    Josh isn't lying about the difference. I've Used Pride lands/Nature's Pride veg and bloom dry amendments for atleast 5 years and have won 2 peoples choice awards, and a first place here in Oregon for the flowers I grew with it. I try to be sustainable when sourcing most things and not to buy too many nutrients/amendments in general, but ever since i was turned onto it, I love the stuff, and the plants love it more! My only criticism is I do wish there to be different replacements for the potentially factory farmed amendments though. Also a little bit of the stuff can go a long way, i usually use it at half the recommended rate or less, although my soil is very developed and fertile in itself by now.

    East coast Steve here, Remember the human problem, Everybody in the business knows how to grow, and dont forget the commercialization to sell products, There is great cannabis across the world, without any of that commercial soil, The forest has the best if you know how to smell it, see it and even taste it, use your senses and decide who you want to be, Totally real natural forest growing or run to the store with $500 and listen to some guy, and buy there shit, I think you guys are the best as far as setting good rules and examples like TD, Thank you, I will keep watching and I will try some Boogie Brew gonna order today, Thanks again. I can put Boogie Brew on the map out here if its GOOD!!, Throw some info in the pack for pallet sales.

    I love these epesodes! Josh really knows his shit when it comes to cannabis. I'm on my 3rd hobby cannabis grow indoors. You guys have helped imersurably! Growing veggies all these years has helped too. I have a Nevilles Haze going right now, a notoriously hard plant to grow,but also some of the most notoriously awesome sativa smoke too. Cannabis is very fun plant to grow, it grows as fast as bamboo too. I have a 12 week old Black Jack that is filling a full 4x4 scrog,and stem almost as thick as my arm. Its incredible what this pant can do. Started some pepper seedlings the other last week....sooooo slow compared to cannabis although I think the plants are comparable to each other growing otherwise.

      That's how I learned back in the day, too!
      It is VERY important to gradually increase the soil strength and get the plants somewhat root-bound before each successive transplant into the next larger pot. Mild starvation of younger plants and getting them root-bound will make them "pop" into each successive soil mix with a robust fury. Along the way, cull the small percentage of "weaklings" as this will guarantee a solid canopy of super-plants by the time you are ready to flower.
      You wanna get your plants used to each phase of progressively stronger mixes in accompanying larger root zones. That way you minimize the possibility of locking delicate younger seedlings up ("transplant shock", etc).

    I am currently in my third week of utilizing the Master Marks grow program as a novice cultivator, and I must express my astonishment at the remarkable progress of my plants. Thus far, I have administered two rounds of Compost tea watering and one application of Fish Hydroponic Soil Fertilizer. The rapid growth of my plants has truly taken me by surprise! However, I do have a query that I am hopeful someone can address: at what point should I commence incorporating Age Old Kelp into my regimen?

    He said he would veg indoors in that 6-inch pot but flower in the 5 gallon. My question doesnt most of the rooting of a plant happen in veg. Why would you need 4 more gallons of medium for flower when they have basically stopped producing new roots after the stretch/bolt.

    • @BoogieBrew
      @BoogieBrew 4 місяці тому +1

      Because in bloom they will go crazy for more food sources and indeed will also keep adding to their root mass. For germinating and early vegetative phases, only use a mild soil mix. Then graduate every 10 days to 2 weeks into progressively stronger soil mixes and bigger pots: 2-inch cups up to 1-gallon pots. One week before the bloom phase, transplant into a 5 to 20 gallon size container filled with the full strength super-soil.
      Start germination with a soilless media like ReadyGro or Coco Peat, etc in a starter cell. After 10 days to two weeks following plant emergence, transplant to slightly stronger mix of 25% Ocean Forest (OF)-75% Happy Frog in about a pint-sized container. After plant roots fill the pint and start binding, transplant to a 50-50 mix in a quart container. After plant roots fill the pint and start binding, transplant to a 50-50 mix in a quart to 1 gallon container. Again, after the plant roots fill this container, transplant to a 75% Ocean Forest -25% Happy Frog blend in anywhere from 1 to 3 gallon container. Continue at this ratio or even up to 100% Ocean Forest in yet another larger pot during the vegetative/nursery phase. The last transplant is into the final grow container (anything from a 5 to 40 gallon container or even a huge hole in ground) filled with a recipe such as Master Mark's super soil blend. Keep these plants in the vegetative phase about a week further for final growth and root development in the super soil mix. Then switch over to flower mode.
      As a general rule of thumb, double or triple the volume of the next container over the current size while using this transplant progression. The plant’s roots will grow into the pots quickly as the soil blends outlined above will support aggressive root expansion.

