K1MB3RL3Y88 my friend makes these every year around Christmas and gives some to me and my sister and the rest of our friends. I just now remembered these and I want them. I'm going to make them this weekend (hopefully).
I can"t wait to make these with my ten year old son! he loves cooking with me in the kitchen and peanut butter and chocolate are right up his alley. Thanks so much for sharing this one, Laura!
In Ohio we have things like this called Buckeyes.... They look like a buckeye and are peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla... roll them in balls, dip in melted chocolate, cover all of it except a tiny cap part (so it looks like a buckeye)...I make about 300-400 every Christmas season...., but I cover the whole thing then sprinkle with different color sprinkles... Amazing !!!
I had seen this video over a year or two ago and I had been dying to try it and I finally did!!!! They taste so good and the crunchiness from the rice crispy made it amazing!!
My mother made these every year at Christmas time. The winter weather in Arkansas allowed her to store them in a candy tin box and place them outside the kitchen door on top of a second refrigerator we had on the patio . . . that is until the raccoons figured out how to pry the top off and they enjoyed them too. Thanks for bringing back the memories. I think it's time to start a new tradition in April!
I just made Laura's recipe and it's as delicious as it looks...I didn't have smooth peanut butter just crunchy and added that instead, which I think turned out even better! And for anybody that makes this it still tastes great with less sugar
If I made those, I'd eat the whole cookie sheet worth in about 2 days. I have no will power where chocolate and peanut butter are concerned. So if I do make them, it would have to be on an occasion where I'd be bringing a dessert to some function. Laura couldn't wait to pop that in her mouth! If I were that camera guy, I'd be grabbing!
Girl, #thestruggleisreal with chocolate & pb. I was shook when she said you could pull off the uneven chocolate bits. My thought was "Um, no wayyy am I throwing them away, it goes in Mommas pile"😂😂😂😋
Laura, I never comment on any of your videos but I've been following all of your channels for a while now. I love you and Joe!!! I look forward to all of your weekly uploads. Many of your recipes have become go to's and favorites for my husband and I. I've been married for a year so cooking is somewhat newer to me. I've learned so much from you and have gained a new passion for cooking because of you. I've also gotten into makeup more because of your beauty channel. ;) Just wanted to share some love and thank you for sharing your life and passions with us all!
I just made these and they are delicious!!! I did not have any shortening so I substituted coconut oil. They turned out fantastic. Thank you for this recipe.
"this is laura in the kitchen, therefore my food looks like it has been made in the kitchen"lol true words hahah and that is why we all love you Laura haha :D ,this look peeerfect x
Im from ohio and our buckeyes dont have rice crispies... Oh noooooo just pb, butter and confectioners sugar. ....and it has to show some of the pb filling to look like a buckeye.
I have a similar recipe that my grandma used to make every year for Christmas, except ours didn't have rice cereal, they had peanut butter, powder sugar, butter and a milk chocolate coating...these look much easier to handle though and the crunch would be a nice addition. Definitely going try these. These also kind of remind me of puppy chow-aka "the devil" lol. Chex cereal with a peanut butter-milk chocolate coating and dusted with powder sugar...so good! Thank you as always for sharing, I truly enjoy all your channels. Keep up the fantastic work.
Great recipe! The only change I made is using milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate (just personal preference) otherwise these were incredible!! :-)
meri kelly I was looking for the recipe on her site as well and can't find it. Hopefully it's just because we are too quick and they just haven't added it to the site yet. :)
Laura, I just love watching all your videos. You are fabulous and have a great personality. I love watching you and Joe on your other channel also. Thanks for all the recipes, keep them coming! I love watching your style channel also, I love, love, love makeup so ilove to watch for makeup tips.

Just made these tonight and they are SO GOOD!! So easy I could make them with my 3 year old son! My only concern is that they won't last until tomorrow, everyone loves them!
I have tried a few of your recipes and each one turned out great. You seem to be my go to Internet recipe destination now. Thank you! I just wish I did not have to go to your website for the amounts.
Sitting here on a diet, eating a salad....NEEDING these chocolate peanut balls!!!!
K1MB3RL3Y88 my friend makes these every year around Christmas and gives some to me and my sister and the rest of our friends. I just now remembered these and I want them. I'm going to make them this weekend (hopefully).

Lisa Doherty b(
My 2 1/2 year old daughter was watching this with me, and when you were coating the peanut butter balls in chocolate she said "mama, I hungry" lol.
Violet Dalilah So darling to picture happening!!! 😘
Awww... And now she's almost 7! Time flies. Bless her heart
Loved watching her and her enthusiasm. She should have her own show on PBS. Shes definitely got what it takes!
When she rolled those peanut butter balls in that melted chocolate, it brought a tear to my eye
Can NOT resist watching any Laura Vitale video. Her meatball recipe tastes just like the old country cooks of my grandma's generation.
Good to know Laura is young, and we will have the benefit of her talent for many more years.
Eun Jun Wang I also want to know why. Still waiting for response...

I think buckeyes are where the idea for 3 and 4 ingredient peanut butter cookies came from

Totally off topic but OMG your makeup is AMAZING!!!
THIS AIN'T NO LAURA IN THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY! Much love 💜❤️
It's easier to mix sugar with melted peanut butter first, and then add rice cereals..
Exactly. She should have added the powdered sugar to the pot of melted ingredients then stirred in the cereal.
Thank you for the tip! Mine came out a bit wonky.
I was thinking the same thing.
Thanks for the tip! I’m getting ready to make these for Xmas and I’m doing a big batch, so I’m glad I read that!! 👍🎄🥰

That is a good idea. I don't care for peanut butter that much

Yep :) I'm from Nebraska and some people call them that.
I've heard that here in Illinois, too.
In Ohio too! Love Buckeyes!
Narwhal power yeah they are real popular here in kentucky
Taylor Williams no rice krispies in buckeyes

Laura can i use nutella instead of peanut butter? None in my family likes peanut butter. Everyone in my family likes nutella???? Can i?
Go for it :)
Yay :)
I think Nutella is too heavy. Like the taste and the calories comparing to Peanut butter.. Don't use a lot!
Zyrex i won't recommend it actually... coz the outsides are already coated in chocolate but hey, go for what you want!
I never knew hazelnut butter was a thing... I NEED IT NOW :D
Have to make these for Christmas. Love you thank you Laura
can I make this with nougat or something else like that, because I HATE the taste of Peanuts :s
Madelaine Thomsen maybe almond butter
Cookie butter maybe?
