For example, some basic chicken/beef/pork marinades for grilling, hot weather treats when turning on the oven is just too much (like this recipe), and lots of vegetables. I made this and it was delicious. When I put the filling into the crust and started to spread with a rubber spatula, it lifted the crust and made a huge mess. I switched to a metal offset spatula and it worked great.

I believe custard is the base most used in tarts... What Laura did here was a no bake cheesecake, atleast as far as I know... But I'm not a baker or a chef...
if you re gonna try it, i recommend not to add the additional butter for the crust, it feels a lot like butter when you eat it instead of a crunchy crust because the filling of... most of the cookies is made of fat so.... i had to make it twice, if you use just the filling of the cookies, you wont get it that oily, well, my opinion for those who dont like to feel a lot of fat in the crust and prefer it crunchy, other than that, was wonderful :)
Will other fruits like strawberries make it soggy the next morning? Also can I use orange juice as a replacement? Lastly, does it have to be freshly squeezed? Thanks so much and love your recipes!! I've done that before with raspberries on top and the oreo crust (include the filling when processing like she did). I drizzled chocolate ganache on top. Yum. Very versatile recipe/technique she's using here. 😊

Yess but you'll need to scrape the filling out of the oreo because you can only use the cookie for a crust ;( Well, oreo cream is jummy as its own

Can I use a blender instead of a food processor
I use a table spoon to flatten the crumb base. Give it a try! :)

It will work in a pie plate but it will be difficult to slice and serve without the slice falling apart. But it will still be yummy!

you know, you can use regular oreos and leave the lemon from the filling and you have a oreo tart!