      It depends how big of girls you want to grow. Anything before April for me and the plants got was too big for a residential garden. I’ve settled on 4/20 for my seed start date. In NorCal, butte county.

    What benefits are there from transplanting multiple times over planting in final pot. I understand the possibility of overwatering but other than that?

    • @oisind1234
      @oisind1234 4 місяці тому +1

      As far as I know, it's better to let the roots expand in smaller pots a few times over, because it makes for a higher concentration of roots in the end, meaning the plants will uptake nutrients better going into the later months of growth

    • @BoogieBrew
      @BoogieBrew 4 місяці тому +1

    So monster needs a picture app that u can take a pic n it tells u what u need for the plant if it’s not doing well or not sprouting, after the sprouting process given instructions then planted, paid a killing for 5 seeds followed directions n still isn’t growing like that’s why I’m looking for a solution to why hasn’t my seed grown yet it’s been weeks since sprouting I think it died in my soil idk! But shit what a waste of money! Only 1 of the 5 seeds I replanted n has leaves but still growing slow, maybe someone has to come out with the perfect app from a professional grower so he can look n see n what to add so people don’t waste money on bunk seeds if they (not monster) sold me shitty seeds for a killing w no guarantee

Home growers don't need buds that look like they belong on the cover of High Times. No need for high priced plant food. Quit stressing about pH, fancy foods, etc. and start enjoying your results.

    This guy is hilarious! Haha, could he pass a hydroponics class? 😂

    • @BoogieBrew
      @BoogieBrew 4 місяці тому +2

      Why take a class for chemical crap? Nowhere else in nature do plants feed themselves in such artificial ways. Hydroponic "nutrients" are chemicals made from fossil fuels, (hence the inevitable contaminants). Furthermore, the chemicals used in hydroponics are destructive to soil life; whether in the form of hydro 'nutes' or big-ag fertilizer 'salts', they achieve the same life-destroying effects on our planet's land and waterways alike. (To the point of Big Ag's run-off creating shamefully MASSIVE dead zones in our very oceans). Hydro-Propaganda agents will state that microbial action isn't needed for their beloved chemical 'salts' to be utilized "efficiently", (by plants); however they neglect to subsequently state that this is accomplished at the expense of microbial organisms, (whose life forms are critical to the maintenance of a healthy earth). If you HONESTLY don't care about living soils and if you welcome increasingly-depleted terra life-forms on our planet, then you belong in the DAFD club. (Deadrients Are For Dummies!)... Or if you are willing to accept environmental responsibility for using fossil fuels in agriculture, then perhaps you too can dissolve your ego and accept Nature's wisdom instead.... SOIL OVER OIL! 💪

      Interesting point of view, been biking lots, (did a 90 mile ride with 12k feet of climbing day before this video,thus maybe appeared tired in this vid?)....sleep plenty, eat well and
      feel great most of the time. This is how I choose to remain unstressed about the system coming for us all. Thanks for the diagnosis on my health though 🙏. Btw, that's a total lie about home gardening being worse than big ag and anyone who believes such nonsense is simply being foolish. It takes 10 calories of fossil fuel energy to provide 1 calorie of food energy sold in today's supermarkets. Growing our own food and medicine in a sustainable manner is the only hope we've got. WW3 has already begun, yet most people are too blind to see it...It's the battle to save us from ourselves...
