I've been wanting a SSW for a good while now, and I think this is the model I'm most fond of. But they made so many diff color options it's almost polarizing to choose only one. And although I have not owned any Zodiacs yet, I can vouch for them making an excellent rubber strap. Another great review, thanks!

I have found that some of these vintage-type straps tend to be long, which is not optimal for those of us with more slender wrists. Quality looks great though. 👍⌚
For the price, sadly, it is extremely underwhelming - too small to be relevant in the modern space. An update to 40mm+ would better serve the brand. Also, no effort has been made to use different polishing to create distinction. But then again, they don't need to, I suppose, since there are no lines of distinction in the case design. But that reveals that the price isn't justified. Comically, there is no steel band - this is the killer. It is nice to have a variety of rubber straps, but they ought only serve as alternatives to a steel bracelet. And at that price point, it's like theft, since Zodiac does make a bracelet for the Sea Wolf. I would also point out that 20ATM depth rating shouldn't even qualify as a dive watch, since it does not distinguish itself from hundreds of other watches with the same rating that do not advertise themselves thusly. Of course, nearly 100% of owners will never test out the true depth rating of the watch in dive conditions, agreed. But still, Maybe they ought to try and get Swiss TP COSC certified. The only redeeming quality of this watch is the lume colour, but even it isn't very bright, nor for very long. I would also point out that Swiss TP is NOT an 'in-house movement', in the same way that ETA is not an in-house movement for Omega or Swatch, despite SwatchGroup ownership. Zodiac is headquartered in Texas, with manufacturing in Bienne, Switzerland. Whereas Swiss TP is manufactured in Glovelier, Jura. I know I am nit-picking, but that is what we do as watch journalists.
Yeah, of course you can make it bigger, with a better depth rating and COSC-movement but then you wouldn't get a vintage skin diver with a Swiss movement for under 1k.
@@valebliz Except that I hold five PADI certifications, I wouldn't use the adjective clueless. You expose yourself as doubtlessly unaware of the true water resistance of a 20ATM-rated instrument. In application, a watch with that rating is sufficient for perhaps 8ATM of reliable use. A watch that is rated for 20ATM is sufficient for shallow water recreational diving only. It is not a professional instrument, despite juking you into thinking that it is. The tolerances of these watches is insufficient in application.

Standard ISOfrane-style: 80mm/126mm
Accordion-style: 75mm/120mm
Tropic-style: 80mm/125mm
Great watch. They do make some great straps but unfortunately only ship to the US and Canada. Shame, as I would buy multiple colours and bracelets
