orang-utan twins.
No one better night time show he did it all Johnny sorely missed
R.I.P. JOHNNY
👍😎💙🙏
I miss that kind of entertainment!
Johnny was a first class host/entertainer
It sure is great to be able to still enjoy him! We miss you Johnny 💋💔😭
He did everything. He was afraid but he did it all. Johnny Carson was the GOAT.
Nobody beats Johnny!
Luv Johnny. No one can even come close to him and his show.
I grew up watching Johnny Carson he was the best. I still like watching reruns
I loved the Johnny Carson show!
Johnny Carson demonstrated that comedy could be good clean fun. He was a true genius. Miss him and all the staff of the tonight show. 🙏🏻👍🏻💕
“Clean” fun like when he stuck his hand down Sally Field’s shirt? I guess it was “clean” because his hand was filled with shaving cream.
To me Johnny Carson represents 20 century’s. America ! Every night you could count on heeeeeeeeeeeeres johnny !
HE WAS A MASTER!
As a youngin not familiar with Johnny this is SUCH a treat, thank you for putting this together
Class act, would love to see that level of comedy and professionalism alive today...he was the best.
What a versatile talk show host.
He was the greatest!
Never will be another one like Johnny. I enjoyed him for many years. RIP Johnny Thank You for all the entertainment.
Carson had so much class.
No one can top Johnny. Thank you for this.
Hello dear,how are you doing?
One expression from Johnny had the world laughing. This was all live too. The animals were present for a very short time with Joan onstage and handlers off camera. This would never fly today. The overly sensitive would have this ripped off the air on day one. I'm so glad I retained my sense of humor and can laugh at good natured fun. I miss Johnny, Ed and Doc. Thanks for these memories❤
Great to see his bloopers and his crazy comedy!
Back when "late night" was worth staying up for, thank you Ed and Johnny!!!
