Bob did not get involved with Dian until the 1980s, several years after Dorothy Jo passed from lung cancer in 1981. Dian was known to date older, rich men including Carol Burtnett's ex husband Joe Hamiliton. Her family cut off contact with her years ago for her lifestyle choices. She was burned when she got fired and decided to sue TPIR. I doubt Bob Barker was a perfect man but he loved Dorothy Jo and wore her family ring until the day he died.
Bobby Van died from brain cancer. I’m sorry, but in this modern world, no one should be dying from any type of cancer. Bert Convey would also die from the same thing 11 years later. 💔

Bobby Van grew up in the Bronx. His real name was Robert Stein. At a Friday night dance held at Hunter College which was located in the Bronx. This was in the 1950’s. His friends asked Bobby to dance. He was amazing. We cheered him on & wished him a success. Lost Bobby to soon
Harriet Guralnick He was an amazing dancer and man. Elaine Joyce was interviewed in the 1990s and she called Bobby the love of her life. My heart went out to her. They knew each other so well.

I wish television executives knew and respected television history. These three guys are great examples of what a good game show host should be: funny, quick witted, experienced in show business or broadcasting, HUMBLE, and smart. Today, they hire any "personality," and it is just awful. A host is a very important component and shouldn't be handed to just anyone.

Gene hosted the 1973 pilot of Tattletales, which was titled Celebrity Match Mates. There's only a picture of Gene on that set, but the episode hasn't been located. Hopefully, one day we will also get to see that.

Anne thwarted that plan until he begged to die with a young widow. It seems so out of his perceived character that one wonders if the brain tumor had changed his personality, values, character? He had certainly seemed obsessive about his age.
There are almost no more good game show hosts except for Alex Trebek, Vanna White, Drew Carey, and Pat Sajak but the rest of the new game show hosts are just not fun because all of these old legend ones died now

No, this was one of those "MC weeks" where Bert would host Monday and Friday's episodes, and the other episodes throughout the week would be hosted by another of the guest hosts, and Bert's then-wife would be there to play for those episodes. In this instance, Match Game's Gene Rayburn hosted the Tuesday episode, and the others were hosted by The Price is Right's Bob Barker and Show Offs' Bobby Van.
:( I don't understand why you wouldn't just upload these episodes in order. Many times, they skip for weeks, before another one comes up. I just now scrolled through and there was NONE for August and only ONE for September. I'm glad to see the episodes that ARE up here, but why post, for example, certain episodes in July, none in August, one in September and then I see some 1976 ones on here too. She was probably dying a slow death of lung cancer. One of the questions revealed on Tattletales said that the doctor told her to stop smoking. Also google their photos she was very pretty. She looked bad here.

Gene Rayburn was so rude and bossy as the host of this show always telling everyone to shut up. I really didn’t much care for him on Match Game either.
@janethartwig774 I fully agree. He has many fans, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion... But I thought he had a rather fragile ego, "It's MY show" and "I'm the star..." He was creepy with all the kissong and his "binaca spray" bit on MG... Rude and obnoxious, at times, sums it up nicely. Was he good, a majority of the time on MG, yes. Most people love him, yes. Could he be a real jerk, yes... this hosting of TTs just adds further proof of that. Oh well...

She was probably dying a slow death of lung cancer. One of the questions revealed on Tattletales said that the doctor told her to stop smoking. Also google their photos she was very pretty. She looked bad here.
