Best new track, without a doubt. It sounds like the end of the new live version of Talk Show Host was kinda incorporated into it (the guitar bit at the end).
@@liadcohen8327 still not last 🙂 also, am i the only who feels like Bending Hectic is very out of place in this album? (not in a bad way) it could stand alone as a single and not be included in any albums, it's so impactful and heavy on its own. It blew their entire catalogue out of the water for me
@@spatchko I don't know if that can be a thing, for anything to be "out of place" on an album made by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood. They always show a range on every record, and they intentionally subvert expectations. I think because it came out early and felt like a stand alone song, it feels like it already existed that way, and not in the context of the record it might feel odd. But you could say the same thing about Lucky on OK Computer. Or half a dozen other songs that we heard long before they were put on records, and then maybe they felt different in the new context.
The smile LP2 is coming. Not long ago thom said the smile was “7 weeks deep in the studio.” And Phil had mentioned that before the next Radiohead project starts, (if there ends up being one) they all wanna see their projects through to their natural ends. Phil and Ed have projects too. Honestly I’d be okay with AMSP being the last one. It’s kinda the perfect end cap for Radiohead’s legacy.
It's so delicate and gorgeous and then Jonny stomps that fuzz at the end and takes it to another level. Hot damn! I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for the next 3 months that they play this one in Portland.

Just Eyes and Mouth is based on the Radiohead jam at the end of (live versions of) Talk Show Host :)
heard this on sunday in London. one of my favourites from the smile already
This will be the last song on the next album. Mark my words.
it was not.

holy shit this sounds so peaceful and ethereal, I hope they do more with it but don't over do it, it sounds so good the way it is already
They played this in London last Sunday - amazing!
Awaiting for footage from anyone to upload 👀
We need a second album pronto, mind you Radiohead have been known to have songs for literally decades before putting the songs on albums
Last I heard they were “7 weeks deep in the studio” working on LP2 according to thom.
If it has this song and Teleharmonic I’ll be happy.
@@RustinCholeit was confirmed that it wouldnt be on the album sadly
@@modifiedb0y teleharmonic?!
@@RustinChole noo bending hectic, sorry i didn’t phrase that well

Another new track! There’s either going to be another Smile album next year or a Radiohead one.

Good morning, Mr Nobody
I try to be no sad.
I try.
Thank you
Beautiful sound.

This song blends all the best aspects of The Smile. You get both their more dreamy side and finish off with their aggressive side.
It's so delicate and gorgeous and then Jonny stomps that fuzz at the end and takes it to another level. Hot damn! I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for the next 3 months that they play this one in Portland.
might be thom's bass but I agree
@@chopa3000 it is Thom's bass, I was there (and actually recorded this, Daniel reuploaded my recording)
I hope thats an "Unreleased... yet"
Knowing radiohead these song can be unreleased for decades lol
Somehow makes me think to like spinning plates, mostly with Thom's vocals, except the very ending ofc
Best the smile song shame it was not on album
Looks like down chorus
Finally, after all this time!
better than anything on the album
Jesus. That album is excellent. But yeah maybe
It sounds a bit abstract, even as an improvisation, a kind of dissonance, but there is freedom in this..
Like a Jeff Buckley demo
Are you sad?
Where are you?
Good morning Mr. Nobody.
I TRY.

Daniel Stashkin must be related to Thom Yorke or Nigel Godrich...
why can't it just be a fan? they've been doing that for years
@@paulimbacana just saying... it is actually funny thinking of it... perhaps, the fact that he is only a fan is even more impressive for me.
Nah, he's just a fan, this is my recording (you can find it on my channel)
@@DavideDF awesomeeee!!!
Sounds like it’s in the same style as cut a hole
RIP radiohead.
lmao
Thanks, Nigel!
the new RADIOHEAD song ???
Thanks.
I'm here under your sky, now.
Welcome Mr Nobody. ❤️

Good luck 🤞 guys . It's about to get real 👌
What
/where in London last Sunday? Thought they are on hiatus until US?
All Points East
I can see this being used as a closer, but considering Teleharmonic I wouldn't place bets on it.
😀
I love you Daniel
