good roundup of all the exciting things coming up. hope you can get all the costumes you want. i’m undecided at the moment, i won’t pull until i at least see the stats on Aerith and Tifa’s collab outfits and weapons.

My plan is to just pour everything into the Monster Hunter collab .. and then save everything else up for the 1 year anniversary.
I think alot of people are considering the same, have you got any outfit you want more than the others purely on visuals alone?
@@Tomrom52 Tifa's looks amazing. And I only have 1 costume for her - her cowgirl Rebirth outfit. But I do want to see what they do. I want to get at least one copy of all the weapons. I'd lean towards Cait Sith, too but, I haven't used him yet. Lots to think about, for sure. Thankfully this will last an entire month and give me plenty of time to decide.

Vincent will come with massive debuffs, trust me, its the square way. hope they push out massive amounts of gems so i can maybe get some pulls in as well.
Monster Hunter could be amazing visually, boob protector cloud costume doesnt get me, but the sword is decent.
Sadly i have learned collab and limited banners are off limit if youre below 100k gems... so yeah... lets not get too excited here.
Zack looks good, weapon looks strong, but keep in mind this is ob10, which no free to play will ever reach. so we can assume it does 600% dmg for free to play
Tifa costume again looks like i cannot skip...
Aerith also super nice.
I dont know how i can pull for 4 costumes, but there is always a small piece of hope they will give out at least one of those costumes for free.
not too sure what to make of getting 3 ff7 characters back to back to back, while they release 2 new crisis core chapters but zack is still alone. (where tf is Genesis?! where is Angeal???)

August part 2 summer? maybe 30k
September powercreep 120k gems+
yeah.. dunno when to save... dunno what to skip XD i would guess from experience it is the best choice to hardskip Monsterhunter weapons and 1st anniversary weapons, but oh well...
im super glad they realized the story mode is WAY too hard to beat. the newest 1st soldier boss battle is insane if those chumps are not maxed out. And i believe im not the only one who didnt build Glenn/Matt and Sephiroth... yes many ppl will have sephiroth but lucia not... so ppl have 1 character roughly vs a 180k difficulty boss XD
A lot of people switched to Matt, he is a better support than Aerith therefore i wouldnt be surprised.

Gonna be hard for me to pass on Cloud especially since I missed out on the FFIX crossover. Also I’m officially giving up on trying to squeeze Barrett into my top five mains. No costume support means no play for me
I know this feeling! for me, i'm gonna bite the bullet and accept not getting cloud, but only because im gonna go for Zack since i didnt play during thunder god cloud era

I'm not a big gacha guy, but originally started playing EC for the VII story. D1 player here and I've logged in every day; sure got me hooked.

The story should be something anyone can get through, hell ive been playing since the start and even i died to the final boss of FS Ch.7 and to Dyne. Glad to hear they are making changes cause it was really too much, and no doubt has been driving players away. Crossover looks cool but im not that big into MH so ill be saving for Vincent and maybe even that Yuffie summer banner if its any good, really wanna see the crossovers keep coming though, hopefully we get Nier or Persona some time.
I appreciate the feedback on the story content! And I agree that MH isn't my cup of tea, but it's exciting to have a collab because that means more in the future :))

Vincent in July as expected. in September anniversary, probably 1st Soldier new chapter with Young Angeal playable. Cid in October. There is a video of Vincent, but all youtubers arent showing it.

Hopefully young Angeal is the next playable character after Vincent
i feel like he will once they update FS story. Just like how young Seph was revealed at the end of the story chapter and then was released, Young Angeal might get the same treatment. Just my speculation

Not sure, but I hope so. Rumor has it that the Cait Sith costume might be an event reward or something like that. I would like to see some more costumes that don't require stamp cards to obtain
Dude I haven’t done the crash event. No one helps 😂 maybe if I create a UA-cam account and do videos like this I might have a 2 audience and that’s all I take to get it done. I hope I can . I only have 22 hours to go. 😅
LOL.. tbh I haven't cleared the crash battle either. I also did t clear the last one. It's not that big of a deal.
heyo if it helps, I was discussing about the crash with one of the people known for running carries, and even he's mentioned gearing for this fight is tough, so definitely give it a try, but dont worry if you don't get it, cause this time a lot of people havent been able to

