Brought back so many memories. My dad would watch Johnny every night. I was a little girl and slept in the room by the tv. Everytime the zoo animals came on, I would join my dad to watch!
Carson was definitely not happy, but Fowler was laughing as he went backstage. Up to this point, I had never seen Johnny Carson move as fast as he did that night... 😂😂🤣🤣
I am 60 now, and I think most of us in my age group miss him as well. I would watch Johnny with my Mom while massaging her tired, sore feet. We would laugh so hard that we would wake up Dad from a sound sleep!! Somehow watching these hilarious, innocent clips that bring true laughter, I find healing. Laughter is the Best Medicine. Johnny was a great healer without even knowing it.
I saw Johnny Carson in Park City Utah one day. There was no mail delivery so we had to get our mail at the post office and I saw him at the post office.
There used to be a seal pond at Knott’s Berry Farm in the 1960s, buying a small bag of fish for them was 25 cents. I even petted one of the seals. By the 1970s, this pond was covered over with cement …
Great man mr. Fowler you were great with animals. Oh the batt wow I laugh so hard I would have passed out. Miss you Johnny you made a difference in this world.

The dropped on Johnny's desk, not on him. I don't know why Johnny got so mad. It wasn't like the bat fell on top of him. And it wasn't like it was a vampire bat.
Johnny Carson, in real life, was a power trippin, vindictive as*, believe it or dont, truth is what it is. He blackballed aeveral comedians and actors, like joan rivers, because they dared to do what was best for their careers. People dont kniw what walt disney truly was, either
I always thought Johnny had a mean streak and bad temper just under the surface. I didn't like the way he interacted with some of these animals just to get a laugh (like "challenging" them with mugging facial expressions), and he always rudely talked over Joan Embry when she tried to share information about them. Jim Fowler was great, though, and it was always a laugh when he was on.
It was a GLORIOUS time to be alive and remember when Late night TV was GREAT.
The late night hosts now don’t come close to how good Johnny Carson was.
No politics no curse words just fun and funny entertainment. Those were good times I am glad I was on that ride.
Rest In Peace To Mr. Fowler. He was an amazing advocate for animals.
Jim Fowler and Marlin Perkins had an incredible show with, Wild Kingdom. I never missed watching that program as a kid. 🤗
He died in 2019. This is just a clip.
This is just a clip?? LOL
He was the very best tv host I loved watching him 😊😊😊😊
I miss Johnny so much. This is hilarious 😂
Johnny, Jim and critters. Way good.
The bat tested Johnny's reflexes.
😂😂😂😂😂
All that tennis playing paid off!
Beautiful blonde Joan was excellent as well
Now that’s entertainment. Wonderfully genuine and so funny. Thank you for posting these videos.
If Johnny was still here, our lives would be soo much better?!!!
ABSOLUTELY!!
@@jmb-bj9gs 👍👍👍👍👍

I loved watching Johnny and Ed in the mid to late 80s as a kid. That was so Johnny to throw the banana and glove at Jim 😂
Miss this era
Johnny and Jim LIVE ON!!!!!! True honest laughter and Joyful entertainment. Cannot be replaced, and gone forever. But NOT FORGOTTEN! TY
Johnny: "what are these?"
Jim: "just regular fish" 😂😂

Used to be one of my favorite parts of the show. I've had a hell of a day and this made me feel so much better. Thank you.
Glad you found this video to watch!
Me too.
I always loved to watch Johnny Carson
Johnny's sidekick Ed McMahon was a combat aviator and colonel in the Marine Corps.
Carson was definitely not happy, but Fowler was laughing as he went backstage. Up to this point, I had never seen Johnny Carson move as fast as he did that night... 😂😂🤣🤣
I turned 41 in 1987 and remember this episode 😊

Nowadays the late night hosts are not even funny , just political activists pushing their crappy political agenda so fake 😢 ,what a shame
Segments like these, especially on Conan were very enjoyable!
Conan wasn't even born when Johnny started The Tonight Show ! 🤪
I never could see Conan actually interact with the animals like Johnny did. He just constantly yelled.
We loved you Johnny.

something Fallon wouldn't do! You were the best Johnny and loved Jim's humor!

Lol! This was hilarious, alright. But, nothing (repeat: _nothing_ ) will ever top Johnny's reaction to Jim losing control of a massive Goliath beetle!
My favorite, been looking for this episode for over twenty years, thank you!
Such a well behaved sea lion!
Sea lion pump faking that frisbee 😂
the sea lion is amazing and beautiful!

Best late night host ever. Nowadays there is only one I watch J.K.
Wonderful 😊
I always got a kick out the animals he had on, especially when they had their way with Johnny. He was a good sport.
Clever sea-lion.
Shout out to the Cincinnati zoo.

No late night host will ever match Johnny’s Witt, they are all filled with lies and political hate now
