I love 2Cellos and was sad to hear they parted ways. I am thankful to have seen their last concert in California. They are brilliant!

The perfect introduction to 2 Cellos. It takes what people associate with the Cello and turns it on it's head. Those 2 Guys are definitely making the Cello Cool 😎.
@STJEPAN HAUSER The Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland, Australia. It's up a Mountain Range behind Cairns and has cooler temperatures than the coast. With Rainforests, Waterfalls, Rolling Green Hills and due to Long Extinct Volcanoes our soil is good for growing a wide variety of crops. It's also Dairy Country. I'm originally from Brisbane, but I moved up here as a Teenager.
@STJEPAN HAUSER I only discovered you guys a couple of months ago. This video really works for Me I like pretty much every type of music from Classical to Heavy Metal. I can't play any instruments, but I sing. I'm a Messo-soprano. But My Neice is Soprano who plays the Piano, Violin and Cello.

They Are thé BEST that i’ve heard in rock the LATEST years!!
These guys are beyond amazing they play everything you can imagine. They've been playing since they were like 8, grew up competing against each other all their lives and finally at in their late teens decided to pair up and create 2Cellos. You need to check out their Catalogue it is massive. Their Game of Thrones piece is incredible.
And they actually use "horsehair bows" so yes they do shred as they very actively play, but they are made of literally hundreds of strands of hair, so its not like they'll ever disintegrate. They blow my mind with almost everything they do and I watch just about every good Cello group I can find on the net. 🤯🤯😁

These guys are awesome. Discovered by Elton John or pushed into fame performing with Elton John's tour about ten yrs ago. Unfortunately they will hold their final concert in Dec 2022. Great reaction. 😎

@@elaines5750 Not sure, Retire? go solo? I didn't get that far when the realization hit me I'd never experience them live. Not sure if their splitting for good or just touring. Maybe they will still record? We can hope. 😎
@@susanbeckmolloy9536 I did some research. Stjepan wants to go solo and Luka wants to spend time with his family. Both say they need a break as they have built up an intense daily schedule including 200 flights a year. They want to unwind from their hectic 8 years but they haven't ruled out a possible reunion someday! I also missed a live performance by them 😢🎶 but maybe all is not lost!

It never was boring it's just the classical conventions taught in classes traditionally was completely apposed to this kind of playing for a very long time and even today theres snobs who will turn their noses up at it... and those people who can shovel it... music is a form art and expression not a form to be forced to be playing artists who died 200-400 years ago... it's like the idea that a sax should be for jazz only, my idea of music is more open minded if it sounds good to me then I don't care what instrument is used to play jazz and yes you can shred on pretty much any of the Violin family!

The 2Cellos are AWESOME!!! Check out “Mombassa” from the film Inception. Choose from the video Live at Arena di Verona (on electric Cellos) or Live at Suntory Hall, Tokyo (on classical Cellos) it’s just great. Their live concerts are something else. Smooth Criminal, With or Without you, etc, etc. it’s all good.

All I can say is if they ever make Eric Flint's 1632 book series into a TV series they need to get these guys on it. There is a whole storyline about the effects of modern music had on the downtime world the town found itself flung into.

Thanks for this. Never heard of them before other than seeing and ignoring, the name when watching UA-cam, but that seems to happen quite a lot recently. For example, I just watched Celtic Woman performing "Tír na nÓg" (ua-cam.com/video/dhW1mh7U6-U/v-deo.html). Never heard of them either (23M views since 2016). Will you be doing more 2cellos, or should I just head off and binge watch? It must be irritating to wait to react to them.
