Today we are back with another video! In this video we are fishing for giant crappies while ice fishing. I talk about some tips which I think will help when targeting big crappies through the ice. Ice fishing season is in full swing and a good day of catching big crappies is always a blast. Thanks for watching the ice fishing videos.

Crappie sammiches for supper tonight. Mmm
Thanks for mentioning the line you were using. Ice geeks like me appreciate hearing those details.
Keep it up with multi species.
I love fishing panfish, especially big crappies. Great job tom
Very nice crappies you getting
Love crappie fishing
“It’s always great to fish with good buddies, unfortunately Mitch is all I got today 😂”
Awesome vid Tom, UNIT Slabs
Sobi! Whats up brother? Jaycees tomorrow?
How about a video on how to find crappies on weed lines for those who don’t have mega live or live scope and just a flasher?!
Pre-hard water searching
Lol
@@matthewc9965 no boat 😩
@@neilrobinson1991 lol go get something wtih a chip or some time of navigation
Nah bruh that isn’t possible lol
Crappie madness!! Hell yeah!
Thanks for putting this together. Soldiers on Sleds Inc a 501c3 non profit will be showing it to all of our Soldier Participants next February. Lots of good information here.
Did Mitchell just come out for moral support 🤣.. didn't see him catch anyting 😉
Those fish were nuts! Great video Tom! I love how informative each video is.
I appreciate how u handle all the fish u catch TB! U are quick in getting them unhooked and get them back in the water quickly and with low stress. Thank you!
Not sure what video you are watching or maybe just not paying attention but the very first fish he caught there was a break in the recording which means he had it out of the water long enough to edit out all the wasted time it took him to find his measuring spoon.
He needs to tell the story after he releases. Too many talk too much while holding the fish. I'm not even listening to what they are saying. I'm timing the release.
Very very cool looks like a good time! You've definitely got All the good stuff. Plus sharing the knowledge!
Great content, I've caught double the amount of fish this season due to this channel. Keep it up.
Tom I'd like to hear your thoughts on barometric pressure and how it affects fishing.
Thanks for the great videos.
Another great video Tom....keep them coming
Gotta love getting into them like you have. Nice when you catch them that large. I know, I love catching them on small jerkbaits in late fall. When they hit, hard to tell difference from a 4lb. bass, just crush the jerkbait. Keep up the tremendous content in our videos. Thank you.
Great content Tom, keep up the great work ! Thank you!
Awesome keep up the great work bud!
I don't know about you Tom but I'm getting sick of all this snow. Good content keep it up!
Are you in Wisconsin, John? I've a place in Eagle River and not sure on snow up there?
@@jolkraeremeark6949 Nope I live in NW Iowa
Man you live near so many awesome fishing lakes. I feel like I would enjoy retiring up there somewhere. Your set up is a dream set up.
Great job Tom…… totally awesome video.
Nice! I'd have my fry pan all fired up.
Making me anxious in the intro.holding onto your auger blade lol
Dude! dude, dude, dude, dude, dude, dude-dude, dudely dudely dudely, dude!
Sweet slabs!
You need to go back to ND. Road trip for more walleye
Crappies are my favorite fish to chase! Tom you should dedicate a week or two this year and really chase them hard to get a true Wisconsin giant 16+! Open water or ice, river or lake, don’t matter where just getter done!
I saw Ty Sennet guiding a fishing show from a few years back on the same lake Tom was on but over basin and he was catching 16" and 17" and that was before live imaging (a lot of holes were drilled!)! I too would love to see a little more content other than the walleye for just a bit. It's nice to have a little change up in content, at least i think most of us appreciate it. Man, it must be just a relentless grind being out on the road that much. Glad to see some content from the hayward area too, even with the added issues of snow and slush.
I don't know about you Anthony, but I feel offended. Why did the scammer bot ignore us?! LOL 😆
@@wallster4191 I’m glad it did lol
Thanks, great info👍🏻
Nice fish great video
We went to 3 lakes in Hayward yesterday all slush. Wasn't great, but still got 6 bluegills.
Pretty good video imo
On em great content
Lake gogeibic Michigan my suggestion
Great content! Love ice fishing. Stay away from that Full Mount MMA theme song. They will find you and tap you out
What a slab
Fishing has turned into an ultrasound machine dropping a lure on its head.
Hey man ! You ever try the RonnieBird lures !? Panfish and walleye killer !
WOW!!!
Nice
Dude loves the dude word 🤣
I was thinking same while watching video , if I took a drink of beer every time he said "dude". 😅
After a 20min video I would have a serious buzzon.. 😆 🤣
Thank you for another great video. You mentioned the Jig used, how about the plastic?
Hi Tom- I looked through the links but could not find, would you mind sharing what you were using for plastics in this video? Thanks and keep it up!!
Tom would love to hear how you find them and what to look at. I did send a message on Facebook asking a few questions.
Why would you flop your hand on an exposed auger blade? Or am I just seeing things. I notice in other videos your blades are next to you by your fish hole as well. Cover or put those blades pointing away from you. You are on ice. People slip, dogs bump into things. I've seen people cut their day short of fishing because they have to run to the ER to get some serious stitches. Be safe, be smart.
PS, is this the same spot your wife found those slabs the other day for you? 😁 Nice fish Tom.
😆😆 I bet Shelby would appreciate a ring on her finger! I don't think they're married yet!😆
I follow a youtuber who ice. Fishes he. Made what he. Calls the ultimate hole 🕳 hopper
I'm just wondering I have a 10 inch auger blade I can a drill what size drill to use with out burning the drill
What’s your opinion of the odyssey 40 vs the evolution 42 noodle? How does the tip and rod action differ?
What lake you fishing on?
You should turn that birghtight against the tent to diffuse the light more. It's bright enough, but almost too intense. Shining it against the tent should help dull the intensity.
why do you always release? Do you ever keep your catches?
What lake is this on? Crappie that size up north are hard to find up here!
How can you find fish without a live scope I don't have 5000 to spend
Don't have to use livescope at all. Just drill more holes to find weed pockets.
is that a 24v or 40v strikemaster?
I know a lake that has giant crappies i have a npanoptix but i have not been able to find the pack just one here one there. Maybe this lake the crappies dont hang in packs i dont know.
What lake?
What Go Pro model do you use in your videos??
In under #100 😜
White crappies?
These are all Black Crappies
You on vacation yet?
First?
How to find fish: buy a $5,000 live scope.
Since when is LiveScope $5k?
hahaha yup can’t argue with the technology. my livescope is crazy fun!
Worth every penny! I catch fish 5-1 against guys with vexilar only.
I have LiveScope, but also still use my vexilar a bunch. LVS definitely better for finding structure and fish. Time saver for sure, but you still need the right presentation!
I have less than $1600 in my whole setup. LiveScope is pretty durable and you can find some good deals on used LVS32’s. Which is what I did.
I did and it’s still hard ding ding.
Yeah let’s see you try catching some fish without electronics or maybe just a budget level set up. Not everyone has that much money to drop on a setup. If you have one of those you really don’t need no tips or anything damn thing tell ya exactly where they are.
Caution! Scammers on the reply to our comments!! Stay safe out there everyone!
I try to delete them.
