I pulled for Tifa on 1st day the banner was out, even though I had like only 27k crystal. And I was sure you would also pull for her as a Tifa fan. :D The outfit and weapon are amazing, so "getting costume now, wishlist weapon later" was no-brainer for me. And I am happy with getting costume and OB1 for now, just need 1 more copy for the wallpaper. Also, I liked the long format of the video. It was somehow more engaging.
Watched the whole video cause I enjoy that content🤙🏼 i got to the costume in 5 pulls and ob2 weapon. Lil redemption for monster hunter pulls🤦🏻♂️Saving what little I have left for what’s next!!
Nice pull session and great video as usual my man 👏🏻 I went 12 stamps with 8 pulls with just the guaranteed new Tifa weapon but I got Sharky Barret weapon twice and a lot of five stars wishlisted weapons ones so I'm pretty content. I'm standing at 64,500 crystals waiting for Vincent's arrival and also saving for the anniversary, so I will not go any further on this banner as the weapon will be available to wishlist in less than 2 months 💪🏻
The chart/picture comparisons are really great!! I hope that continues in future videos. I really loved that. Sadly, I have to skip this costume/weapon for now .. I do have Zack's full ensemble with fire magic as well as Cloud's for phy. fire .. It just makes more sense for me to save up for anniversary at this point.
I will pull for Tifa after checking out what Vincent brings to the table. There is no rush coz tifas banner finishes on the 1st Aug anyway. But what a costume! She is gorgeous!
A whale in one of the discords that I'm in pulled 9 pages and only went OB6 on the Tifa gloves. He was going to pull deeper, but apparently the game cuts you off after 9 pages. Every page takes roughly $100 to complete. It seems statistically improbable to only OB6 a feature weapon after $900, but apparently that's a thing.
Rough luck on this one. I was a little torn on my pulls taking 9 just to clear the first page. However, I have both banner weapons at OB1 and did snag 3 WL weapons, so I can't complain too much. I am definitely saving until Anniversary at this point. I do hope Vincent get a good banner for those that have been waiting for him since release though!
Congrats on the new job! those pulls were harsh, sorry to see that. I got lucky with the Sharkslayer (which I didn't really want, but got 4 non-guaranteed 5 stars) and only the one guaranteed Shell Knuckles. I stopped after the first page, at least until Vincent is revealed.

Having a Nitelight9 lore drop day was not on my bingo card lol. Congrats on the new job, hopefully it was by your choice. I was planning to wait and see Vincent but ended up caving and pulling on Tifa since I’ve not pulled the other Fire Magic setups we’ve gotten. Managed to get her costume in about 20k crystals so not terrible. Got 0 extra copies of her weapon. Managed to get 1 copy of Barrett’s new weapon and decent amount of WL items though: 1 Ultimatic, 1 Centipede, 1 Flower Vase, 1 Slay the Day, and 1 Tempest. Also got a Pulse Gun but not a WL item.

Your talk about going wide versus going focussed is interesting, I disagree but this is a totally valid opinion especially as you said if you think that you will be "stuck" needing to wishlist a crazy amount a weapon and cannot work on any of them. Hands down this tifa costume is the most beautiful skin in the game, but they will never get me with a skin, diamond hands for anniversary. Also it’s true that normal weapon are always wishlistable but as a f2p is more efficient and easier to get limited banners weapons due to the stamps structure which normal banner sux

If Zack and Sephiroth both main-hand their All Allies MATK weapons at OB3/120, everybody gets a boost somewhere in between a Lv5-6 Personal MATK buff, so I'm saving what I can for the Anniversary. (If not All PATK/MATK, then All HP/PDEF/MDEF would be massive when combined with the Highwind buffs) But I've also been building up Tifa for MATK, so she would fit right in with such a party. So I dunno, we'll wait and see how the next few weeks roll out, maybe I'll try as the banner's wrapping up. Might be a bit risky though; as I'm not beholden to making pull videos, if I get a single Stamp from an attempt, I just don't pull for rest of the day. I know it's just another gacha superstition, but the game has to learn to play by my rules lol
That was a rough session man, but they can't always be winners. At least you ended up with diaper Tifa and OB2. I think they did the 2nd stamp page dirty on purpose, knowing people will swipe relentlessly, because of waifu. Hopefully they will hook us up with lots of crystals when guilds drop.
OMG dude, that first page was absolutely brutal. Never seen anything like that before 🫣 I'm glad it was somewhat salvaged with the 2nd page. OB2 Fire Tifa should still be able to handle Shiva EX2. I just did it with my OB3 Tifa

You're correct, wishlisting a character's weapon does not decrease the likelihood of you receiving a featured weapon for that same character on a banner. The Details/Odds tab get updated based on your wishlist so people can confirm for themselves there. The rate of the featured weapon doesn't change no matter how you change your wishlist

man that was brutal to watch, feel sorry for you man...although I do think you should have stopped halfway in the 2nd page as that would have somewhat redeemed it, it's hard to exercise self control sometimes. My pulls weren't so good too, 3 five stars in 6 pulls, not counting the troll OB12 edge wings that popped up on my last pull. no banner weapons except for guaranteed, but 18k is ok for costume. Just wondering did you have a long good luck streak prior to this session? I find the RNG in this game swings wildly in good and bad mood. Sometimes I get a streak of 5 or more pulls in a row with 5 stars, then it can swing into 4 or 5 times in a row with nothing. I think going forward, I will exhaust my bad luck on random ticket draws before going into banner. I don't care much about ticket pulls because they usually give random useless five stars, better save luck for banner and WL weapons.
Ouch. I basically never pull on the 2nd card unless I *really* want a second outfit or we get the limited guarantees on stamp 16/20. Too much cost for too little safe results imo.

Stop wishlisting another weapon from the same character if you want better odds of getting the banner weapon. Its the main reason why you keep pulling anyway.

I have short streaks typically in both directions. On the Tifa/Aerith MH banner, I had amazing luck imo. Got both weapons to Ob6 in like 70k crystals
