Mr. Barker was at home hosting different game show formats. He was a TRUE, Genuine Television Star! The panel had some heavy hitters as well. Thanks for sharing!
Same here. I was 8 / 9 years old would go to my grandma's house after school and she would always watch match game at 3:00 and tattletales at 3:30. Those were the days 🤗
Watching this, I ended up forgetting Bob wasn't the actual host of this show. What a natural -- they don't make them like Bob anymore, that's for sure.
I hate to admit even though he is/was a womanizer with his Price is Right staff, Diane in particular, Bob Barker is one of the most likable people ever in the entertainment industry. I loved the underrated Bert Convy as well.
I thought Richard's answer about the ladies he loved (after 13:45) was very sweet. He said "there are only two ladies I love, my first wife and Jody." That was LOVE, not LOVED -- Diana Dors was the mother of two sons, and he still cared. They had been divorced nine years at this point. Also, boy, poor Jack Narz. He seemed to be struggling to answer questions, even though he and his wife seemed very sweet together.
The last time I saw this episode of TattleTales was back in 2007 during GSN's tribute to Bob Barker, the week CBS aired his final week as host of The Price Is Right.
This is so cute .... I agree Bob Barker is amazing 👏 and so handsome 😍 I love Bert and I really liked him on Password plus too ..This is a real cute and fun show ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Bert's wife is really pretty ...I have Dish Network so I'm watching a lot of these old shows most everyday ...I looked up Bert's info and was so sad to read that he died in his early fifty's from cancer 😥😪 It still saddens me today ...All of them on this show was so enjoyable to watch but honestly .....And I really like Richard Dawson but "All "that kissing on Family Fued is hard to swallow ...kinda overdone 😫 but love them all !!
I actually remember this when it aired. I specifically remember Bob asking the question about lipstick on the collar. Even then, I knew it was something naughty. I was born to be a game-show geek. KDKA in Pittsburgh would show this at 9:00 or 9:30 in the morning. It was probably a day after the network broadcast, which aired in the afternoon. Wikipedia says this aired during the week of 15 November. I would have been in kindergarten at the time. Maybe I got lucky and stayed home that day?
Abel E. Jimenez Not too many of the old-school game show hosts left---Wink Martindale is still around, Bob Eubanks, Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak...and of course Bob Barker. Bill Cullen is dead as well as Dick Clark who hosted $25,000 Pyramid. Chuck Woolery is still alive.
Game show by who died first Allen Luddan (died 1981) Bill Cullen (died 1990) Bert Convy (1991) Ray Combs (1996) Gene Reyborne (1999) Jack Narz (2008) Richard Dawson (2012) Jim Perry (2015)
In case you're wondering about the show that Bob was referring to that Richard Dawson also hosted, "Lucky Pair" was a show that he produced in the early 70s that he hoped to get into syndication, but it was only seen in the Los Angeles area. I remember hearing something that Geoff Edwards also hosted that before he got an offer for his first network show.
Yes, agree that Anne Convy was a beautiful woman. She was also obviously a very intelligent and talented wit. For some thirty years they appeared to have a loving happy marriage so it was difficult to comprehend his rejecting her, tossing her out to pursue divorce and remarriage to a young woman their daughter’s age. It is so at odds with his earlier reputation as a good, decent man. Perhaps the growing brain tumor had changed his values and personality.
She might have heard them giggling while thinking about her answer, despite the more composed audience members shushing them. That may have influenced her answer.
Bob said possibly influenced her answer. Personally, I don't think so but you can't really blame them just in case the audience did accidentally influenced her answer.
Bert was divorced from his wife of 30 plus years Anne just months before he died and married to another woman when he died. Isn’t that just a little wrong considering he was so likable and good-natured? So many people like him tend to die earlier.
Must have been impaired by the growing brain tumor. Decent men of good character, good humor, likability and ration do not go to estranged wives after some 30 years, three children and say they don’t mind dying unless still married to her rather than a woman younger than their daughter.
@@patriciacercone2226 I didn’t know anything about his second wife until now doing some research. She was only 25 years old and he was 57 and dying from cancer. She wasn’t a celebrity of any kind.
@@ajk I guess would go into the category Carol Burnett's ear tug to her dead grandma or Jimmy Durante's sign off of walking slowly away under a series of small spotlights on a darkened stage in tribute to his dead first wife .

I loved this show so much, I was like 13 and came home from school and watched before I did my homework....love those days.💗

