Rammstein is one of the most famous metal bands and living legends with the same line-up for nearly 30 years. Their stadium tour is the greatest metal/rock show on the road in these days. They are a german band and are considered the best live band in the world by far, especially when it comes to showmenship, pyro and fire. Rammstein don't have their roots in metal but in punk, which many people don't know. Above all, Rammstein uses pyro quite differently than all other bands. There is no blood on the arms, but fire protection gel. . Rammstein concerts are sold out in minutes, no matter where they are performed. Till Lindemann is certified as a pyrotechnician and that's why Rammstein concerts around the world are rarely limited, not even in the USA. But after a Rammstein concert you can buy a T-Shirt written on it: I survived Rammstein. The Rammstein Stadion Tour is the greatest rock/metal show on the road in these days. Rammstein transports 1,350 tons of equipment for example for the stadium tour in Amerika. 7 Boeing 747 aircraft and 70 trucks are needed to move this mass of cargo. The stage on which Rammstein make hell for the fans is 61 meters wide. It is 30 meters deep and almost 37 meters high. 300 people travel permanently with the band to ensure that everything runs smoothly. In each city, 260 - 400 people also help to set up the stage. The construction of the steel colossus, which Rammstein calls "stage", takes 7 days. Rammstein's music is a mixture of techno (electronic music) and metal (= industrial metal). Rammstein concerts are a life time experience that you will never forget. Their videos are art but also often controversial. Rammstein also refers to classical German literature, e.g. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Several of their songs are related to controversial and taboo subjects such as sadomasochism, homosexuality, intersexuality, incest, pedophilia, necrophilia, cannibalism, pyromania, religion and sexual violence. Also several of their songs are allegedly inspired by real-life events or politics. Rammstein lyrics are very deep and are also often used in school and universities around the world to learn German. There are people who learn German only because of Rammstein. Rammstein fans from 10 to 90 yeras old are considered to be the craziest, hysterical and most fanatical fans in the world. In concerts from the hardcore fans all over the world it is expected that you can sing along with the German lyrics even if you don't speak German.
Not only are they the greatest live band in the world, but they also make the best mind blowing music videos. Nice German baseball cap, by the way, fits.😂
The song is from their album "Sehnsucht" that came out in 1997. So it's an old song. The video is part of a show that was recorded in 2012 in Paris. And it's an iconic song from them. Heavy riffs are a trademark of Rammstein. The older songs - like this one - are oftenly straight forward. Newer ones have more variations. Nevertheless many of them are also bangers. But there are also slower more melancholic songs (not what I would call balades) from them. The lyrics of this song in a nutshell: The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German. But it sounds (intentionally) the same as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Later in the song, the first three words are extended to a full sentence: "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." (You asked me and I did not answer.) And then, to show what he was asked, the chorus is a wedding vow: "Willst Du bis der Tod euch scheidet treu ihr sein für alle Tage?" (Do you want to be faithful to her for all days until death do us part?) This is answered first by a kind of female voice "Ja" (yes) and afterwards by Till's harsh voice "Nein!" (No!). These - plus a slightly obscene word play on the wedding vow, that I will not explain here - are the whole lyrics (repeated a few times). As mentioned in the "making of" of that song it's about the connection within the band. They never had a line-up change since their start in 1994. The lead gitarrist once said, the band is like a marriage without sex. If you want to see more from Rammstein, I have a "few" suggestions. If you want to see more of their (incredible) live performances I would suggest Rammlied (live from Madison Square Garden) Engel (live from Madison Square Garden) Sonne (live at Rock im Park 2017) Links 2 3 4 (live from Madison Square Garden) Ich will (live from Hurricane Festival 2016) Ich tu dir weh (live from Madison Square Garden) (don't take the lyrics too serious) Sehnsucht (live in Nimes, France, 2005 Volkerball tour) Feuer Frei! Great reaction. Hope we'll see more Rammstein on your channel. Next one might be "Ich tu dir weh" or "Engel", both from MSG, if you want more crazy live performances. I wouldn't suggest the song/video "Deutschland" for someone who has just started his Rammstein journey. The song & video is a masterpiece, there are no doubts. But it is also the most complex one and hard to understand. Even with language skills or subtitles from "educated marine" viewers will be confused if they are not aware of a lot of events from 2000 years of German history. There are a lot of Rammstein's songs, one can enjoy without background knowledge ... and many of them without understanding the lyrics. I would suggest starting with those.

This song is old. 25 years maybe? I remember when they came to Montreal, the first time, people were talking about the Concert on the streets, in the buses and subways for weeks after. People line up to buy expensive Fire Zone tickets so they can smell like flame retardand and walk around with no eyebrows for a month after a concert. Very popular band in the USA. In fact I think they are the only Non-English Singing band to ever make it big in the USA. Great reaction but do not be so quick to announce a style based on 1 song. After all, imagine how well that would have worked out with Dimash.🙄😉😂 🥰🥰Best wishes from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Du hast means you have but it is also kind of a play on words since it sound the same as du hasst that means you hate. The whole song is played out as somone who is asking marriage vows that he/she will not answer. As awesome as this clip was, it comes of as tame to the stuff they do now.
no offence now but you really need to talk less if you run into a band like rammstein if you dont have any clue what you ran into. just inform yourself and react then. you cant compare rammstein with any other band, you cant compare their live performances or videos. rammstein is unique. and you just have heared one ....
After all, imagine how well that would have worked out with Dimash.🙄😉😂
🥰🥰Best wishes from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
exactly, feuerzone is the way to go
You enjoyed it? Look at "Engel" form Madison Square garden, "Mein Teil" Live from 2013 (you NEEEED to read the lyrics interpretation before), or "Ramlied" from Madison Square garden - long Version wirt 3 min intro (8 min total)
Next Rammstein song should be Engel live in Madison Square Garden
Hello ,

You should watch Rammstein life from Madison Square Garden with English subtitles. "Engel" and "Rammlied".
Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!
Till Lindemann lead singer is a licensed pyrotechnition they are famous for pyro tech on stage u will see us you go along watching thier live shows fyi thier 2024 tour is all sold out already that's how big n popular fan base they have all around the world 🌎
Du hast means you have but it is also kind of a play on words since it sound the same as du hasst that means you hate. The whole song is played out as somone who is asking marriage vows that he/she will not answer. As awesome as this clip was, it comes of as tame to the stuff they do now.
I love your reaction. In Europe German and French are THE languages.
Its about the fact that you haven t asked about getting married.Sort of
no offence now but you really need to talk less if you run into a band like rammstein if you dont have any clue what you ran into. just inform yourself and react then. you cant compare rammstein with any other band, you cant compare their live performances or videos. rammstein is unique. and you just have heared one .... ONE song.
greetings
The lead singer is attracted to young boys
And where did you get that ‘information’, up your own ass?