Also with regards to the newer story difficulty being easier: The last few chapters have had miserable and high difficulty final bosses- Dyne, the final version of Galbador from FS Ch 6, that stupid giant ass monster thing from FS Chapter 7 (and it removed Sephiroth from the party!). I honestly think that it is great that they are reviewing main story difficulty since the fights were extremely unbalanced and required characters that most characters haven't built (which reminds me that the mandatory Cait Sith fights- also probably not great for most people!). Anyways, glad AB is reviewing this stuff but it really did seem like the last few chapters were enticing players to pull on banners to get more weapons for off-banner characters.
To me any battle in the story either shouldn't block you from continuing if you fail it / should be super easy to beat even on auto equip and battle. The Extra versions of fights needing skill is fine, but just to progress through the story should not take active investment and a high end account

It's crazy how some of us diversified building characters, knowing certain content required certain characters if we wanted the blue crystals.
Diversifying each character typically means forgoeing limited banner weapons to OB6, as there aren't enough blue crystals to go around. Applibot is punishing people who built Glenn, Lucia, and Zack, when they otherwise wouldn't have if they weren't required for content completion.
The option to complete story mode is already available to all, as you can opt to play missions with non-story characters.
Just as I was about to go over 100k blues again looks like that Monster Hunter drop might be very similar to the FFIX collab. That said based on the roadmap its looking like we might get a 2/3 month reprieve after June. Looking forward to it.

I dont mind story getting progressively harder. Big bosses like that last first soldier boss should be harder. We shouldn't be able to steam roll jenova.
Hard to say, but I see what you mean. I think healthy balance will be important. I do agree that big bosses should FEEL important by being tough. Same as in og game

I am QUITE excited! After Matt, Zack is my favorite, so the probability of me pulling for his crossover stuff is quite high. We will see what the other units’ stuff looks like.
I’m excited that they’ve given us a roadmap. We have things to be excited about now, and that’s a huge deal! I’m perfectly fine with infrequent live streams if they cover this amount of forecasting each time. Really good on them.
I’m also excited to hear about the harder fights coming up, such as floor 100 of the tower and the next difficulty spike for Ramuh.
The only thing I’m nervous about is Lucia’s outfit being really strong, but I can’t afford it because I spent everything on Zack! 😂
I agree that the roadmap is clutch for my game excitement! I need to know what to look forward and be excited about and now I know! This helps during the slow times! I'm prob gonna pull for this Cloud garb on looks alone lol
I hope Lucia's weapon is some kind of self buff water (like Sephiroth's wind) and her costume is water Arcanum, both to go with her existing water physical weapon.
(Yuffie can just get a strong water weapon to buff with Arctic star, [or a water debuff weapon I think she's missing that one?]
PS I saw a comment on reddit say that the Cait Sith costume may be free? (the weapon farm-able) IDK if true
MOre confirm-able is that that TIfa's costume is probably ALSO lightning, the boss you fight to get that armor in montser hunter is a lightning based boss. I dont have a lightning Arcanum and may hold off on Zack's until we see hers as well, then ill choose.
Yes, I have heard rumors that the Cait armor will be free, and I think that would be awesome! We need more of that. Very interested in this Tifa info!

The dilemma. You need 70k to make limited banner worth pulling, unless they allowed wish listing. Hold the line! Don't get baited...I did pulled for TIFA's water and feather costume back to back...but now I'm stronger mentally than ever. Anniversary is what I'm looking forward to.
Overall, I am happy that there is a plan for the game, and that Devs are listening to the players. Thanks to this, I have faith that this game will not end its life prematurely. And also now I know that I have to buy the Season Pass because there is no way I'll have enough crystals for new outfits! Thank you for the video and bringing the good news!
PS: Now we only need to learn WHERE the DEVs are listening, so we can give them ours ideas.

I hope they are more transparent like this in the future. It sucks not knowing what's coming and then you blow off your currency. The game is looking good and better for sure
