Thanks for this. I will definitely create a loadout similar to yours for the challenge. I have a pretty good flamer I think, but it doesn't do damage like I see other people's doing, and that's because I just use my lazy person's commando build.
This was the first time doing a build and I really enjoyed it. I am right there with you on being lazy. If you notice the build I run a hybrid most of the time with some commando cards in there but took them off to be a bit more focused in there. I used the flamer for the first time last week and I giggled my whole play through because of how fun it is. My kid uses it a lot but I normally stay away from heavy guns.

Thanks for highlighting the fact that the regular flamer is still a legit weapon. I know the Holy Fire outperforms the regular flamer due to it's cursed effect, but that still doesn't take away from the fact that the normal flamer kicks ass on it's own right and will be a great weapon to use until you get that awesome holy fire roll you want.

Also really nice to see a build not using legendary cards as not everyone has them or if they do they are not all 5 star.
I use legendary perk cards but that is why I tell folks what to look for if they don't have them. I am also starting to design level 50 no legendary builds in the pinned comments of the build videos to make it better for folks. Appreciate you bud 🤘

@@Fargassier Probably something like Chameleon because it would work well with the Scout armors and the Healing factor because the Enclave agents are mostly people who operate alone and don't have a lot of carrying capacity.
It was more of a joke because in previous games they talked about not liking mutated folks in the wasteland 🤘 In 76 they don't mind if you have mutations 🤘

I honestly love the Union but with it being away you can use the Excavator, X-01, Hellcat, or whichever you find best in your testing. I generally like the extra carry weight from the Excavator or the Hellcat for the added damage reduction.
When I got it in didn’t even know if it was good. Till I read the spec stored it away then wanted a flamer build and after 4 different videos I was already one step ahead ☺️
@Fargassier It'll be getting swapped with a maxed stabilised for sure, I'm losing so much damage potential/armour pen now I know about it (like it isnt already broken as it is) 😂

Back in the day of legacies Demo Expert would work on the flamer if you had an explosive one but they won't do anything now. I could've put Stabilized there but didn't even think of that.
Just FYI luck of the draw only works on the first shot with heavy guns. It’s not a chance for every hit, just the first hit when you hold down the trigger. So it’s a waste of points for heavy gunners
See in my time I had it trigger a few times when firing at them but thanks for that knowledge and I forgot all about stabilized when creating this on the fly until someone commented that this morning. 🤘 Yeah I normally run Stabilized on my builds with Heavy but somehow I forgot it. 😂 I have been waiting to get flamed in the comments about it 😂🤘
@@Fargassier haha it happens, I replaced stabilized with weapons artisan when I was repairing my weapons and forgot to switch it back and was running without it for like 3 days lol
@@SMDTURBOYou are incorrect. Only weapons that get the damage boost from the science perks are: Laser gun/ultracite, plasma gun/enclave, tesla rifle, gauss rifle/pistol/shotgun, alien blaster, alien disintegrator, gamma gun and the auto axe with the electrified mod only.

I'm currently using the Holy Fire with a full set of Vanguards Hellcat Power Armour. It's ridiculous how powerful it is.

was doing an expedition today and someone used a flamer to melt the end bosses, so i had to start googling to find out how to do that XD

Bethesda really buffed this weapon compared to fallout 4, in fallout 4 unless the flamer had wounding it was an underwhelming weapon.
It def. is a lot of fun in Appalachia and the Holy Fire variant is a better version but the normal flamer is still a great one to have. 🤘
Dude it’s insane how op flamer is like I could waste one tank of fuel and wipe like a 1/3 of a bosses hp away and I didn’t even have any perk cards

The Enclave has no issues with those mutations because they developed those mutation serums we use for their own agents & soldiers.
I do wonder what their preferred mutation to give an operative was.

No vaporizer nozzle on flamer?
While the nozzle will make the damage higher it really takes away the range of the flamer 🤘

Nope. Flamers are not explosive weapons.

The science cards don't buff the heavy weapons unfortunately 🤘

On this build in Union PA I was almost at 500 but you could carry more if changed the build up some. 🤘