Bob Barker was a natural at hosting game shows, and it didn't matter which one. A true living legend.
That's so true!!!!!!
@@tinahobbs3273Bob Barker also nailed the role of Game Show host.
Rest in peace, Bob Barker.
I really hate knowing many of these great entertainers are now dead but I still love watching Tattletells. Smarter, more gentler times.
Totally agree! Each of these individuals were both TALENTED, gifted, and contributed to the success and growth of Television. Nothing today compares.
Omg Bob Barker he has been babysitting me for 45 years lol love me some Bob💞💞💞
Watching this, I ended up forgetting Bob wasn't the actual host of this show. What a natural -- they don't make them like Bob anymore, that's for sure.
Love Bob Barker!!!
Bob Barker the man that reminds everyone to help control the pet population.
Burt Convey was so nice and so handsome....😊
Which is why no one in the audience 'bought' the idea that humor was 90% of his appeal!
I hate to admit even though he is/was a womanizer with his Price is Right staff, Diane in particular, Bob Barker is one of the most likable people ever in the entertainment industry. I loved the underrated Bert Convy as well.
That was after his wife died.
I remember this airing, too! I was 15 and, home, 'sick', from school.
Boo Richard and Jody were robbed!
We need the one with Jack Narz hosting! That one was funny!
I thought Richard's answer about the ladies he loved (after 13:45) was very sweet. He said "there are only two ladies I love, my first wife and Jody." It is interesting that Bob is the only one still alive among these great emcees in this clip.
+James Woods And, he was the oldest of them.
+Drchainsaw77 According to Wikipedia, Narz was a year older than Barker.
At 1:10 ... Jody is introduced as Richard's "Lady". He was not married at the time, so what we have here is his girlfriend at the time!
Bob and Richard are so smooth and versatile, they could host just about anything.
HELL yeah!!!!!! Lol
Bob yes - rubber lips 👄 Dawson NO!
Wow! What a great win! I'm so glad to have seen, thanks for posting. 🤣😆

I was five years old, so I honestly have no idea why I was home.
Amazing that Bob outlived all 3 of them, Gene Rayburn included.
Abel E. Jimenez

+sldl04 and Jim Perry just left us not too long ago!
Tom Kennedy is still around
moneyincfan waaaaaaaaaaaaaat? never knew that! don't hear much of tom though!
Bob is a lot older than Bob Eubanks, Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak .monty hall is Bob age
If Bert were alive he would turn 80 this month.
Bob Sewvello I've even seen him on Murder She Wrote.
I had only heard of this show and had never seen it, thanks for posting
Eric Springer
I remember it as a child growing up in the 70s. I think it aired in the mid afternoon around 3:30 or 4pm on CBS.
Look for the network Buzzr. It just came out recently and this show is on every night. It's a diginet on many Fox affiliates.
+sldl04 Yes. It came on at 4:00 p.m.
Hi do you have the one with Robert Blake and his wife if so would you please post it alot health problem would cheer me up let me know thank you
definately a watcher..they shOuld bring this shOw back..guarenteed2be the#1game shOw..
Can you find the episode where Jack Narz hosts?
I never noticed anything with Jody's answer. Don't know what they were talking about...
I'm kind of surprised that nobody has tried to revive _Tattletales_. It seems like it might go over well.
❤️❤️❤️
Do you have episode w/Bobby Van as host?
This was a great week for TT. Do you have any of Jack Narz's episodes? I think his turn is the only one UA-cam doesn't seem to have.
If Fremantle Media owns the rights to "TattleTales", I hope they bring it back on the air.
+Chuck Kopsho there's a new cable TV channel called BUZZR that shows Tattletales, Match Game, etc.
+Michael Kelso It's over-the-air as a special digital channel in Chicago.
Tattletales I feel would work today. So many love celebrity gossip.
freemantle always owns the goodson shows
You can't tell just by watching the show that the Banana Section influenced Jody in any way at all. Puzzling, that.
I wish I did. That is one episode I do not have!
As big as those collars were back then, it would be easy to acquire a little lipstick every once and a while.
I didn't know that Bob used to host this show
Game show by who died first
Allen Luddan (died 1981)
Bill Cullen (died 1990)

Gene Reyborne (1999)
Jack Narz (2008)
Richard Dawson (2012)
Jim Perry (2015)
Raúl Velasco (2006)
Roberto Gomez Bolaños (2014)
damn only alex trebeck is the only survivor that and pat sajak. crazy
+Cheron “KLASSIC” Bey and bob of course, even though he's retired, he's still one of what I call "game show''s original family" surviving members.
Tom kennedy and Monty hall are still alive thankfully
Marcus J. Wilson Monty Hall (2017)
Where's is the episode hosted by Jack Narz??
you don did it...way to go Bob

bluebear1985 loved hearing about that show via his book.
so 80 people split up 200 dollars?

I didn't think the audience gave jody the answer. what am I missing?

No one seems to have it in their collection.
I can find no mention of Richard Dawson having a wife named Jody. Diana Dors and Gretchen Johnson only.
She's introduced as "his lady Jody". They were probably dating.
Correct. They dated in the mid 1970s but did not marry. She seemed very sweet.
"Bob Barker saying, 'Good-bye, everybody.'"
He said nothing about pets.
He didn't do that till after Dorothy Jo died in 1981 in her honor. And even then it wasn't every day till the late 80's or so I'd say.
ajk I’d say around 86 was when he made that a thing.

Jack Narz and Tom Kennedy are brothers.
BOB BARKER:TODAY
Jody and Richard was robbed. I looked twice at the video and the audience said nothing to influence Jody. They should have won.
They wouldn't have won regardless. They would've lost by only $75 instead of the $150.
One has to wonder if any divorces occurred due to this show.
Was that Bob Barker's mom he kissed?
No, I don't think so. He probably would have mentioned that his mother Tillie was in the audience.
14:28, hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love Bob Barker But WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? FUNNY 😂 But does he host tattletales? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Damn, Bob Barker was old AF in 1976.
